One Owner W/ 40k Miles - Berlina Black On Black - No Accidents, Lady Driven on 2040-cars
Leesburg, Virginia, United States
2001 Honda S2000 For sale is a 2001 Honda S2000. It is Berlina Black with a black interior. It has just under 40,000 miles and has only had one older female owner with no pets. It is in amazing mechanical condition and drives beautifully. It has never been smoked in, never driven in the snow, and has been mostly garaged. It has never been an accident and all of the paint is original. Everything works perfectly. All maintenance is current and it does not need anything. The top has been replaced and is in excellent condition. The front brakes and rotors are new. All four tires are new. They are Continental ExtremeContact DW tires. It just received an oil change from the Honda dealership. Finally, to address some common problems on early S2000s: The tail lights are not fading. It doesn't have reverse gear lockout. There are no grinds or excessive notchiness in the gearbox. All gears hold securely. There is no clutch-buzz. All recalls have been completed. Mechanically this is as nice as early model S2000s get. I have owned several and have been driving one as my personal car for 8 years. Cosmetically it has a few scratches from normal use, as it was her daily driver. Please email me with any questions. I will take additional pictures by the morning of Friday Sep 12th and add them to the listing, including the engine bay, trunk, tires, etc. Thank you.

2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:
2013 North American Car of the Year:
Honda confirms 2014 Odyssey and Acura MDX for New York
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Look beneath the seats of a Honda Odyssey and you'll likely find a handful of that iconic loop cereal loved by toddlers nationwide. And to show that Honda understands its minivan's target market, it is using the breakfast staple to announce its plans to reveal the updated 2014 model at next week's New York Auto Show. While the announcement is creative, it unfortunately lacks much in the way of information, leaving us with little more than a vague teaser alluding to "some innovative new features."
As expected, Honda has also confirmed we will see the production version of the 2014 Acura MDX in New York. We expect the 2014 MDX to look very much like the prototype we saw in January at the Detroit Auto Show with only slight differences. The 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 will be offered with all-wheel drive or, in a first for MDX, front-wheel drive.
You'll find the official press snippets for both below, and we'll have live images and details on both from the New York show. Until then... Cheerio!
Honda flaunts freshened 2014 Civic Coupe at SEMA
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Honda took the wraps off its 2014 Civic Coupe (red car pictured above) and 2014 Civic Si (gray car in the gallery below) at SEMA today, revealing a mid-cycle refresh for each model. The standard Civic coupe benefits from several cosmetic enhancements, while the Civic Si gets the bulk of its improvements under the hood - precisely where the enthusiasts want them.
The best-selling Civic Coupe sports a new front fascia that is "fun and sporty," says the automaker. The more aggressive snout is a step in the proper direction, as its new shape and exclusive grille design gives the two-door a distinctive appearance that sets it apart from its sedan sibling. The rear end follows the same design language, as the lower portion of the urethane bumper gains some character - its smooth surface has been resculpted and recontoured. Newly available 18-inch wheels complete the exterior transformation.
The 2014 Civic Si benefits from a larger spoiler and new wheels, but the big news is in the powertrain. Honda has massaged the 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine and opened up the exhaust system. As a result, output climbs to 205 horsepower (up from 201) and torque increases to 174 pound-feet (up from 170). The power gains aren't extraordinary, but they should allow the coupe to hit 60 miles per hour from a standstill in about six seconds flat and still return over 30 mpg on the open road. Scroll down for the official release.
