Ive owned the car for 6 years all garage kept. I believe I am the 3rd owner of the car from what I can tell from the sales and service records. It was bought new in New Mexico
then owner moved to Nashville. So no rust what so ever on body. It still has the window sticker (see pic). I bought the car in Etowah, TN (outside Chattanooga). Ive put about 15k miles on the car.
The car runs and drives strong always has. Its in pretty great condition but not perfect and almost completely original.
The almost is the previous owner at some point had a roll bar installed very well done the roll bar (see pics). Why it was put in I don't know. I think the car is far too clean and in great condition to have been raced. Maybe a nervous father had it put it in don't know.
The car has been very reliable everything works the air, the rear wiper, sunroof you name it and has never needed any major work only normal wear and tear. Below is a list of all the things done to the car since Ive owned it.
New gas tank 2007
New front axles 2008
New radiator 2010
New starter 2010
New front tires and all 4 struts replaced last Sept.
New plug wires and distributor cap last Oct.
Oil has always been changed every 2000 miles and I have always only used Pure Gasoline--No Ethanol. It has always passed emissions here in TN.
I put a new stereo in it CD/MP3 but I still have the original cassette stereo it came with if you care.
The Bad
Needs a new muffler (see pic)
Rust spots on inner edge of sunroof (see pic) though it has never leaked
The paint job isn't perfect by any means. Previous owner had it repainted original yellow. I don't think they did such a great job a couple bubbles on top of sunroof. Its a stunner from 10 feet away.
Pretty big hole in driver seat so needs a new one. Passenger seat is fine.
Small oil leak from underneath not sure where from.
Hatch leaks a little but not bad
You can message me through e-bay or e-mail me at ledlvr2002@yahoo.com if you have any questions or want to see more pics or whatever. My name is Chad.

Recharge Wrap-up: Honda FCV Concept comes to Detroit, Toyota seeks young green energy fellows
Thu, Dec 18 2014Honda will bring its FCV Concept to the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. The hydrogen-powered concept made its Japanese debut in November, and will now make its way to North America for the first time. The FCV concept improves upon the design of the FCX Clarity with a more striking appearance and roomier interior. Its smaller powertrain packaging means more space for people, and the FCV Concept seats five passengers. Honda also expects the next-generation fuel-cell car, which is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in March 2016, to cost less and have a range of over 300 miles. Read more in the press release below. The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive has been awarded an environmental certificate from the TUV Sud technical inspection authority. The certificate is based not just on the vehicle's operation, but the entire lifecycle of the car, including production and recycling. The B-Class Electric Drive produces 24 percent less CO2 over its lifecycle than the Mercedes-Benz B180 when using the EU electricity mix, and 64 percent less when powered by hydroelectricity. Mercedes credits not just the use of electricity, but also the car's energy management system - such as its radar-based regenerative braking - for its carbon reductions. Read more in the press release below. Scania will test a wirelessly charged plug-in hybrid bus in Sweden. Beginning in June 2016, the bus will be put to daily use in Sodertalje. One of its stops will have a wireless charging station where the bus will recharge for six to seven minutes before continuing on its route again. The charger is located under the road surface and the bus positions itself above it to charge inductively. About $1.3 million will come from the Swedish Energy Agency to fund the test project, which could save up to 90 percent of fuel costs. If expanded to a fleet of 2,000 buses, it could save up to 13 million gallons of fuel each year. Read more at Green Car Congress, and in the press release below. Sandia National Laboratories and Linde are teaming up to expand hydrogen fueling infrastructure. The two groups have signed an agreement to research and develop new hydrogen stations, as well as ways to make fuel cell vehicles more desirable for consumers. They are looking at ways to incorporate hydrogen into existing fuel stations where possible, and make sure that it is able to be done safely.
Honda planning sub-NSX S2000 successor
Tue, 13 May 2014Nine years separated the arrival of the original Acura NSX and the Honda S2000. By that time, the NSX was closer to the end of its fifteen-year production cycle than it was to its beginning. The latest word has it that not only is Honda planning a successor to the S2000, but it's not about to wait that long after the new NSX arrives before it's rolled out.
While the S2000 was a front-mid-engined roadster, its successor will, according to the latest from Auto Express (which we are taking with a grain of salt), be a mid-engined coupe - closer, in other words, to the NSX than the S2000. Power would come from a more potent version of the 2.0-liter turbo four developed for the upcoming new Civic Type R, possibly as part of a hybrid system derived from Honda's upcoming Formula One powertain to develop over 400 horsepower.
Whether the new sports car would revive the S2000 nameplate, and whether it would wear the Honda or Acura badge in the United States, remain to be seen. As does its potential production site: while the previous S2000 was built at the same Takanezawa plant in Tochigi as the original NSX, the new NSX will be built at the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio. The new S660 roadster, meanwhile, is set to be assembled at the same Yachiyo plant in Yokkaichi as the original Honda Beat.
Honda takes us through 50 years of automobiles in 60 seconds
Fri, 12 Jul 2013Honda's wonderfully simple, fun ads are not in short supply right now. We showed you Hands, the followup to 2003's The Cog, last week. If you haven't had a chance to look at those two great videos, we strongly encourage you to head over that way and give them a watch.
The latest minute-long commercial is a bit more dear, though. And while it may be in Japanese, it's still a cool look back at Honda and its car-building history.
This is also a great video if you're a fan of odd, vintage Japanese vehicles. Honda's T360 and a few old Civics are featured heavily, although we can't help but notice that a few very big names are missing. Where's the NSX or the S2000? How about the original Insight, a car so revolutionary it still has a cult following today? Honda has made some great cars, we just wish it'd show off more of them. Check out the video below.
