Condition: Excellent, a couple minor paint chips painted over by the dealer on the leading edge of the hood, other than this the paint is new all around the vehicle done by the dealer in 2013,
Features: Added Large Armrest for driver with belongings compartment, Window visors on the outside door for wind blockage, Towing Package/Lighting harness was installed into the lighting system, added Sheep skin cover for driver comfort, Pirelli Tires, and Eibach suspension and Gas shocks for stability control on the road, K&N Air filter with cleaning equipment included in the purchase. History: I am the original owner I have 2 cars, I purchased this vehicle in Lewisville at Bankston Honda, Have all the original Window Stickers and upgrades on the car. Shipping and Payment: You will have to arrange for pickup or shipping if you are out of state, and within Texas we could drive the car with 40 miles or you can come pick it up farther than 40 miles, would make an exception if you ask me and I agree. Owners Notes: This car is better than Factory Certified in my opinion all work has been done by Certified Dealers and Mechanics at Reputable Establishments, (No home grown Maintenance shops), I have Warrantee's on all work done by those establishments whenever the work was done to their warrantee (not my own), and they stand behind their work. This car has been given all new inside and out parts based on mileage, the engine is flawless in it's operation runs better than new. If you know anything about engines the older they are the better they get because of heating and cooling of the engine block, and if taken care of like this has been, can last as long as you need to drive it. Nice power, (better than most Elements) can handle rigorous driving if needed and does not need to be babied if you need the power it's there... This car was taken care of and at times the road and others as with any car has meet up with it, but those items were handled by qualified service agents at Certified Dealers and this car is in very good shape and sound Mechanically, visually, and structurally. Am taking best offer around what I'm asking. |

Honda next to open museum to Google Street View
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Had your fill of tooling around the Lamborghini Museum on Google Street View? Maybe Italian supercars aren't your thing? Then we've got good news, because The House That Ferruccio Built isn't the only automotive museum in cyberspace: now the Honda Collection Hall has opened its doors to the crew from Mountain View, too.
The Honda Collection Hall, for those who haven't made it out to Japan's Tochigi Prefecture, is a grand three-story museum dedicated to all things Honda. It's located at the Twin Ring Motegi, and has been open since 1998. Inside visitors will find everything from robots and scooters to SUVs and racing cars. But if you can't make it there in person, you can check out all three levels of floorspace on Street View right from the comfort of your home. Check out the images above and the interactive map below.
New Honda ad has Senna, Type R, Asimo, and astronauts
Mon, Aug 17 2015Now that Honda is back into the guts-and-performance game, automotively speaking, the Japanese company has hit the throttle on hardcore imagery. Its latest is in an ad for the company itself highlighting a small selection of its ample range of products, from motorcycles to an airplane and the coming Acura NSX, branded Honda in other markets. Called "Ignition," Wieden+Kennedy created the 90-second spot for Honda Motor Europe, with the tagline "Dare to do what others only dream of." The theme is a space launch, to give that "feeling of daring and human endeavor," perfectly supported by the print artwork with Asimo the robot up front and fabulously complicated hybrid V6 power units spewing flames from the Formula 1 cars in back. Then there's the family in the HR-V in the middle, defying gravity and sipping from juice boxes, because space is for everyone. Ayrton Senna makes a cameo again, and a Stanley Kubrick aesthetic hangs all over the production. You can check out the ad in the video above.
Honda marks 20 million vehicles made in the USA
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Japanese automakers manufacturing in the United States is nothing new. But it was in November of 1982 when the first Honda Accord rolled off the assembly line in Marysville, OH. It was the first Japanese vehicle assembled in the US, and in the nearly 32 years since, Honda has made 10 million Accords here for a total of 20 million cars manufactured in America - enough to span from New York to San Francisco twenty times. It's that double landmark which Honda is now celebrating.
Honda has come a long way in those three decades, keeping that original plant in Marysville on line while expanding to three more - in East Liberty, OH; Lincoln, AL; and Greensburg, IN - with a fifth plant (the Performance Manufacturing Center) opening on the same site in Marysville to build the Acura NSX next year. It also builds engines in Lincoln and in Anna, OH, and automatic transmissions at Russells Point, OH, and Tallapoosa, GA.
Between those seven sites, Honda produces 11 different models, including the Accord, Civic, Crosstour, CR-V, Pilot, Odyssey and Ridgeline as well as the Acura ILX, TL, RDX and MDX. Production keeps on ramping up as Honda produced a record 1.3 million vehicles in the US last year, 95 percent of which are sold in the US. Scope out the details in the press release below and click the image above to see it all laid out in a handy infographic.
