Up for auction is my 1992 Honda Prelude SI. The vehichle is all original except for the Alpine C/D player Rims & Exhaust. The motor and tranny were rebuilt in 2008 and now has 47000 miles I havent driven the car in a couple of years do to traveling.The paint is still shinny however does have some scratches. The front clip has a split from someone backing into the car.The Tires are 15" low profile on Pacer rims. They have about 80% tread life left.The car has never been wrecked other than the front clip.The interiour is blue the seats are in great condition a couple small spots here and there. The carpet is also in great shape headliner is fine.Dash is not cracked.It has a sunroof power windows cruise am/fm/Alpine system. The A/C will need to be charged as I havent driven in some time.The car gets around 30 mpg it does have the load exhaust. Over all the car is in oustanding condition I would not hesitate to drive it any where. The reason for selling I am moving west and now have a company car. Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands
Honda launches new JDM Odyssey, Mugen chips in [w/video]
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Honda has just released its new Odyssey minivan for the Japanese Domestic Market, and it has plenty of style and room for up to eight people. Honda factory tuning company Mugen will also offer performance and styling parts for the fifth-generation minivan.
The Odyssey is offered in B and G trim with a 173-horsepower, 2.4-liter I-VTEC four-cylinder mated to a continuously variable transmission with optional paddle shifters and seven 'speeds.' The more upscale Odyssey Absolute features sportier styling, and but all models are available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The interior follows a "modern suite" design concept inspired by luxury hotels, with wood trim and comfortable-looking seats. Additionally, customers can choose between models with a lift-up second-row seat or a lift-up front passenger seat. Honda highlights the Odyssey's low floor height and high ceiling, which accentuates the spacious interior. The low floor also endows the minivan with a step height of 30 centimeters (11.8 inches) at the rear sliding door to afford easy entry.
