LOWERED RESERVE PRICE! Here is your chance to own a nice Turbo S2000. The car has over $6000 in the Turbo kit alone. Car shows 36,841 miles with an AP2 engine and a AP1 transmission. The turbo kit has less than 700 miles on it. Car has a Precision 6266 Turbo, Full Race turbo manifold, Tial MVR 44mm wastegate, TurboSmart boost controller, Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors, SOS 3 bar map sensor, Walpro 255 fuel pump, Rywire injector harness, Tial 50mm blowoff valve, ARP head studs, Cometic 2mm head gasket, AEM Series 2 ECU. Also the car has a full 3 inch exhaust into dual Tsudo mufflers. Has a Competition Stage 4 clutch kit, new drilled and slotted rotors and brakes. The wheels are powder coated 17 inch G35 wheels with new Bridgestone Potenza tires. Has H&R lowering springs, a new soft top with a glass back window. New hood shocks, AP2 front bumper, Sony Am/FM remote cd player and a rear spoiler. Has red and black interior. I have a new Duraflex front bumper and side skirt kit that goes with the car. The stock ecu is included along with the ac lines we took off during the build. The ac was working great when it was removed. The electric power steering was working fine till 2 months ago but it is not working right now. This should be a easy fix. The car will show a mileage discrepancy due to the engine being changed out by the previous owner. The back bumper has some scratches and the bumper plug is missing. The front bumper has a couple of paint cracks. The car starts, runs and handles great. We have a street tune on the car and we estimate the horsepower to be between 425 and 475 hp currently on 12 pounds for safe air fuel ratio. You will not be disappointed in the performance and overall looks of this vehicle. I am willing to answer any questions you may have on it but please call between 8: 00 am and 1:pm CST during the week and any time on the weekend. Honda gunning for world's longest Rose Parade float
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Honda has participated in the annual Rose Parade for the past 53 years and returns this year as the presenting sponsor for the fourth time running. But it's not satisfied merely putting its name on the event; Honda intends to lead from the front with what promises to be the longest float in the parade's long history.
The float, previewed in the rendering above, will measure 274 feet long, as tall as 30 feet high, as wide as 18 feet and weighing a whopping 50 tons with 8,980 flowers covering its surface. The train will be led by a locomotive designed to mimic the Acura NSX, with Asimo at the wheel. The second car in the train showcases a Honda engine, followed by a robotic arm, and, for the first time in the parade's history, a pair of 30-foot LED monitors displaying images of spectators lining the parade route. A caboose inspired by the Honda Jet will pick up the rear.
Oh, and in case you're wondering just who Honda will be knocking off the record books with its 274-foot train of roses, that would be... also Honda. The Japanese company set the record in 2005 with a 207-foot float. Scope out the details in the press release below and click the image above to view in high resolution.
Honda reveals next-gen Fit Hybrid
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Psst! Remember late last month when we showed you those Japanese magazine scans purporting to show the next Honda Fit? The ones with the markedly more aggressive snout and Cuisinart-blade alloys? Yup, they were the real deal, but they weren't the standard model, they were images of the new Hybrid. We know this because Honda has just released a handful of images and some details on its forthcoming gas-electric hatchback, and the images line up perfectly.
The big story for the third-generation Fit Hybrid will be the fuel economy, naturally. Honda says it has achieved economy ratings of 36.4 kilometers per liter - 86 miles per gallon - on its home-market cycle, highest among all hybrid models in Japan and a 35-percent improvement over the current Fit Hybrid, a model not sold in the US.

eBay Find of the Day: 1985 Honda City Turbo II is JDM forbidden fruit you can own
Fri, 14 Feb 2014It's always fun to cruise different global eBay Motors sites and check out the cars that we never got here. Thankfully, America's 25-year import limit on cars means that some of the rarities from the 80s are finally legal on these shores. This 1985 Honda City Turbo II is a great example of a fun, little car that we never got new but can be made legal here now.
The City was basically the Japanese company's '80s equivalent of today's Fit, albeit significantly smaller. The little urban runabout was so popular in its basic form that Honda decided to take things up a notch and turbocharge it. That car sold enough to warrant an even higher performance version called the Turbo II, which added an intercooler and the flared fenders you see here. The latter helped it earn the nickname "bulldog" for its boxy, aggressive appearance.
Honda claimed at the time that its little 1.2-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder produced 109 horsepower and 118 pound-feet of torque with a five-speed manual. In a car that weight just 1,620 pounds, you can imagine it was a very entertaining little package.
