Easton, Maryland, United States
Selling My 1996 Honda Civic Del Sol 5-speed. Im selling it because I own way to many cars now and work to much to enjoy it. Ive owned the car about 4 years, when I MD state inspected it .put about 20k on it, mostly to upstate NY n back down to MD because of the amazing gas millage. less then 500 miles put on in the past 2 years its been mostly under a car cover taken out every couple of weeks to keep things moving. 162643 on the odom . car runs great starts up every time never had any issues or left me on the side of the rd. reliable D16y7, has run Pennzoil for life of the car doesn’t leak or burn. Coolant is green no muck. No Honda surge idles great. No engine codes. TENZO Cold air intake, 7.5ml ignition wires. Car is painted cherry red with hand airbrushing grey shade scales , blue and white designs, clear coated. The side skirts to the body kit wire molded to the car before the paint. The body kit is 4 pc fiberglass with small damage on the front and rear Note that the round lamps (fog lamps) are not installed but are globes ready to install wiring. There are red LED bars under the dash and seats they are not hooked up right now. Suspension has been replaced all way round with lowering coil overs and struts, added to gas mileage (about 40 on highway) and handling. 17” wheels with low pro tires, passenger one looks like it could be replaced, I got an extra Ill throw in the trunk. There is a doughnut in the trunk that came with the car in there, ive never had to use it. Full exhaust DC headers cat back to a y-split welded dual cans, both cans are functional . 2 sets of taillights included. The black tinted lenses (OEM Honda)are in the car now one of them is flaked a little. In the trunk will be an additional set of OEM Honda lights that I had to buy to pass the car threw inspection. Interior is in great shape. Its black, black si style seats no rips. Power windows (rear window is power too) A/C (might need charging never used it always has the top off in hot weather) both of the rear storage boxes behind the seat lock with a key. There is a small cover missing from the drivers door handle, (NEW OEM Honda replacement) and I think the trunk release cable came off from the lever next to door jam. Haven’t had time to look at it trunk opens fine with key. The targa top hinged holding rack is still in the trunk and works fine. (take the roof with you and still use the trunk when you have it off) there is no carpet in the trunk bottom. the previous owner told me he was about to mold a fiberglass sub box in the bottom. feel free to ask any questions more pictures avail on request I am willing to deliver the car within reason for additional payment. contact for details. im sad to see the car go hope it finds a good home CAR IS SOLD AS IS WITH A CLEAN MARYLAND TITLE WITH NO LEANS. |

Honda's next-gen fuel cell concept will debut in LA, along with more Civic updates
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Honda is bringing a new concept to the this month's Los Angeles Auto Show called the FCEV Concept. "FCEV" stands for something, and no, it's not "funky chicken earns victory" or other such nonsense - it's short for fuel-cell electric vehicle, a market that Honda has played in, most recently, with its hydrogen-powered FCX Clarity.
The FCEV is nothing more than a styling exercise (click above to enlarge the sketch) for an eventual production fuel-cell vehicle set to hit US and Japanese dealers in 2015 (sorry Europe, you're stuck waiting). It's not heading to LA to tell us anything about the wider application of the technology used in the FCX Clarity, so fans of hydrogen power shouldn't get too excited. Still, the news that Honda is still pondering a wider-spread for its fuel-cell technology is quite exciting.
"The Honda FCEV Concept demonstrates the company's vision for the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing advanced alternative fuel vehicles. As we work toward the introduction of our next-generation fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, our long-term experience with fuel-cell technologies will help us pave a way towards a zero-emissions future," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda.

Honda NM4 concept motorcycles channel Akira
Fri, 21 Mar 2014Honda has rolled out a pair of new motorcycle concepts at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in its home market of Japan, and they're our first glimpse at the company's "neo-futuristic" NM4. Shown in both stealthy black and an eye-catching white, the NM4s are sharp creations that feature interesting riding positions.
Honda calls the concepts' seating "the cockpit position," claiming that it unifies bike with rider. We don't know about that, but we will admit that compared to most sportbike seats - which are more or less just bits of padding to squeeze between your legs - these bikes' saddles look more or less like conventional seats. Honda says that their backrests are adjustable, which should provide a comfortable riding experience. Still, with these bikes' sporting looks, we can't imagine their low seats are going to be great for dipping knees through the bends (although the should lower the center of gravity, so perhaps it's a wash).
Both show bikes, NM4-01 and NM4-02, are powered by 745-cc, two-cylinder engines, while dual-clutch transmissions are employed to dispatch unspecified amounts of power to their wide rear tires. The bikes are nearly identical save for different colors, but the NM4-02 features an integral set of hard panniers for increased utility. We've got a gallery of both, so hop up above and take a look. You can also scroll down for a brief press release from Honda.
