GREAT FIRST CAR/PROJECT CAR... GREAT MPG... SUPER SAFE!!!

I LOVE this CAR, it's got a H22A... that i only put about 43K mi on after a FULL REBUILD... need i say more??? it also has FULL NEW EXHAUST, Clarion component Front speakers, Kenwood Excelon Head unit, and new Kckers in the back.. sounds like a Comp system... i also have redone the alternator & upgraded battery to keep it in balance... I got light weight 17" racing wheels, short throw shifter, Chipped ECM, Cold Air Intake, Front & Rear Strut bar Upgraded lightweight Pulleys, larger cooling fan, New Belts & Hoses, Original Dash Cluster STILL WORKS, Tinted windows, Original interior still in decent shape... few other minor cosmetic up grades.
It does have a few issues, mostly cosmetic, but mechanically it's in VERY GOOD shape, still runs like a champ and when that VTEC kicks in it's like riding a bull, ur just hanging on 4 the ride, yet hugs the corners. I'd have 2 say it's a STARTER Porche

Why am i selling this car... that is the question... mostly because i'm realizing i'm too big 2 ride around in it anymore... and I don't have the time i once did 2 keep it in tip top shape, as u can tell by the minor problem that are due to neglict, as i don't get 2 drive it EVERY Week like i used to, so i'm deciding to pass on the most fun i've ever had 2 some other lucky person who can take care of it the way i did and LOVE every second of it!

Honda Civic Type R caught naked and frisky

Tue, 13 May 2014

Honda's upcoming Civic Type R is one of our most anticipated models of the next year - and we probably won't even get it in North America. And yet, each time we see it, the five-door just seems so menacing and purposeful. An all-but-undisguised version has just been spotted by our photographers testing on the back roads in Germany. If this signals what to expect, then the project appears to be coming along nicely.
Compared to the concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show, this prototype looks even meaner. Check out those big, blistered front fender extensions, taller wing, deeply sculpted front air dam and 10-spoke gold wheels. The Type R certainly certainly isn't hiding its performance intentions, and it has no reason to. Under the hood, we know it packs Honda's new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder pumping out 276 horsepower, which is likely connected to a six-speed manual.
Now, if only Honda could find some way to get this machine across The Pond and into the our hot little hands. There has already been an online petition begging the Japanese automaker to find a way, and after recently enjoying an all-too-brief prototype drive, we're ready to sign up.

2014 Honda Odyssey revamp only costs an extra $150*

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Honda has released pricing on its 2014 Odyssey. Buyers can take home the revamped minivan for $28,825 (excluding an $830 destination fee). That price marks a $150 increase over the 2013 model, but that extra Benjamin and a half buys you a whole slate of updates. Those include a new six-speed automatic transmission in all trims, revised exterior styling and a few tweaks to the instrument cluster and dash controls. Honda's familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine provides 248 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, and the new gearbox helps the van return 19 miles per gallon city and 28 mpg highway.
Of course, those who opt for the top-shelf $44,450* Touring Elite trim will get to play with the new HondaVac vacuum cleaner system. The handheld vac is built into the van's rear cargo area and recharges using the onboard 12-volt electrical system. The little vacuum features a removable debris canister as well as a replaceable filter bag and can run for eight minutes between charges. Check out the full press release below for more information.

Honda Accord Hybrid sales capacity constrained

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Honda might be selling more hybrids if it could just get them to dealers. While the second-generation Insight never lived up to sales expectations and production is ending, the Japanese automaker is seeing strong demand for the Accord Hybrid here and abroad. However, there is so much global consumer desire that it can't keep them in US showrooms.
The problem limiting the sales of the Accord Hybrid is its battery pack and its popularity in Japan. "There's a waiting list for the product," said Jeff Conrad, Honda general manager, to Ward's Auto about the sedan's US popularity. While the American Accord is built in Marysville, OH, the batteries are imported from Japan, where the model is quite popular. According to Ward's data, the automaker sold 2,414 examples of the hybrid version from October 2013 to February 2014 in the US, but it shifted 6,000 units in Japan in its first three months on sale. Conrad also admitted that the constrained supply is limiting the amount of marketing the automaker can do for the hybrid.
Honda spokesperson Chris Martin told Autoblog the company is working on a solution to increase production for the near future. "We are going to resolve the battery issue," he said.
