Brief Explanation on salvage and rebuilt titles
Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage or Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss” Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy or sell anything with major damage. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done, if required by your State, to get the car back on the road. It saves a lot of trouble for buyers as they don’t have to get the car inspected or fill out any extra paper work as is the case with Salvage title.

Honda recalls nearly 10,000 new Civic models over pinched tires
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Honda is recalling some 9,816 Civic LX coupes and sedans from the 2014 model year due to a potential tire problem.
According to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice, the safety problem stems from an installation problem at a supplier, which may have caused the tire bead to become pinched between the steel wheel and the mounting equipment. As a result, tire beads may have been damaged, which could result in a loss of pressure, a condition that could lead to an increased accident risk, or at least an increased risk of being stranded and late for work.
Honda spokesperson Chris Martin tells Autoblog, "Only about 1,800 of that 9,800 have been sold because we caught it so quickly. The majority of them were in transit or unsold at dealers."
NHTSA Probes Nearly 400,000 Infiniti, Honda Vehicles Over Steering Faults
Tue, Nov 11 2014As many as 391,000 vehicles from Honda and Infiniti may eventually need to be recalled as a result of two, separately announced Preliminary Evaluations from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to ascertain the scope of the potential safety hazards. In one of the queries, NHTSA is looking into 24 reports from drivers of the 2013 Honda Accord who say they had total loss of their power steering or experienced a sudden increase in the necessary effort to turn the wheel. In four cases, the problem may be linked to crashes. According to the claims, 13 people reported seeing a warning message during the failure. Turning off the car and restarting it would fix the issue in some cases. If a recall is necessary, it could affect an estimated 374,000 Accords. The second investigation is much smaller in scope. The safety agency is investigating the 2008 Infiniti EX35 after two complaints of the steering wheel shaft separating and the vehicle losing the ability to steer. Both reports say the steering became loose when driving and then completely failed once the vehicle was stopped. A recall for the problem would affect an estimated 17,000 vehicles. New Odyssey ads feature Honda Vac, star power
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Honda has released a string of new ads highlighting its refreshed, 2014 Odyssey minivan. While the Japanese brand hasn't started bragging about attaining the first Top Safety Pick+ for minivans, it's all too happy to brag about another first - the world's first van with a built-in vacuum cleaner.
In three spots, anthropomorphic children's rubbish discusses the merits of the new minivan, only to be sucked up by the built-in vacuum, which is only available in the top-end Touring Elite model. There's also quite a bit of star power floating around for those that watch a lot of TV. Neil Patrick Harris from Doogie Howser, MD and How I Met Your Mother voices a character in one of the spots, while Rainn Wilson from The Office stars in another.
