This add is for a 2000 Honda Civic DX with lots of custom options, It is a low mileage with only 88k miles, 5 speed manual, Sun roof, AM/FM Stereo CD with remote, custom paint job, Shaved door kit with keyless entry (keyless entry has a Car Alarm option as well but I didn't hook the Alarm Speaker, Alarm speaker will be included with the car, it is just not installed) ground effects, Under body Neon lights (one of the Neon lights is broken so it doesn't work but if u replace the broken Neon, it will work), It has a wing on the back hatch as well. It has ultra low profile 215/35/ZR18 Dunlop tires on 18" RIMs that have approximately 70% tread left on them still. The car is in great mechanical shape and cosmetically it is also in good condition. The clutch is brand new and was replace when the manual transmission was rebuilt less than a year ago. Rear wheel bearings and all brake pads were replace recently as well. I bought this car over four years ago and spent lot of money customizing it over the last 4 years, I have over $8500 invested in it but now since I have two young toddlers, I have grown out of these types of toy cars and now I m a mini Van type of practical dad :).
It also has a dual port custom exhaust system that I paid pretty penny for. I didn't do much modification to the engine ( although at one point I was going to install turbo on it) but it does have a custom air intake to improve the performance. It is faster with this air intake however it causes the check engine light to come on. Also air bag light is on and I think that is because the body shop that put custom bumper and ground effect kit on it, left the airbag sensor plug unplugged.
Over all it is a great running and good looking car. The clear coat on the roof however is starting to peel from a couple of places. This will be an excellent car for a young kid or someone who will turn it into a fast n furious drifter.
I have listed everything that I know about this car honestly. Feel free to ask me any specifics or any other detail that I might have missed. Just keep in mind that it is a year 2000 car and does have a normal wear and tear.
Buyer will be responsible for the shipping cost, I will help to facilitate in shipping within reason.
Low reserve so good luck and happy bidding everyone.
Feel free to contact me if u have any questions.

Honda exec says US market near capacity, could hurt subprime buyers
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Is there a point in the US auto industry where companies should start considering the welfare of their customers ahead of selling more cars? American Honda Executive Vice President of Sales John Mendel thinks that level exists, and we may be getting very close to it.
According to Automotive News, Mendel believes that finding more customers in the market could require pursuing subprime buyers and offering longer-term loans. However, he refuses to use those tactics. While selling models this way can improve things briefly, the strategies hurt resale prices and lower vehicle profits over time. The company won't do "stupid things in the short-term that damage the person who bought yesterday," he said to Automotive News. "It's a very, very short-term tactic especially in the subprime area."
American Honda, which combines the Acura and Honda brands, has seen market share decline from 9.7 percent to 9.1 percent through July 2014, according to Automotive News, and Autoblog's By the Numbers stats showed it posted falling sales in five of the seven months with data this year. Though, Mendel claims that was partially because the company focused on retail sales over fleets. The delays of the launches for the Honda Fit and Acura TLX likely didn't help either.
2014 Honda Accord Hybrid [w/video]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Delivering On Promises
The 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid should surprise no one. Its look is something we've seen since the non-hybrid versions went on sale last year. Its powertrain, mostly, we are familiar with from the already-on-sale Accord Plug-In model. And the overall vibe of the car? Well, it's an Accord, which has been a strong seller in the US for three decades, so much so that there's a very good chance you've been in one at some point, whether you noticed or not.
Honda's first attempt at an Accord Hybrid, released in 2005, put dynamic performance first, but it didn't match the public's maturing perception of what a hybrid is all about: fuel economy. The 2005 version was capable of a measly 28 miles per gallon combined, 25 in the city and 33 on the highway. Remember those numbers, and that the first-generation Accord Hybrid lasted all of three model years before being axed.
Honda's first production jet takes off from North Carolina
Mon, 30 Jun 2014Plenty of automakers have backgrounds in aircraft manufacturing. BMW, Bristol, Mitsubishi, Saab and Spyker all started out in the airplane business. But Honda is going the opposite direction, expanding its automotive (not to mention motorcycle, ATV, marine engine and power equipment) business with the launch of the HondaJet. And that project has just taken a big step forward.
After starting production a year and a half ago, the Japanese industrial giant recently completed its first customer HondaJet, and has now taken that initial production aircraft to the skies for its landmark first flight. The aircraft left the production facility in Greensboro and took off on Friday morning from Piedmont Triad International Airport in North Carolina - the same state where the Wright Brothers undertook their first flight over a century ago.
The HondaJet undertook an 84-minute test flight, climbing to 15,500 feet and reaching a speed of 348 knots. That works out to 400 miles per hour - assuredly faster than any Honda (save for maybe a prototype for the same aircraft) has traveled before. The aircraft is designed to cruise at a maximum of 420 knots (483 mph) and reach a maximum altitude of 43,000 feet.
