I bought this beautiful Honda Del Sol for my daughter 2 months ago and did a lot of work to make the car running and looking really good and now she wants a bigger car that has back seats.
There are a small amount of Del Sols available since they made them for 5 years and I know this car will be a collector vehicle very soon and price will only go up, Great Investment for you.
This is a fun sporty car to drive that gets 35 miles per gallon and surprisingly how roomy it is inside with lots of leg room.
I did all this work to the car so my daughter would have a trouble free vehicle for many miles and I know that Hondas are very dependable cars to drive and will last over 300,000 miles.
Whoever owns this car will be a lucky person.
I only spent $800.00 on a paint job without any body work so it still has a couple minor blemishes that can barely be seen and I color sanded and polished it so the paint looks like glass with no orange peel.
This is a 3 owner California car so there is no rust at all.
Never has been in an accident and all panels-hood-doors- fenders line up perfectly with the right amount of gap.
The trunk latch could use a little adjustment, since it sticks up a 1/4 of an inch on the back.
Also one of the old Owners had U-Hal install a small trailer hitch with brake light hookup so he could tow his seadoo.
The engine runs very strong and tight, transmission shifts nice and firm, there are no oil leaks or over heating issues; runs nice.

Honda recalls nearly 350k Odyssey minivans over unintended braking
Sun, 03 Nov 2013A problem reported with the Vehicle Safety Assist System has prompted Honda and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall for Odyssey minivans from the 2007 and 2008 model years.
The issue revolves around a combination of parts and software that have been reported to cause the vehicle to brake hard and unexpectedly, without illuminating the brake lights. Imagine driving behind one of these vehicles when the malfunction occurs and you can easily understand how an unexpected rear-end collision could ensue.
Unfortunately, Honda won't be able to fix the problem until next spring, at which point the manufacturer will call in the 344,187 units affected into their local dealership for a fix. In the meantime, Honda will instruct owners on how to avoid the situation. For further details, see the full recall notice below.
Honda Civic Tourer caught testing ahead of 2014 launch
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Honda showed off its Civic Tourer concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and at that time, we were told that a production version would be coming to market in the very near future. Obviously, the sleek lines of the concept car will be dumbed down slightly for consumers, but that doesn't mean the Civic wagon will be a bland machine. The Euro-spec Civic's angular front end looks like it will blend nicely with the rakish rump that we saw on the concept.
Our sources suggest that not only will the Civic Tourer be a class-leader in terms of cargo capacity, but it will likely be a pretty engaging car from behind the wheel, as well. Honda is hoping that the Tourer will account for roughly 20 percent of all European Civic sales after it goes on sale.
Expect to see the production car debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, with the first customers taking delivery in early 2014. In the meantime, have a look at the camouflaged swoopy wagon from all angles in our gallery above.
Honda, Subaru airlifting parts to bypass port labor diputes
Fri, Feb 6 2015It should be abundantly obvious that a vital element in building cars is actually having the components on hand to assemble them. A labor dispute on the West Coast between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and management is not making that quite so easy for some Japanese automakers. Work slowdowns at the ports have pushed Honda and Subaru parent Fuji Heavy Industries into flying some parts into the country. The two automakers began shipping by airplane late last month to avoid production delays, according to Bloomberg, but it has been an expensive solution. Subaru's chief financial officer said the decision cost around $60 million more per month than sending components by cargo ship. They aren't the only companies dealing with the problem, either. Toyota reportedly stopped overtime assembly at some of its factories here because of the delays in getting parts, according to Bloomberg. The dockworkers have been negotiating on a new contract since May 2014, and the current offer on the table to them has offered a 3 percent raise, according to Bloomberg. Although, the union is reportedly considering another slowdown at 29 ports along the West Coast in the coming days.
