2008 Honda Fit Sport Hatchback 4-door 1.5l 67,000 Miles Rebuilt Title on 2040-cars
Athens, Tennessee, United States
I am selling my 2008 honda fit SPORT... I bought another car so this one has to go ... very nice car ... sorry if the description is all over the place im trying to write it as it comes to me ... i know the guy who rebuilt the car and he did a great job... it was hooked to an rv and someone hit them barely from behind .. they replace front bumper ... back bumper .. and back hatch .. no structual damage or mechanical damage at all .. very easy fix for the guy that fixed it and I saved a bunch of money with the car having a rebuilt title (I have title signed in my name and I can write up a bill of sale if needed)... i just got the car serviced this morning and the air filter replaced ... i had it serviced every 3,000 miles for the time i owned it ... iv already put over 10,000 miles on it this year so far ... never had to fix anything on the car ever ... it is a 5 speed ... gets 37 mpg avg ... very fun to drive ... would make a good first car or someone looking for a more reliable car ... if there is any interest in a buy it now feel free to message me or text me ... NADA on the car is around 10,000$ minus around 20% for the rebuilt title then it should be worth between 7 to 8,000$ ... I am selling the car at NO RESERVE so winning bidder gets the car ... nothing at all wrong with the car ... just keep enjoying it ... I do still drive it daily so miles may go up a little riht now at 67,000 miles... does still have the RV attachment on it ... as you can see from the pictures I the carpet is a little worn on that one spot ... i just put a floor matt over it and never even knew it was there again ... the previous owner before me did smoke ... I do not smoke and after a month of driving the car the smell was gone ... it has cruise control ... the back seats fold flat which gives the car a lot of room and it is a very versatile car ... i have sold almost 400 items and have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence .. this is a great car im just downsizing and its time for the car to go to a new home ... the car does have some scrtaches from people getting in and out and me putting stuff in it and taking stuff out ... there is a small car door dent cant notice unless ur right up on the car a foot away from it and another ding thats even less noticeable ... has good tires as you can see ... just serviced ... id like to have a 500$ deposit through paypal right when the auction ends ... i can work with you on when you can come get the car ... remember bid with confidence and any questions just message me ... if anyone has cash and wants to buy the car they can text me or call and leave a voicemail 423 333 8155

Honda wins Commercial of the Decade, but not for the ad you think [w/VIDEO]
Fri, 18 Dec 2009Honda's Commercial of the Decade: "Grrr" - Click above to watch video
The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...
Weekly Recap: Car-pedestrian crashes remained elevated in 2014
Sat, Feb 28 2015The death of American Horror Story: Freak Show star Ben Woolf served as a reminder this week that car crashes involving pedestrians remain a problem, and a new study issued on Thursday reinforced that the situation isn't really getting better. The Governors Highway Safety Association found a slight decline, 2.8 percent, in the number of pedestrian deaths in the first six months of 2014. Fatalities dropped from 2,141 to 2,125 compared with the same period in 2013, though the association says it's a statistical wash when factoring in undercounting. Deaths are still 15-percent higher than in 2009. "The number of deaths remains relatively high and is cause for concern," wrote Allan Williams, who compiled the report and is the former chief scientist at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is the first look at data from last year, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will issue its full-year results later. The GHSA found some progress on the roadways, as 24 states and the District of Columbia reported drops in pedestrian deaths. In some states, the problem isn't even a problem at all: Nebraska and Wyoming reported one fatality apiece, though large population centers in urban areas are where most accidents occur. "This is a clearly a good news, bad news scenario," Jonathan Adkins, GHSA executive director, said in a statement. "While we're encouraged that pedestrian fatalities haven't increased over the past two years, progress has been slow." Other News & Notes Cadillac previews CT6 during Oscars Cadillac previewed its upcoming flagship sedan, the CT6, in commercials that aired Sunday during the Oscars. As expected, the creased sedan carries on Cadillac's recent design language, and the car in the commercial looks like a larger version of the CTS and ATS sedans. The CT6 will be revealed this spring at the New York Auto Show and launch late this year. It will be assembled at General Motors' Detroit-Hamtramck factory on a rear-wheel-drive chassis, and the CT6 is the first car to use Cadillac's revised alpha-numeric naming scheme. The commercials also kicked off Cadillac's "Dare Greatly" campaign, which is the first with its new advertising agency, Publicis Worldwide. Honda unexpectedly changes CEOs Honda unexpectedly announced this week that it will change CEOs. Current chief Takanobu Ito will step down in June and be replaced by company veteran Takahiro Hachigo.
Honda previews next-gen JDM Odyssey minivan
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Some automakers market the same cars around the world, while others offer different models - even under the same nameplate - for different markets. We're thinking of cars like the Volkswagen Passat or the previous Mazda6. Honda's been known to do so as well, with models like the Accord and Odyssey, which are completely different in North America than they are in other parts of the world.
Now Honda has provided the first glimpse at the Odyssey minivan it offers for the Japanese Domestic Market (as well as Europe and other parts of the world). Though more compact than the US-market version, the new overseas Odyssey appears larger than the model it replaces, with a taller roofline increasing interior space.
Though Honda hasn't released the model's full specifications, power is expected to come from a 2.4-liter inline-four mated to a continuously variable transmission. Beyond that, buyers will likely be able to choose between front- and all-wheel drive, two cabin layouts, two interior colors and seven or more exterior paints. The images also point towards blind-spot and auto-braking systems and an apparent eco mode. Although unconfirmed, we expect to see the new JDM Odyssey make its debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
