For sale is my 2012 Honda Civic Si. This car currently has 24,020 miles, however, mileage may increase just slightly, as I drive this car around town. I am currently driving another vehicle, so mileage will not increase drastically. Purchased new in September 2012 from Piazza Honda of Philadelphia. I have been the only driver/owner of the car. Generally driven on the highway, driven by a female driver who drives very conservatively. Driven so conservatively, I was seeing between 31-34 MPG depending on the time of year. Engine number is : K24Z7-1020117. The color is taffeta white, interior is black with red trim. The car has NEVER been involved in ANY type of accident. The car is super clean with the exception of an extremely small stone chip along wheel well and another extremely small stone chip on hood. I have all of the maintenance records as well as all the documents from initial purchase of the car. Total vehicle price listed on the sheet was $23,145. 2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6MT
Fri, 21 Dec 2012One of the first cars I reviewed for Autoblog was - say it with me now - a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navi 6MT, perhaps the rarest of all modern Accord models. I mean, think about it: Of all the different Accord variants on the road, how many are coupes? And how many of those have the larger V6 engine? And how many of those are fully loaded with leather, navigation and all the trimmings? And finally, how many of those have option sheets where the only box that isn't checked is the automatic transmission?
That has to be something like one percent of one percent, right?
So when Honda started rolling its all-new 2013 Accord into the test fleet, I was happy to hear that yet another Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navi 6MT model was available out of the Detroit pool. And while this really isn't the car that serves as the control for judging the entire Accord line, it's still one heck of a sweetheart.
Newest version of Honda's ASIMO coming to TV on April 15
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Honda's ASIMO robot is moving into its teenage years, having originally been introduced in 2000, and like all teens, it's still learning. The bot has received regular incremental upgrades over that time, and the latest version will premiere on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on Tuesday, April 15.
The newest enhancements provide ASIMO with improved hand dexterity, the ability to use sign language, run faster, climb stars more smoothly, balance on one foot, jump and more. Honda says other new features will be demonstrated with hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on the show.
The ongoing development of ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, is being done so that one day it can help humans who require assistance. The current version is 4-feet, 3-inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and is made mostly from magnesium alloy and plastic. A big limit is still its lithium-ion battery that only provides 40 minutes of charge. The robot has not needed human control to move since a previous iteration in 2011, which also improved its manual dexterity. It could even pour drinks.
McLaren pondering Honda-powered 911 killer?
Tue, 21 May 2013As one of the premier sports cars in the world, the Porsche 911 is always driving around with a target on its rear-engined backside. If a new report is to be believed, the latest automaker with plans to build a 911-fighting sports coupe could be McLaren. Motor Trend is reporting that the recent news that Honda and McLaren are teaming up to build Formula One racecars could bear road-going fruit as well.
According to the article, the unnamed entry-level McLaren coupe may be powered by a Honda-sourced engine, but a detuned version of the 3.8-liter V8 from the MP4-12C is said to be more likely. All in, though, there is no solid information on the car just yet. As a reminder, M/T points out that the last time McLaren partnered up with a mainstream automaker, the world was introduced to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
