This is a 1995 Honda Passport that is fully loaded with power locks (rear locks stick), sunroof, 4x4 & has been serviced and runs good with about 269,000 miles with hot heat & cold A/C.

The interior looks good with all electronics working as they should. It has an after- market Pioneer  AM/FM/CD stereo with USB & wired amp hookup (the original Honda radio is included also).

It has good carpet and seats (driver seat has a 1 inch tear on upper seam).

The exterior is nice & dent free; Paint is in good shape: some fading on the tailgate and roof. Matching Hankook DynaPro SUV tires have about 60% tread left. Brand new spare tire.

The previous owner just had the engine fully serviced with spark plugs, wires, timing belt & complete brake service at 220,000 miles.

It runs nice, but of course it has that Honda tick that comes with a vehicle with this amount of miles, but disappears after it warms up.

The automatic transmission was serviced also and shifts like it is suppose to. This Passport is ready to roll another 150k.

This is a great vehicle that is sold as-is & is priced right at $2800 OBO. As everyone knows Honda’s last forever. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and there is a non- refundable $500.00 Deposit to PayPal within 24 hours of auction end.   $200.00 paperwork, filing, transfer fees to be paid in addition to final payment.

Please check all photos carefully and ask any questions.  Thanks. Happy Bidding!!

Honda Civic poised to get new Earth Dreams engines

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

When Honda executed its emergency refresh of the Civic for 2013, it didn't do any massive powertrain reworking. But that doesn't mean new things aren't already in the works for Honda's compact. According to Automotive News, Honda has confirmed that it will offer the Civic with a new Earth Dreams powerplant sometime in the future, though details on timing and exactly what sort of engine are unclear as of this writing.
The confirmation comes from Honda's executive vice president and regional director for North America, Tetsuo Iwamura, who says that the Earth Dreams engine will come when the Civic is re-engineered or redesigned, not during a refresh. There is also no mention of whether these changes will apply to just the standard Civic, or if the Si and Hybrid models will receive some Dreamy new tech, as well.
The entire Earth Dreams group of technologies encompasses more than just naturally aspirated engines with direct injection. A turbo-diesel engine is also part of this suite, as are new continuously variable transmissions and new gasoline-electric hybrid powerplants. Honda launched its 2.4-liter and 3.5-liter Earth Dreams engines in the redesigned 2013 Accord.

Check out the Honda Civic hatchback's shapely rear end

Thu, Aug 11 2016

The 10-generation Honda Civic is excellent in all but two areas – performance and utility. The upcoming Si and Type R will satisfy any performance qualms, while Honda will up the utility with its first US-market hatchback in over a decade. Here it is. These images, obtained by the folks at the CivicX forums, are our best look at the hatchback's shapely rear end. Honda kept true to the look of the Civic hatchback prototype shown in Geneva, ditching the twin center-exit exhaust pipes. We're hoping Honda revisits the design on a future Si hatchback, but keeps a similar rear bumper design. The large, black plastic inserts that house the rear reflectors are a more aggressive look than either the Civic coupe or sedan, but aren't flashy or overdone. Weirdly, the rear window reminds us of the Accord CrossTour's back glass, only not ugly. There's a healthy spoiler at the top of the window, along with a similarly sized unit connecting the two taillights. Again, this is mostly like the concept shown in Geneva. What's curious is the date that these images were captured. See, the Civic in the image above is boarding the vehicle carrier M/V Orion Highway. And if we Google the ship, we can see it left Southampton on July 29, stopped in Baltimore – home of an expansive vehicle processing center – on August 8. That means the new Civic Hatch is in the US already. Get excited, Civic fans. Related Video:

Sales incentive growth clustered around brands with few CUVs, trucks

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

While it's arguably been around the longest, the dominance of the four-door sedan has been under threat for many years. As a further sign of the hurtin' that SUVs and crossovers have put on today's four-doors, a new report from Automotive News points to the increasing use of incentives by brands reliant on cars and light on CUVs and pickups.
Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Kia have all been stung by double-digit increases in their incentives-to-transaction price ratio, according to AN, which cites data from TrueCar. Honda's ratio is up 14 percent, while Toyota, VW and Kia are up 18, 15 and 19 percent, respectively.
"Most of the incentive growth we have seen is in product segments with low demand - midsized or large sedans," TrueCar CEO John Krafcik told AN. "As this trend goes on, the brands with three-sedan strategies are going to be in worse shape on incentive spending than the crossover brands."
