My sister is the original owner, and has asked me to help her sell it. She is the original owner of the car, and we have the window sticker, dealer purchase contract, owners manuals, etc. I have the title in hand. The car is in near perfect condition, just a few paint chips (I have a bottle of touch up paint on order from the local Honda dealer), and some minor curb rash on both passenger side rims.

The car was driven by a little old lady (I'm not kidding, my sister is in her 50's). My brother in law and her went to the local Honda dealer to purchase an Accord for him, the C/R was in the showroom, she fell in love with it and bought it on the spot (and he bought an Accord, too)

The car has never required even the most minor of repairs. She returned to the dealer for oil changes (I have all the receipts in hand), and she replaced the original Bridgestone tires 2 years/ 12k miles ago with Hankooks (I have that receipt in hand too). The fact that the original Bridgestone tires with very soft rubber lasted 15,800 miles is a indication how gently the car has been driven (plenty of tread left on the Hankooks too)

It has the audio system and air conditioning that were optional on the C/R. We also have the genuine Honda soft cover that she purchased from the dealer, and that and the original hardtop are included in the sale of the car.

The car has always been kept in a heated garage, was never driven in the winter, and was driven in the rain a handful of times as the hardtop was rarely ever installed. If there was any chance of rain she always drove her SUV.

The car has never been modified, abused, raced, or tracked.

Honda reveals more with Civic Type R concept bound for Paris

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

The reveal of the next-generation Honda Civic Type R has been a gradual one. First Honda showed us a camouflaged prototype, then let us drive one at its Japanese proving ground and followed up with a concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Now with the Paris Motor Show looming on the horizon, it has revealed yet another concept to keep hot-hatch enthusiasts on their toes.
The second Civic Type R concept appears almost identical to the first one - right down to the aggressive aero kit, quad exhaust tips, oversized wheels and ultra-low-profile rubber - but wears a new coat of Superman blue with go-fast decals. With its release, however, Honda has confirmed some of the salient details set for the production version.
In the nose sits a 2.0-liter turbo four with 276 horsepower and a 7,000-rpm redline, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Adaptive dampers and a "steer axis" system promise to keep the power under control, while a push of the +R button tightens up the suspension, steering and torque mapping.

Honda takes us through 50 years of automobiles in 60 seconds

Honda's wonderfully simple, fun ads are not in short supply right now. We showed you Hands, the followup to 2003's The Cog, last week. If you haven't had a chance to look at those two great videos, we strongly encourage you to head over that way and give them a watch.
The latest minute-long commercial is a bit more dear, though. And while it may be in Japanese, it's still a cool look back at Honda and its car-building history.
This is also a great video if you're a fan of odd, vintage Japanese vehicles. Honda's T360 and a few old Civics are featured heavily, although we can't help but notice that a few very big names are missing. Where's the NSX or the S2000? How about the original Insight, a car so revolutionary it still has a cult following today? Honda has made some great cars, we just wish it'd show off more of them. Check out the video below.

Honda debuts NSX Concept-GT hybrid racer

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Not to be outdone by Lexus and its new LF-CC racecar, Honda is also bringing a little more excitement to the Japanese Super GT racing series with its NSX Concept-GT. Yes, just like the original NSX, this racecar will wear the Honda badge in its home market when it replaces the current offering in that series, the non-production HSV-010 GT, which itself replaced the NSX in the series back in 2010.
Looking exactly how we'd imagine a race-prepped 2015 Acura NSX to look, this racer is mean and sexy at the same time, and it will be powered by a racing hybrid system with a turbocharged four-cylinder mounted behind the driver. No word on power output, but it will compete in the GT500 class, which restricts power output to 500 horsepower. Unlike the Lexus racecar, the Honda NSX Concept-GT will being competing this season starting with this weekend's race at the Suzuka Circuit before running the full 10-race 2014 season. Scroll down for the short press release.
