Purchased 1989 Honda Civic in April of 2012 with 47000 original miles. New gaskets, radiator, tires, battery, timing belt,water pump, etc. extensive work for a car that sat for 13 years in storage. Drove for one year, needs head gasket replaced.
The cars interior is immaculate. see pictures for condition. Brand new radiator installed two weeks ago, mechanic told me then that the #1 cylinder has antifreeze. Its a beautiful car, its just that i am not mechanically inclined so I am selling.

Watch this LSR Honda Insight crash at 190 mph in the desert
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Like any form of motorsports, attempts at breaking land speed records are inherently dangerous. To wit: During a recent speed competition at El Mirage dry lake beds in southern California, racer Brian Gillespie and his first-gen Honda Insight crashed at nearly 190 miles per hour, and it was all caught on video.
According to the Southern California Timing Association website, which hosts the event, the weather was good and there was no wind on November 10, so it isn't clear what may have caused the crash. Despite the car being destroyed (including the entire front end being sheared off), Gillespie suffered only "minor injuries" and is recovering. The SCTA site does state that Gillespie managed to crack the 200-mile-per-hour mark in a previous run with a top speed of 200.9 mph, so congratulations to him on that! Honda pulling plug on slow-selling Insight hybrid

Insight hasn't amounted to even a tenth of Prius sales, and well over half of those sold were JDM.
It's been a rough ride for the Honda Insight, and now its journey appears to be at an end - word is that the five-door hybrid hatchback is going out of production.
