1989 Honda Crx Si Coupe 2-door 1.6l on 2040-cars
East Moline, Illinois, United States
'Body is a bit rough, but nothing some body shop work won't fix.
Cosmetic needs include: -driver's side rocker panel and side view mirror -driver's side window crank handle, front drivers side turn signal light housing (lights work, but housing is broken-exposing the bulbs. -temperature control console/knob -driver's side sunroof bolt ((sunroof motor works fine))' Does need a drivers side belt buckle and tires/shocks all around as well as a flange gasket down in the exhaust. (the car is loud) Both front seats are taped with scotch tape at a few tears as of now. 2 door, zippy little car for sale. 1.6 liter motor, 5 speed manual transmission. Awesome gas mileage. Aftermarket stereo deck with auxiliary port. This car has definite potential with the right person. Very reliable. Very fun to drive and work on. The well known reliability itself in Honda automobiles can testify for this car. Car pickup is responsibility of buyer OR I am willing to personally deliver the car, at an extra cost that would pay for gas, time and (depending on distance of delivery)new tires and shocks. PM me if you have any questions. I accept paypal. Again, PM me with any questions or concerns about the vehicle/payment. |

Honda marks 20 million vehicles made in the USA
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Japanese automakers manufacturing in the United States is nothing new. But it was in November of 1982 when the first Honda Accord rolled off the assembly line in Marysville, OH. It was the first Japanese vehicle assembled in the US, and in the nearly 32 years since, Honda has made 10 million Accords here for a total of 20 million cars manufactured in America - enough to span from New York to San Francisco twenty times. It's that double landmark which Honda is now celebrating.
Honda has come a long way in those three decades, keeping that original plant in Marysville on line while expanding to three more - in East Liberty, OH; Lincoln, AL; and Greensburg, IN - with a fifth plant (the Performance Manufacturing Center) opening on the same site in Marysville to build the Acura NSX next year. It also builds engines in Lincoln and in Anna, OH, and automatic transmissions at Russells Point, OH, and Tallapoosa, GA.
Between those seven sites, Honda produces 11 different models, including the Accord, Civic, Crosstour, CR-V, Pilot, Odyssey and Ridgeline as well as the Acura ILX, TL, RDX and MDX. Production keeps on ramping up as Honda produced a record 1.3 million vehicles in the US last year, 95 percent of which are sold in the US. Scope out the details in the press release below and click the image above to see it all laid out in a handy infographic.
Honda confirms 2014 Odyssey and Acura MDX for New York
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Look beneath the seats of a Honda Odyssey and you'll likely find a handful of that iconic loop cereal loved by toddlers nationwide. And to show that Honda understands its minivan's target market, it is using the breakfast staple to announce its plans to reveal the updated 2014 model at next week's New York Auto Show. While the announcement is creative, it unfortunately lacks much in the way of information, leaving us with little more than a vague teaser alluding to "some innovative new features."
As expected, Honda has also confirmed we will see the production version of the 2014 Acura MDX in New York. We expect the 2014 MDX to look very much like the prototype we saw in January at the Detroit Auto Show with only slight differences. The 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 will be offered with all-wheel drive or, in a first for MDX, front-wheel drive.
You'll find the official press snippets for both below, and we'll have live images and details on both from the New York show. Until then... Cheerio!
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
