Vehicle purchased from reputable major dealer in the Dallas Texas area. Vehicle does have a cosmetic scratch here and there, as well as

a visible key mark the size of a 1/2 dollar on right hand side.  The vehicle has 2 and 1/4 doors for entry. Very unique versatile suv for
the college kid, retiree or avid outdoorsman. Plenty of versatility in moving cargo, luggages, and seating.  The vehicle has a minor crack on the front left bumper from a windstorm when driving home and striking minor debris.  The drivers seat has a minor tear that is sealed with
fabric guard, but will leave it to the new owner to replace seat or simply purchase a cover. The interior DVD player will either need replacement or a reconnection; after I replaced the stereo deck the connection to it was lost, but is a simple fix at a nearby audio service store of your choice. Everything is fully functional as well as the AUX power inputs in the front and 1 in the back of the vehicle for extra versatility.  Don't let the miles scare you, a HONDA will run forever as long as you maintain its service and fluid changes, and I have all
records of that. The miles are gentle easy highway miles commuting back and forth to work; I originally bough vehicle in Dec 2011, with approx 95,000 miles on it.  The vehicle struts will need to be replaced, which is why I'm offering such a low price, otherwise I will have to replace myself and build into price.

2014 Honda Odyssey gets some tidy tweaks [w/video]

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

Here in New York, Honda is offering up a refreshed version of its well-liked Odyssey minivan, bringing with it a slew of updates including the segment's first in-car vacuum. It looks to be a neat little feature, one that families will no doubt get a lot of use out of. Kids are spill-machines, after all.
On the outside, the Odyssey gets a revised front end with dark headlamp surrounds, shiny cross-bars in the grille, and an aluminum hood and bumper. We think the blacked-out grille trim looks fine on this charcoal model, but question how smart it will look on models with lighter paint tones. Out back, there are new LED taillamps, and it looks like a new wheel design will be on offer, too.
Other changes for the 2014 Odyssey include some structural reinforcements for improved safety and some new available nannies like lane-departure warning and forward collision warning. Inside, buyers will find new finishes inside the cabin, a redesigned center stack and pushbutton start. Scroll down for the full details in an official video and in Honda's press release, and have a look at new images live from the show floor in the gallery above.

Honda Civic overtakes Toyota Corolla as America's best-selling compact

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The battle to claim October's best-selling compact sedan title has been won by the Honda Civic. The Japanese four-door sold 27,328 units, leaving the Toyota Corolla - September's title holder - in its wake with 23,637 units sold. In terms of year-to-date sales, the Civic sits at 280,899 units, with the Corolla trailing at 257,184 vehicles.
Sitting in third place, separated by a significant gap from the leaders, is the Chevrolet Cruze with 16,087 units sold. The Ford Focus earned fourth, with 15,108 units moved out of showrooms. (It is interesting to note that while the Civic and Corolla have both enjoyed double-digit sales increases year-over-year, the Cruze and Focus have seen significant decreases during the same period.)
Sales of the Hyundai Elantra hit 14,876 units, putting it in fifth place, with the Volkswagen Jetta earning sixth place with 11,710 units. Rounding out the ten top sellers were the Nissan Sentra (8,399 units), Mazda3 (7,647 units), Dodge Dart (5,617 units) and Subaru Impreza/WRX (4,923 units). The Kia Forte (4,706 units) and Volkswagen Golf (2,249 units), eleventh and twelfth respectively, have fallen behind.

Is today's Honda Accord cheaper than it was back in 1989?

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

Whether you're shopping at the grocery story or on a car lot, everything seems to be getting more expensive these days. However, when all the factors are considered, that might be more an issue of perception than of fact. The American Public Media radio show Marketplace recently tackled the question whether modern vehicles were actually more expensive once you factored in important variables like inflation and cost of ownership. The result was pretty surprising.
For its example, Marketplace chose the Honda Accord, because in August, it was one of the bestselling vehicles in the US, with 51,075 of them sold. Winding back the clock 25 years to 1989, Honda's cheapest Accord cost $11,770, and that money bought you a stripped-out car with 98 horsepower, a manual gearbox, no air conditioning and hand-crank windows.
Fast-forward to present day, and a basic Accord starts at around $22,000 and gives buyers significantly more features, including a 185-hp engine, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, cruise control, more space, refinement and much better safety. By Marketplace's math, when just figuring for inflation, that modern Honda would cost about $11,500 a quarter century ago, despite all of that extra equipment. But that's just one factor. Scroll down to listen to the full report for an explanation of how cost of ownership figures into the mix, and whether it throws all of the calculations off.
