Submitted for your approval, a near factory-condition 1991 Honda CRX Si.

See a quick video of the vehicle here: http://youtu.be/GB9Jek-Rq1E

Perfectly maintained at a Honda dealer for the last eight years, maintained at various local shops meticulously for the previous 16 by the original owner.

Near factory-condition interior. No tears, cracks, splits, bumps, bruises, burns, nothing. It only shows some wear on the shifter and steering wheel from 24 years of light use.

Two of the only perfect, non-torn, undamaged, non-ripped, original, CRX Si seats left in the world. They've never been repaired or reupholstered, just shampooed when necessary.

All features work to factory standards, including the no-problems power sunroof, the ICE-cold air conditioning, and the original and SUPER RARE "Honda 1000" AM/FM radio and tape deck.

The ash tray has never once seen an ash, it was only the home to a couple of paper clips over the last couple of decades.

The rear cargo area, both the deck-lid and the storage compartment, are intact and in excellent condition. These alone are almost impossible to find!

The windshield does have pitting, but can be seen through perfectly when clean.

The hood is the only part of the car that needs attention. It has rock chips next to the "H" emblem and randomly on the hood itself, and the paint is actually beginning to wear a tad on the body lines of the hood. A fresh coat of paint on the hood will bring this vehicle back into 100% factory condition. Read that again!  Paint the hood and this car is back to 100% factory condition. Period.

As described in the condition, there are a few small dings (sunroof, P/S door, and hood.)

That's it for the negatives!

The pictures really do speak for themselves!

The UNICORN of the Honda world, the "Cherry" CRX Si, is nearly impossible to find anymore, and almost completely impossible to find with this low mileage

If you're considering buying a CRX, you had better not wait because you won't find one like this again. Believe me, I've worked for Honda 10 years, and this is the only one I've seen. I've never even come across a CRX that was remotely close to this condition!

Feel free to message for additional details or if you have any questions, and please consider the rarity of this vehicle! This is for collectors, tuners, or even commuters. It's been the most perfect car ever. I'm a bit biased as I have only owned CRX's since I was 16, but nevertheless, this car will be perfect for anyone!

Best sport sedans for 2022 and 2023

Thu, Nov 11 2021

SUVs dominate the car industry at every size and price level, but some people still prefer the looks, and more importantly, the performance and comfort, of the traditional sedan. With a lower ride height, lighter weight and generally smaller size, they often are much more fun to drive, and can even be more comfortable. Sport sedans of course lean harder on the performance side of things, and are among the best options for sheer speed and fun, thanks to those inherent characteristics. We've rounded up the ones in the segment that do the sporty dance better than any others in 2024 to give you a handy guide when you're shopping for one of your own. You'll find a wide array of cars here including gas, electric and hybrid powertrains. They'll have manual and automatic transmissions and drive the front, rear or all four wheels. Technically a few hatchbacks have slipped in, but they're close enough in look and feel that we wanted to include them. And excluding them means you might miss out on some of the best-driving options available. You wouldn't want that, would you? Alfa Romeo Giulia Why it stands out: Punchy four-cylinder; astounding power from Quadrifoglio; light and nimble character; awesome shift paddlesCould be better: Clunky infotainment; sub-par switchgear Read our Alfa Romeo Giulia review We start this list with one of the most predictable inclusions: the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Yes, it's a stereotype that the Italian sport sedan is fun to drive, but the fact is, well, it is. The Giulia comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 280 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful four-cylinders in the segment. It's paired with a snappy and smooth eight-speed transmission and either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.  The engine is lively and torquey, if a little short of revs, and the chassis feels super-light. The steering is eager and the car jumps into corners. We also highly recommend getting a version with the enormous and superb aluminum paddle shifters that make clicking through gears much more entertaining. And on the topic of the interior, it's attractive, but the various switches and knobs feels a little cheap, and the infotainment system is clunky. Of course there's also the incredible Giulia Quadrifoglio at the high end. It gets a Ferrari-derived twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 making 505 hp, and it's rear-wheel drive only.

Watch this LSR Honda Insight crash at 190 mph in the desert

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Like any form of motorsports, attempts at breaking land speed records are inherently dangerous. To wit: During a recent speed competition at El Mirage dry lake beds in southern California, racer Brian Gillespie and his first-gen Honda Insight crashed at nearly 190 miles per hour, and it was all caught on video.
According to the Southern California Timing Association website, which hosts the event, the weather was good and there was no wind on November 10, so it isn't clear what may have caused the crash. Despite the car being destroyed (including the entire front end being sheared off), Gillespie suffered only "minor injuries" and is recovering. The SCTA site does state that Gillespie managed to crack the 200-mile-per-hour mark in a previous run with a top speed of 200.9 mph, so congratulations to him on that! Scroll down to watch the horrifying crash.

Next Honda Ridgeline to eschew weird visuals, go mainstream?

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Last year, Honda gave us the first furtive glance at the next-generation Ridgeline with a shadowy photo of it in profile (above), and it promised that the pickup would "come to market in less than two years." That would have put the truck on track for a 2015 debut, but the automaker hasn't said anything more officially about the new model since then.
A new report from USA Today might shed some new light on the mysterious model. It claims that the next Ridgeline has more conventional pickup styling than the original model in a bid to conquest some buyers. You can get that feeling from the sketch, which appears to showing something far more traditional than the unorthodox original Ridgeline, whose odd tapering bedsides terminated in a double-hinged tailgate.
USA Today goes on to claim that the new Ridgeline will go on sale around late 2015 or early 2016. That's a bit later than expected, but fits with an earlier rumor.
