This is a very rare and unique Honda Element "X-Wave" conversion for wheelchair accessibility by Freedom Motors. With the touch of a button on the remote, the passenger doors open automatically and the ramp also automatically deploys. It is also a highly desirable "3/4 CUT" which leaves the OEM drivers seat intact from the factory for safety. This vehicle sold for just under $60,000 new in 2011. They are so rare that they are holding their value of up to $46,500 in the used market depending on the model, miles, condition and type of conversion and that is why this one is such a great value because it has it all! This is an EX model (vs the LX) which gives you the upgraded stereo with an MP3 plug in and 6 premium sound speakers. (the LX doesn't have an MP3 option and only has 4 speakers). In addition, the EX includes stylish Alloy wheels (as opposed to just steel wheels and hubcaps on the LX). This also has only 27,288 original miles, is a one owner, clear title, accident free, perfectly maintained, BRAND NEW TIRES, never smoked in, and as a Florida vehicle it has never seen a snowflake or road salt. All that to say, it's in very good to excellent condition. There are a few normal wear and tear cosmetic scratches on the passenger dash area and one scratch on the drivers side outside and a minor wear the size of a half dollar, but that's all cosmetically speaking. Mechanically, this vehicle is ready to go for years and years to come, it's a HONDA! Finally, this also comes with 4 Qstraint automatic retractable tie downs making the wheelchair passenger safe and secure while traveling.

Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).

Refreshed 2014 Honda Civic Coupe to bow at SEMA

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

Honda has announced plans to bring a refreshed, 2014 Honda Civic Coupe to the 2013 SEMA Show, set to kick off on November 5. Honda's struggles with the ninth-generation Civic have been widely publicized, and while the 2013 model year sedan has seen a significant overhaul, the two-door is now getting some additional enhancements for 2014.
Honda has released one teaser image of the Civic Si Coupe to go along with the announcement, but we can discern a few things. The Si Coupe now features a larger rear spoiler, along with a restyled, more aggressive rear bumper, complete with a diffuser. The taillights look smoked, and the wheels look larger than the current Si's alloys.
Besides those details, it looks like we'll be waiting until November 5 to see just what Honda has in store for the Civic. Take a look below for the full press release from Honda.

Toyota Camry, Honda Civic inventories mounting as US automakers make inroads

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Two of the hottest-selling cars in America aren't quite as hot as they used to be. The Toyota Camry and Honda Civic are both seeing dealer supplies increase in the face of renewed competition from the much-improved Detroit Three.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the Camry's dealer inventory is 15 days higher than its seasonal average, while the Civic is 25 days above average. Things aren't expected to get better for Toyota and Honda, as RBC Capital Markets analyst Joseph Spak marked the two Japanese offerings as "at risk for reduced output."
The Detroit Three, meanwhile, are seeing supplies dwindle as demand increases, especially for the Ford Fusion, which has seen an 18-percent increase in 2013 sales, and the Chevrolet Cruze, which was second only to the Camry in June 2013 sales.
