2002 Honda Civic Lx 4 Door Manual Transmission on 2040-cars
Portsmouth, Ohio, United States
2002 Honda Civic LX 4 Door No reserve LOCAL PICK UP ONLY Salvage Title Mileage: 237,270 ( Mileage may change if I have to drive it for any reason) I recently was promoted at work and they gave me a company car to drive back and forth, so I am selling my 2002 Honda civic with no reserve. It has been a great car for me but I can't pay for the insurance if I am not going to drive it. There are some small defects cosmetically such as: Rear driver's side door has paint missing on the plastic trim, on the Top of the trunk there is a small spot of rust, Back of trunk there is a dent with rust, Dent on passenger side rear door, Various surface scratches Rear windows don't work. Everything listed here is shown in the pictures. I have not had any problems out of the motor, I replaced the alternator a year ago and that's all I have done besides change the oil. I drive 52 miles a day and this car has saved me a truck load in gas. I live in southern Ohio and last winter it got to -10 to -15 for two weeks straight and this car started every time. It seems to me that it snowed at least 4 to 6" almost every other week and I never missed a day's work, this Honda went everywhere I needed it to go. I have done my best to describe the vehicle accurately, It has been a good car for me, However I make no guarantees and it is sold as is so please keep that in mind when bidding. I welcome all questions so please ask away. This car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the listing at anytime. |

Honda readying Veloster-rivaling concept for Beijing?
Tue, 08 Apr 2014Maybe the rumors of the CR-Z's death have been exaggerated. Honda has just released the first teaser of a new concept that it plans to debut at the Beijing Motor Show at the end of April. It shows off a sporty looking coupe that looks like the child of a CR-Z and Hyundai Veloster. However, the concept looks to be for the Chinese market, as it's a joint proposal with one of its domestic partners there, Guangqi Honda Automobile.
Unfortunately, we don't have any other details about the concept yet - not even a name. The teaser also doesn't give a very good indication of the car's size. It appears to be roughly the size of a small coupe, and if Honda hadn't already tried the idea with the CR-Z, you could almost see it as a modern CRX, but it could be a little bit larger, too.
In addition to the coupe concept at the Beijing show, Dongfeng Honda will premiere the concept for the next Spirior, which is the foreign version of the Accord. Guangqi Honda will also bring a mid-size SUV and the third-generation Fit. Acura will also be there and will have both the NSX Concept and a model of its powertrain. Scroll down for the full release about everything Honda will show in China.
One man's love of vintage Honda motorcycles spawns new museum
Mon, Jan 19 2015In 1977, David Silver got a Honda SS50 moped - it was the last year of unrestricted mopeds for riders just 16 years of age in the UK. That two-wheeler made him a fan, and starting his Honda parts business in 1986 made him a part of the Honda family. He started collecting, with the idea that he'd eventually open a museum. During a visit to another amateur collector's trove in Pennsylvania, the Brit got the chance to purchase the 125 bikes the American had gathered, and his museum aspirations hit the fast-forward button. He's in the process of building a proper home for the bikes in Suffolk, it should open later this year. There will be everything from the first Cub F engine that people could attach to bicycles in 1952, to two examples of the CB92 Benly Super Sport that showed how fast and how good a 125cc bike could be, to the first Fireblade that dropped in 1992 - our CBR 900RR, to the original Honda Dream. Honda says it could be one of the finest collections outside the company's museum in Japan. You can watch Silver tell his story in the video above, and there's more on what's he'll have in an article in Honda's Dream magazine. Honda gunning for world's longest Rose Parade float
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Honda has participated in the annual Rose Parade for the past 53 years and returns this year as the presenting sponsor for the fourth time running. But it's not satisfied merely putting its name on the event; Honda intends to lead from the front with what promises to be the longest float in the parade's long history.
The float, previewed in the rendering above, will measure 274 feet long, as tall as 30 feet high, as wide as 18 feet and weighing a whopping 50 tons with 8,980 flowers covering its surface. The train will be led by a locomotive designed to mimic the Acura NSX, with Asimo at the wheel. The second car in the train showcases a Honda engine, followed by a robotic arm, and, for the first time in the parade's history, a pair of 30-foot LED monitors displaying images of spectators lining the parade route. A caboose inspired by the Honda Jet will pick up the rear.
Oh, and in case you're wondering just who Honda will be knocking off the record books with its 274-foot train of roses, that would be... also Honda. The Japanese company set the record in 2005 with a 207-foot float. Scope out the details in the press release below and click the image above to view in high resolution.
