I'm finally selling my s2000 after owning it for over 10 years. It's in great shape and draws a crowd everywhere it goes. Very fast and reliable. I have a hood that has a cutout so the engine can poke through a little bit. Will get pics of it. Car has a clean ny title.  Here is a breakdown of what the car has.

Engine is all stock out of a 06 viper srt10 with 14k miles and is extremely clean. The transmission, harness , pcm and all other parts came from the same car. I replaced the clutch with a stage 2 exedy disc and pressure plate. New Hurst shifter. The clutch slave and clutch master are also new units from mopar performance.  The rear end is upgraded to handle much more hp and torque than the oem unit. It is the inline pro r200 conversion kit with stage 5 axles, upgraded hubs and arp extended wheel studs. Custom thick walled driveshaft

The radiator is a custom 3" thick core sized for this engine with 2 12inch electric fans controlled by an adjustable temperature fan switch. It has a 160 degree thermostat installed.  The oil system is mostly stock with the exception of an oil filter relocation kit and added oil cooler.

Exhaust; The headers are modified short tubes. It has dual 3" exhaust going to large obx mufflers.

         Brakes/suspension/wheels

Honda celebrates the life of Ayrton Senna the best way it knows how

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

Honda is returning to Formula One in 2015 with McLaren, and when that engine maker and that F1 constructor are mentioned together, two other words are never far behind: Ayrton Senna. There are engine suppliers, constructors and drivers that have bigger numbers, but those three form a triumvirate that came close to defining F1 in the eighties.
Honda Japan has produced a commercial called Sound of Honda that celebrates Senna at a race that turned out to be one of the most momentous of his career for good and bad reasons: the 1989 grand prix at Suzuka where he won, then was stripped of, the driver's championship.
The commercial has a terrifically simple premise - there's no CG, no old footage of Senna, no one says a word, it's just sound. And it's pretty damn good. Check it out below.

Honda Civic Tourer Concept shows the shape of European things to come [w/video]

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

Honda will be expanding its European Civic range this year, and our first glimpse at the shape of things to come arrives in the form of this Tourer Concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. According to Honda, this swoopy concept provides a look at the upcoming Civic Tourer production model, which is set to be revealed in Frankfurt this September.
The Tourer Concept very obviously builds on the design groundwork set by the latest Civic hatchback when it first debuted in 2011. That means there are sharp, angular elements found up front and a sloping roofline that rakes down at the rear. Combine that with the large, concept-spec wheels and the funky front lighting elements, and what we have here is a really attractive little wagon - something that will no doubt battle the new Toyota Auris Touring Sports and Volkswagen Golf Variant that are also making their debut here in Switzerland.
It goes without saying, but don't expect to see this Euro Civic show up in the United States anytime soon. After all, we have the "there, I fixed it" 2013 sedan and coupe to keep us happy. Scroll down for all of the wagony details, including a video.

NHTSA investigating 343,000 Honda Odyssey minivans

Sat, 06 Jul 2013

The recall bug could strike Honda again as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened another investigation concerning the Odyssey minivan. Honda has already recalled 59,000 Odysseys from the 2012 and 2013 model years due to a shift interlock issue, and another 320,000 of the minivans from 2003-04 are being investigated for faulty airbags. Now, TheDetroitBureau.com is reporting that NHTSA is taking a look at the 2007-08 Odyssey for a problem associated with the brakes.
This investigation reportedly includes 343,000 Odysseys that could be suffering from an unexpected application of the brakes. According to the article, at least 22 people have reported such an issue, and in five cases, dealers found a trouble code associated with the steering angle sensor - part of the anti-lock brake and stability control systems. There is still no indication as to whether or not this will become a recall, but Honda has already recalled more than 1.8 million units this year.
