Red 1991 Honda CRX with JDM B16a engine, S1 Transmission, A.C.T. clutch, Skunk2 lowering, moog struts, hasport motor mounts, short shift, 17in Motegi Racing rims with new tires, and performance exhaust. Just flushed the transmission fluid and did a full synthetic oil change. Swap was done at 150,000 miles and the car has 178,000 miles. Like all JDM motors, they are imported to the U.S. with 30-40 thousand miles so you do the math on the motor. The interior is insanely mint for a CRX with minor defects. Little rust starting to bubble up on driver side rear quarter panel and the paint shows a drip on the passenger side where the painter over sprayed. I was going to fix both issues in the spring with a paint juob but now I'm selling. Hood is wavy like all CRX's. a Carbon fiber hood could fix that.

Honda Super Cub first vehicle to receive 3D trademark in Japan

The term "iconic" gets thrown around a lot, but if there was ever a design worthy of the honorific, surely it's the Honda Super Cub. That's not just our opinion, though: it's the official word from the Japanese Patent Office, which has recognized the classic scooter's shape with a three-dimensional trademark.
The category was introduced in Japan back in 1997 to immortalize distinctive designs, and is subject to very strict criteria. In fact, this marks the first time it has been applied to a vehicle - and one of the few industrial products to be awarded the recognition.
Little wonder it was applied to this little wonder, too. With over 87 million units made since its introduction in 1958, Honda claims the Super Cub to be "the world's largest selling vehicle," with production taking place at 15 factories in 14 countries and sales in 160 markets around the world.

Here in the land of Harleys and highways that stretch to infinity, Americans don't care much for sensible motorcycles. Unlike the majority of global bike buyers, North Americans tend to choose escape over utility, performance over practicality - that's simply how it's been done in the land of the free, at least until a funny thing happened on the way to the global recession.
As bank balances thinned and fuel prices crept skyward, sales of puffed up sportbikes and cartoonishly endowed cruisers plummeted. Americans rediscovered that motorcycles could be used for tasks like workaday commutes and trips to the grocery store, not just for riding into a Marlboro Man-approved sunset, fringe in tow.
