This will be a great first time car, or commuter car. The engine appears to be in very good mechanical condition. This vehicle runs great, and has alot of power. A/C blows ice cold (tested it in last summer). The tires appear to be in good shape as well. This vehicle comes with a clear Arizona title. I have not owned this vehicle for very long, but I have serviced it regularly. This was my first car- so I wanted it to look and drive good. First, I replaced the hood, due to dents/dings from the previous owner; I had to replace the windshield as well, because the previous owner had let the windshield wiper blades etch into it-- thus, making it a safety hazard to drive at night like that. The good news is, the next owner of this car will get a lifetime warranty on the windshield (I have the paperwork). The battery is a little on the low side, but I have all the necessary paperwork to get a free replacement, as it has a 2-year warranty. The sun visors are damaged, and may need replacing (see pics), the seats have wear and tear (drivers side has a few tears on it). I replaced the hood release handle with a 'T' handle (see pics), because the previous owner broke it. The car has a Alpine stereo, it supports: AM/FM, CD, USB, AUX, Mp3- the only problem is that the knob is missing from the previous owner, but it still works. Car has a few small dents/dings/scuffs. The car has tinted windows; the drivers side tint is damaged due to a window regulator not working properly- the window regulator was replaced with an OEM one from the dealer (about $94), and is now working perfectly. The back window tint is a little blurry, and may need replacing as well. The steering wheel has wear and tear (see pics). This car has been very reliable to me- I'm only selling this car to catch up on some bills... Local Arizona residents are encouraged to contact me for an appointment to see the car in person. Here is a list of work that was done on this car (I have most paperwork on hand): Emissions good until 01/01/2015 Alignment - Done in 2012 Replaced front axles - Done in 2012 Replaced catalytic converter - Done in 2012 Replaced Radiator assmembly, Radiator cap - Done in 2012 Replaced struts (front and rear) - Done in 2012 Replaced lower and upper control arms/bushings - Done in 2012 Replaced Rack & Pinion - Done in 2012 New rear brakes installed - Done in 2012 Power steering and A/C belts replaced - Done in 2012 Replaced head gasket (with OEM brand) - Done in 2014 Replaced timing belt/belt tesioner (mechanic said it guarantees another 100,000 miles on the car) - Done in 2014 Replaced water pump (with OEM brand) - Done in 2014 Replaced thermostat - Done in 2014 Replaced spark plugs - Done in 2014 All fluids topped off - Done in 2014 To view more pictures of this vehicle, go to: https://imageshack.com/a/nFYq/1
I try my best to get the important details of the vehicles body condition, though dings, scratches, rust, etc, in the vehicles paint and body are sometimes hard to photograph in my cellphone camera lens-- please understand that these imperfections may exist. A deposit of $200 is required within 2 days after auction close. Winning bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle. I accept Paypal, Money Order, and Cash in Person. Thanks for looking! |

Acura organizes new business division to confront falling sedan sales
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Honda and Acura North America have announced a major restructuring of operations in hopes of turning around Acura's flagging business. For 2013, sales for Acura's sedans dropped 10.4 percent, while its CUV sales grew by 21 percent. The newly formed Acura Business Planning Office will attempt to right the ship.
As part of the restructuring, Acura is promoting Erik Berkman from President of Honda R&D Americas to lead a new division called the Acura Business Planning Office. Berkman has been with Honda since 1982 and led development of the 2006 Accord. He was also the first US engineer to head North American research and development and has been head of Honda Performance Development since 2008. "Erik's appointment to the new Acura Business Planning Office is a clear indication of the high priority we place on Acura," said Honda spokesperson Jeffrey Smith to Automotive News.
American Honda Motor President and CEO Tetsuo Iwamura is also going to be working to improve the business. He has been elected chairman of American Honda's board, and has simultaneously taken the new position of Corporate Brand Officer to improve the management of the company's brands.
Honda, Subaru airlifting parts to bypass port labor diputes
Fri, Feb 6 2015It should be abundantly obvious that a vital element in building cars is actually having the components on hand to assemble them. A labor dispute on the West Coast between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and management is not making that quite so easy for some Japanese automakers. Work slowdowns at the ports have pushed Honda and Subaru parent Fuji Heavy Industries into flying some parts into the country. The two automakers began shipping by airplane late last month to avoid production delays, according to Bloomberg, but it has been an expensive solution. Subaru's chief financial officer said the decision cost around $60 million more per month than sending components by cargo ship. They aren't the only companies dealing with the problem, either. Toyota reportedly stopped overtime assembly at some of its factories here because of the delays in getting parts, according to Bloomberg. The dockworkers have been negotiating on a new contract since May 2014, and the current offer on the table to them has offered a 3 percent raise, according to Bloomberg. Although, the union is reportedly considering another slowdown at 29 ports along the West Coast in the coming days. Weekly Recap: Chrysler forges ahead with new name, same mission
Sat, Dec 20 2014Chrysler is history. Sort of. The 89-year-old automaker was absorbed into the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles conglomerate that officially launched this fall, and now the local operations will no longer use the Chrysler Group name. Instead, it's FCA US LLC. Catchy, eh? Here's what it means: The sign outside Chrysler's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters says FCA (which it already did) and obviously, all official documents use the new name, rather than Chrysler. That's about it. The executives, brands and location of the headquarters aren't changing. You'll still be able to buy a Chrysler 200. It's just made by FCA US LLC. This reinforces that FCA is one company going forward – the seventh largest automaker in the world – not a Fiat-Chrysler dual kingdom. While the move is symbolic, it is a conflicting moment for Detroiters, though nothing is really changing. Chrysler has been owned by someone else (Daimler, Cerberus) for the better part of two decades, but it still seemed like it was Chrysler in the traditional sense: A Big 3 automaker in Detroit. Now, it's clearly the US division of a multinational industrial empire; that's good thing for its future stability, but bittersweet nonetheless. Undoubtedly, it's an emotion that's also being felt at Fiat's Turin, Italy, headquarters as the company will no longer officially be called Fiat there. Digest that for a moment. What began in 1899 as the Societa Anonima Fabbrica Italiana di Automobili Torino – or FIAT – is now FCA Italy SpA. In a statement, FCA said the move "is intended to emphasize the fact that all group companies worldwide are part of a single organization." The new names are the latest changes orchestrated by CEO Sergio Marchionne, who continues to makeover FCA as an international automaker that has ties to its heritage – but isn't tied down by it. Everything from the planned spinoff of Ferrari, a new FCA headquarters in London and the pending demise of the Dodge Grand Caravan in 2016 has shown that the company is willing to move quickly, even if it's controversial. While renaming the United States and Italian divisions were the moves most likely to spur controversy, FCA said other regions across the globe will undergo similar name changes this year. Despite the mixed emotions, it's worth noting: The name of the merged company that oversees all of these far-flung units is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Obviously the Chrysler corporate name isn't completely history.
