2012 Honda Fit 6k Miles Gets Over 40 Mpg On The Hwy on 2040-cars
Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
For sale
is 2012 Honda FIT. The car has all all power options for the model. This vehicle
is in a great condition and has only 6700 miles. One of the best qualities of
the car, beside the reliability of Honda is the fact that this vehicle gets
around 43mpg on the highway and around 34-35mpg in the city. This is very
important when the gas prices are close to $4. However we bought this
vehicle from an insurance company and it was damaged on the front. We have
replaced the right fender radiator support, hood, right headlight, bumper cover
and driver’s side air bag. Pictures of the damage are provided so you can get
the idea of the damage. We operate a professional body shop that has been in
business of restoring salvage vehicle for over of 10 years. We are the largest
salvage rebuilder in Charlotte and on one of the largest in NC. We work
according to factory specifications and measurements all our cars go thru
alignment once they are fixed. Our pictures are taken from close proximity so
you can see the car in details. We would also give you a month of warranty on
engine transmission and frame of the vehicle with the buy now price of $10500.
Also if within this one month the car shows any major problems and you decide
that this deal was not good for you, you can return the car to us and we would
refund all the money that you have paid us. We inspect all our vehicles before
we list them for sale and we make sure that all the liquids are changed and
that everything is in perfect order. We go thru the same list that the dealer
would go to certify a vehicle. There is no difference between this car and a
certify vehicle from Honda The only difference is the 5-6 thousand dollars
in the price. However this car is a good purchase for someone who wants to save
a bunch of money and in the same time would not compromise on the quality of
the car. If you decide to purchase the vehicle and you are serious about it
the best way is to call us and discuss the condition of the sale. We can review your offers on eBay but we
would not accept an offer unless we have at least $500 of no-refundable deposit.
Unfortunately eBay system is not designed to where we can collect a deposit
before we accept an offer and if we accept the offer and you do not follow the
purchase we would loose our listing fees. It cost close to $100 to list a car.
So once again if you are serious and you would like to buy the car the best way
is to call 7049537713.

Average transaction prices climb to a record $36,270 in January
Sat, Feb 3 2018The automotive sector made a hash of the numbers last month, a mess of pluses and minuses clogging the transaction-price charts according to Kelley Blue Book. The overall industry rose one percent, even though buyers bought fewer cars and light vehicles in January 2018 vs 2017 using the selling-day adjusted rate. Due to January transaction prices rising to $36,270, a record for January, the value of new vehicles sold climbed more than $1 billion compared to January 2017. KBB's transaction prices don't include customer incentives, which changes the complexion slightly; average incentive spending rose to just over ten percent. The average transaction price in December 2017 was $36,756, so January dropped a bit - nothing unexpected, with the month annually blamed for "January doldrums." More revealing is the fact that the average transaction price in January 2017 was $34,910. This year's plumped-up figure came courtesy of the continued shift to crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks, which shouldn't surprise anyone who's read an automotive blog in the past 20 years. That category comprised nearly 70 percent of new vehicle sales for the month. Some manufacturers profited more than others, though. Fiat Chrysler managed 12.8 percent fewer sales in January compared year-on-year, but the company's vehicles sold for $1,300 more. The Ford brand suffered a 6.3-percent dip in sales, but brand transaction prices increased $2,000, while a Lincoln sold for $8,700 more on average. General Motors sold more cars and sold them for more money; overall GM transaction prices rose four percent, or $1,270, while a GMC traded hands for seven-percent more than in January 2017 and a Cadillac got $2,300 more on average. Of KBB's listed automakers, the Volkswagen Group got the most of out its customers, transaction prices rising at the German automaker by 5.6 percent to $42,243 in January 2018 compared to a year earlier. American Honda followed with a 4.3-percent increase to $28,991, GM in third at 4.1 percent to $40,313. Find your next car at Autoblog using our new and used car listings or the Car Finder tool. Broken out by segment, minivans rocked the table, transaction prices leaping by 7.9 percent to $35,380 compared to January a year earlier. Luxury cars boasted the next-highest rise, at 3.6 percent to $58,533.
GoPro learned to hoop from Meadowlark Lemon
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Wait, wait, wait. We promise that there's something to do with cars in this story. Really, there is. It also, though, features some basketball antics. And the entire thing is possible thanks to the magic that is the GoPro.
Strategically situated, the little cameras capture David Kalb, a master when it comes to making trick basketball shots. This time, he's showing just what he can do when launching balls through the sunroof of a Honda Civic. That includes dribbling and sinking a layup (although we think he may have traveled when driving to the net).
Take a look below for the video, and let us know what you think of Kalb's tricks down in Comments.
Hurricane Sandy cost automakers 15,000 vehicles, may have ruined up to 200k
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened.
Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200.
As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.
