1997 Honda Civic Runs Great on 2040-cars

Selling my 97 Honda Civic DX with 151,000 miles. It does need some work which is why i am only asking $1,400 OBO. The engine light is on and is throwing a code for the transmission solenoid. It runs and drives fine, but from a stop you have to put it in 2nd. Once you get moving above 5 mph you can shift into overdrive and it does great. I just had the starter and ignition coil replaced not even a week ago. I also purchased the wheel bearing for the driver front side, just haven't had the time to get it replaced. Pretty new tires. There are minor cosmetic issues as well, but it is a 97 and my asking price is well below the KBB fair condition price.

British Honda CR-V looks tough, gets diesel and 9-speed auto
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Honda just took the wraps off of its thoroughly updated 2015 CR-V for the US, with a touch more style and improved powertrain to provide more torque and better fuel economy. In our First Drive, we found that all of the changes really focused the CUV even more towards the desires of its audience of mostly families. European crossover shoppers don't have to wait too long to see these tweaks for themselves and get a few exclusive upgrades of their own.
While US models get a torquier gasoline engine, Europe loves its diesels. Therefore, the CR-V over there benefits from a more powerful 1.6-liter i-DTEC oil-burner that produces 158 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This new addition is only available on the four-wheel drive version, and it replaces the previous 2.2-liter diesel in the lineup. Also as opposed to the CVT here, there's now an optional nine-speed automatic gearbox across the pond.
According to Honda, the new diesel with a six-speed manual drops emissions by 11 percent compared to its predecessor. Opting for the nine-speed auto makes things 20 percent cleaner in contrast to the previous 2.2-liter CR-V with an auto.

2013 Honda Civic WTCC is ready for racing
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Drumming up a little excitement for the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship, Honda brought its new Civic WTCC car to the bright lights of Geneva for all to see. Honda joined WTCC late last year entering the final three races. The racing outfit will run this year's entire 12-round season, which kicks off later this month in Italy.
In the off-season, Honda made a few updates to its WTCC entry including better aerodynamics, improved suspension and braking and numerous engine and turbo enhancements. Two teams will field the new Civic racecar in this year's season: Honda Racing Team JAS and a private team from Hungary, Zeng"o Motorsport.
Fans of the WTCC in the US will be pleased to know that series makes a return visit to Sonoma Raceway on September 8 for the Race of the United States.
