2006 Honda Ridgeline Rt Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Northampton, Massachusetts, United States
2006 Honda Ridgeline, was my daily driver for business. Purchased it used from a private sale. Party was a salesman so it has an additional Parrot 3200 LS phone/accounting system?, the remote is located just below the radio. It has the full Leather/ Navigation package, XM radio with 6 CD Package (photo), Tinted rear windows. Couple of dents from usage. I purchased the solid rear trunk cover which is great, there an additional storage area below the bed that no one thinks about. It's been a very nice car for us. One little spot of paint bubble front corner of the hood (photo) besides that just the traditional small chips from the road. Interior is quite nice. Heated Leather seats and the car is just great in the winter. If purchaser is local, will remove wheels and inspect together, will replace brakes if necessary. Installed a trailer hitch for small boat trailer.
Had the Radiator replaced last winter and do oil changes myself. Smoke free vehicle Top rear plastic piece on drivers side of bed is missing, white accessory light lens on interior passenger side door fell out (placed in glove compartment) and clear lens that is part of and goes over the passenger side rear directional light is broken. The red signaling lens is still intact. Instead of repairing broken plastic I've left it all as one package, with both the good extras and negative items to be replaced items. If vehicle does not sell I'll repair and adjust price accordingly. Will answer all questions and forward additional photo's if required. Please look to KBB for pricing. KBB Private sale: $8597 KBB Dealer Trade in $6887 If vehicle needs to be shipped, as long a transportation is arranged by buyer, I'll make sure truck get's placed on trailer. Clean in hand title. Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
Honda discontinuing Euro Accord, no replacement in sight
Wed, 22 Oct 2014Honda has built two Accords for many years. There's the one we're familiar with here in the United States, and then there's the Accord sold in markets like Europe and Australia, known here in the US as the Acura TSX. But just like Acura did with the TSX, the Euro-market Accord has been discontinued.
The news comes from The Motor Report in Australia, which is reporting that the Accord Euro will be discontinued in 2015. Sold Down Under alongside the US-market model, the discontinuation of the Aussie car indicates an end to Honda's midsize sedan efforts in Europe, where there is no obvious replacement for the four-door and wagon models.
According to TMR, Honda Australia Director Stephen Collins indicated that focus will be placed instead on the US market "wide-body" model, as it's known. That said, this decision doesn't sound like it's sitting too well in Oz.
Marchionne now considering 'Plan B' partners for FCA merger
Thu, Jun 11 2015Okay Sergio, just stop. With the sting of rejection from General Motors CEO Mary Barra still fresh, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne is moving on and trying to find another automaker to merge with. FCA may not be giving up hope on a merger with GM, but that doesn't mean it isn't at least considering alternatives. Sergio's so-called "Plan Bs" include the Volkswagen Group, as well as smaller Asian outfits, like Mazda, Honda, Suzuki, and Hyundai. Bloomberg reports that France's beleaguered PSA Peugeot Citroen could as a sort of "fallback" option due to its relative lack of volume, an unidentified source claimed. There are, of course, problems with each option. According to Bloomberg, Volkswagen expects complete control of a company, but the Agnelli family, which holds a large portion of FCA stock, is loathe to relinquish its stake in the company. On top of that, VAG just isn't looking to make a deal right now. Mazda, meanwhile, is enjoying a new partnership with Toyota and Suzuki is partially owned by VW. Honda and Hyundai have never expressed any interest in a partnership with a western automaker. That kind of just leaves the French then, but even that remains a long shot. As Bloomberg tells it, PSA boss Carlos Tavares is still working on a turn-around plan, and would want at least another six months to execute before even considering a deal with FCA. And even then, Tavares hasn't given any indication that he's considering a pairing.
