Altamonte Springs, Florida, United States
You are getting from me what you are expecting to get, I pride myself in being a honest seller that's why I'm describing the condition of this beautiful, hard to find, 4 door sedan Red 2009 Honda Civic si as accurate as possible. As an ex-auto transporter(car hauler) for many years I saw the faces of too many dissatisfied customers(buyers) when they received their vehicles due to condition issues.
This car runs and drives perfectly, I had a new clutch put on it and 2 new front tires. The interior is in inmaculate condition not one tear, broken, or burned marks on its seats, Missing driver side and rear floor mats(I'm in the process of buying them). There's some minor defects on the exterior, 2 dings on the right quater panel and 1 on the left. Scratch on the right and left fender, right rocker panel, on the rear spoiler a buffed burn that took some paint off. Small crack on the front fender under the left headlamp(1/2 inch.)At the time of listing of the vehicle the scratches were still on the car, they will be professionally touched painted. Everything works: Not a single warning light nor code flashing on the dash Sun roof Power windows, power locks Black with red trim seats am/fm cd radio air conditioner trunk opens from the key remote All weather rubber guard for the trunk 17" inch alloy wheels disc brakes, front & rear rear spoiler fog lights, daytime running lights. I encourage customers to find their own transporter to have the car shipped to them, but will gladly help an assist in having the vehicle shipped if customer needs. |

Acura NSX GT3 racecar bares all in raw carbon
Thu, Jul 7 2016Acura slowly and dramatically revealed the NSX over a period of years. There were previews, concepts, and lots of teases before Acura finally showed us the whole thing. It's a different story for the racecar. And today, the wraps come off the FIA GT3-spec NSX to show all of its bare-carbon glory. The NSX GT3 strips away more than just the paint from the standard road car. The racecar comes sans hybrid system, meaning all the power from the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 is sent solely to the rear wheels. Modifications to the body include a large rear wing, underbody diffuser, and bigger hood vents for engine cooling. While the hybrid system may be gone, the NSX GT3 uses the same block, heads, valvetrain, crankshaft, pistons, and dry sump lubrication system as the road car. Power is sent through a six-speed sequential gearbox instead of the road car's nine-speed. The NSX GT3 will be built alongside the street version in Ohio. Honda engineers in Japan and North America shared in the development. Final GT3 homologation will be completed by the company's Honda Performance Division in Santa Clarita, CA. Related video:
This is what Honda's new F1 engine will sound like
Fri, 18 Oct 2013It appears that not even the legendary pairing of McLaren and Honda can produce a 2015-regulation Formula One engine that sounds as good as the current V8s. Much like Mercedes-AMG Petronas, McLaren Honda have released a clip of their turbocharged, 1.6-liter V6 ahead of next season, and well, at least to our ears, it's not the sweetest of singers.
We've reported on concerns that the new engines wouldn't sound "right," after years of the high-revving V8s and V10s. The more we're hearing of these new engines, the more reasonable those worries seem. That said, we'll need to wait until we really hear these cars driven in anger to render a final verdict.
Scroll down to view the official press release from Honda and to hear what the future McLaren Honda will sound like when it hits the grid in 2015. For comparison, we've also included some on-board footage of Jenson Button's McLaren's V8 from last season.
Honda recalls nearly 10,000 new Civic models over pinched tires
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Honda is recalling some 9,816 Civic LX coupes and sedans from the 2014 model year due to a potential tire problem.
According to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice, the safety problem stems from an installation problem at a supplier, which may have caused the tire bead to become pinched between the steel wheel and the mounting equipment. As a result, tire beads may have been damaged, which could result in a loss of pressure, a condition that could lead to an increased accident risk, or at least an increased risk of being stranded and late for work.
Honda spokesperson Chris Martin tells Autoblog, "Only about 1,800 of that 9,800 have been sold because we caught it so quickly. The majority of them were in transit or unsold at dealers."
