2004 Honda S2000 Roadster *immaculate Low Mileage* Vtec 2.2l 6 Speed on 2040-cars
United States
2004 Honda S2000 AP2 VTEC 2.2L super clean. The best deal out there, rather than the other wrecked ones for sale, and with more mileage on some. No defects other than those noted in pictures. No cracks, cracks on dash, scratches, smells, tears, stains, nothing of those. Interior wear on left seat, I can get it fixed if requested. Super clean, and engine compartment is as good as new. Original under the hood stickers and vins all matching. No frame damage, and certainly no airbag deployment guaranteed. No airbag problems. Never replaced, all from it rolled off the factory in April of 2004. It has salvage title, but the car has been refurbished to the max. Oem rear bumper and right fender replaced from Honda directly ordered from japan. I have all receipts from Rudolph Honda. Runs straight, and never even did alignment. Two rims with some scratches and noted on picture only really seen from close up. Scratches on paint only one, and noted in the pictures. VTEC, the variable cam is amazing kicks in with no problems at 6500 rpm strong. If you haven't felt it its a lifetime thrill. ICE COLD air and Heater working amazing. No cracks on dash or center console. The center console is as good as new. No cracks on any plastic inside. All electric stuff works with no problems and never been messed with, the cluster has no cracks. Convertible top is fast! No modifications at all on this beauty, all stock I like s2000's stock. Convertible top defects noted in pictures and could use a new top, normal from a car ten years old. HID Xenon lights working amazing and bright all original. Same with leds on the back. Windshield no cracks. All glass original with VIN Numbers. Door panels in amazing condition with all matching vin numbers. Three custom decals can be taken off no problem and under them there's no paint damage at all (I have picture when it didn't have them). Only paint damage is noted in pictures. Clutch is amazing, and car has been maintenanced properly all oils changed regularly. Right now has maint rqd light because I have used it, basically just oil change new belts regular maintenance stuff, other than that no other lights on. Has very low mileage only 6700 per year. The engine revs amazing. This car has never been raced or tracked. It is garage kept everyday, and never driven in rain or bad weather. I am not the original owner but the past one took great care of it. Pet free and smoke free. Original owners manual, with original floor mats, extra tire and jack. No dents or dings. No mechanical problems and has been inspected by Honda. This car leaves everyone in the dust for all I know. If you need to see under the car I can provide pics and video let me know early. Please bid responsibly with all respect, no retracting bids or cancelling after the item is sold. Car is sold as is, all defects noted in pictures and there are videos of the car, I want a smooth transaction. Honda Urban SUV concept previews Fit-based crossover
Mon, 14 Jan 2013We've been hearing a lot of rumblings this year about a new crossover based on the Honda Fit, and now we finally get to see what this B-segment CUV might look like. Called the Urban SUV Concept, Honda's new small crossover has made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show, but we'll have to wait until 2014 to see the production version on sale in the US. Honda says the production version of this concept, whatever it will be called, will slot below the CR-V in terms of size and price.
In terms of this concept's styling, there is plenty of the new Honda Accord in its face, and it looks like a more rugged version of the Nissan Juke, as well as a more practical alternative to the Hyundai Veloster. With its short overhangs, the concept measures 169.3 inches in length, making it about eight inches longer than a Fit hatchback and nine inches shorter than the CR-V. Honda confirmed that its new crossover will debut a telematics system for Honda, and it will use one of Honda's new Earth Dreams engines; we previously reported that this engine would be a 1.5-liter I4 paired with a continuously variable transmission.
The next-generation Fit is expected to debut before this new crossover model, and both models will be built at Honda's Celaya, Mexico assembly plant, which is scheduled to open early next year. A new sedan is also expected to round out the lineup of Fit-based products. For more information about this new Urban SUV Concept, scroll down for Honda's official press release.
Honda recalling 748k Odyssey and Pilot models over airbag concern
Fri, 18 Jan 2013American Honda today announced a recall of approximately 748,000 Odyssey and Pilot models due to faulty airbag concerns. The vehicles in question are Odyssey minivans from the 2011 to 2013 model years and Pilot crossovers from the 2009 to 2013 model years.
According to a statement from Honda, driver's side airbags in the affected vehicles were potentially assembled without some of the rivets that secure the bag's plastic cover. Because of this, the airbag may not deploy properly in the event of a crash, leading to further occupant injury. As of this writing, no injuries have been reported in conjunction with this issue.
Honda will begin officially notifying owners via mail in mid-February. The automaker urges customers to take their vehicles to an authorized dealership, where vehicles will be inspected and, if necessary, repaired. In lieu of waiting for the snail mail approach, owners may also visit www.recalls.honda.com or can contact the automaker directly at 1.800.999.1009 and select option four.
