2011 Honda Odyssey EXL 29k miles, DVD, leather, heated seats, sunroof, power sliding doors and power lift gate, backup camera, bluetooth, "cool box", 8 passenger. My wife and I have owned this since 19k miles. I am a dealer and we use this for our "personal use" for about 6-8 months then replace it. It was in an accident before we purchased it. Runs and drives great, no issues. Still has remaining factory warranty. If you would like to have it "certified" through Honda that can be worked out but it costs an additional $1000 to have that done. There is also the possible option to have it financed though Honda. I know the guys at the local Honda store and it could be an option but please call first to be sure. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call at 701-367-7603. Honda adopts English as its official language in meetings worldwide
Mon, 25 Nov 2013Japanese was clearly the language of operation while we visited Honda's global headquarters in Tokyo last week, as well as its newest factory and principal test track. Chief executive Takanobu Ito (pictured above) spoke to us through an interpreter. But according to the latest reports, the Japanese language is being phased out at Honda in favor of English.
This according to Bloomberg, which points out that tire manufacturer Bridgestone and rival automaker Nissan have implemented similar measures, as have Japanese retail giants Fast Retailing Co. and Rakuten Inc. Honda's shift from Japanese to English comes as part of a shift in focus from central decision-making to a more regional model, but while English has clearly emerged as the international language of business, it's no coincidence that it's also the dominant language here in America. Bloomberg points out that over the 12-month period that ended this past March, North America accounted for a massive 47 percent of Honda's revenues worldwide.
NACTOY announces top nine finalists for Car, Truck and Utility of the Year
Thu, Nov 16 2023Finalists for the 2024 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards were announced at this year’s L.A. Auto Show. This whittles the field down to nine vehicles in total, with the winners scheduled to be announced on January 4, 2024. The finalists in their respective categories: Car category: Honda Accord, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Toyota Prius Truck category: Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Ford Super Duty Utility category: Genesis Electrified GV70, Kia EV9, Volvo EX30 These nine cars were chosen from a list of 25, which was previously narrowed down from a list of 52 eligible vehicles. Notable misses include the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, Toyota GR Corolla, GMC Canyon, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Mazda CX-90 and Toyota Grand Highlander, among others.
