2001 Honda Cr-v Se Sport Utility 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Buffalo, New York, United States
NO RESERVE The car is located in West Seneca, NY 14224 a few minutes away from downtown Buffalo. Car is for local pickup only. I prefer cash in person as payment. I have a clean and clear title ready to sign over. I bought this car before winter because of the all wheel drive. I have a front wheel drive Honda Element and always wanted something AWD to try out. We got hammered with snow this winter and I didn't have any garage space to fix the few things it needed before I put it on the road. I was also working too much that I just never got around to it. I'm also going to be moving soon so I just need to part ways with the car. The car is far from perfect as you can see from the pictures. It has rust and rot on the rear quarters. Various paint chips and scratches. A rust bubble on the hood. It doesn't have any major damage though. The interior is pretty nice. Nothing is really broken or worn out. The leather is in good shape. The carpet is nice too. Keep in mind I didn't even vacuum or clean anything inside or outside of this car. The driver and passenger windows don't go up or down I think the motors are worn out. The one rear door also won't open. The handle moves I think something came disconnected inside the door. Everything else on the inside works. The car starts right up no matter how long it sits. It has a brand new battery. Even when we had constant negative temperatures here. It also has a brand new matching set of all 4 tires for the AWD system. Two of the old tires had plenty of tread and are sitting in the hatch. They will come with the car. When I bought the car it had two codes for a check engine light. They are P0138 and P1457. I cleared them with my scanner to see how long it would take them to come back. The check engine light was one of the things I was going to fix before I put it on the road. The check engine light hasn't come back on yet but I haven't driven the car much. I'd assume once you start driving it the codes will come back. The car still runs and drives fine. No rough idle or lack of power. The transmission shifts good and the AWD works perfect. The upper ball joints are making noise and definitely need to be replaced. The brakes make a little noise from sitting but they usually clear up every time I drive it. The car stops good. No other warning lights are illuminated on the dash. The previous owner had the timing belt and water pump replaced less than two years ago. March of 2012 the invoice is dated. All belts and a motor mount were replaced at the same time. The total cost was almost $900 on the receipt. I have two keys and two key fobs that both work. I just want to sell the car so I am going to list it with no reserve. If you want to get a hold of me you can E-mail or call/text me at 716-997-4849 with any questions. If you want to make a buy it now offer I am all ears. Here is a little video of the car also: http://youtu.be/cbkE2Uxn6iE |

Honda Jazz looks like a good fit for Paris
Wed, 17 Sep 2014The quirky, utilitarian little hatchback that we know as the Honda Fit in the US carries the more melodious Jazz name in Europe. And while the newest Fit is already on sale in our market, folks are still waiting for it across the pond. Honda is unveiling its new Jazz Prototype to the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, and it's nearly identical to what is currently on sale in North America. In fact, it's hard to image Honda changing much from this "prototype" before launching it for Europeans.
The Jazz's design is exactly what you would expect after even a glance at the current North American Fit. Except for a different wing at the rear, a shark fin antenna and a new set of wheels, this Jazz plays the same tune we've heard before.
The one thing keeping the Fit and Jazz from truly being identical siblings is that the European model packs Honda's new 1.3-liter i-VTEC Earth Dreams engine under the hood, rather than the 1.5-liter used in North America. But just like our Fit, the Jazz will be available with a six-speed manual or CVT. The Japanese automaker says that the Jazz goes on sale in the summer of 2015. Scroll down to read the company's announcement for its upcoming hatch.
2015 Honda Fit set for Detroit reveal
Thu, 19 Dec 2013We've got one more debut confirmed for next month's Detroit Auto Show, as Honda has announced that it will be showing off the 2015 Fit in the Motor City. Honda has released a singular image of the new Fit's rear taillight, above.
From the sole image, we can see that the American-spec Fit will share at least its taillights with the Japanese variant, which we've helpfully included an image of to the right. Now, technically, the blue car to the right is the Fit Hybrid, a car we aren't expecting to see in the US market. But the gallery of images we've included below should give those interested in the car a very good idea of what the new Fit will look like when it hits the auto show stage next month.
As for what will be under hood when it debuts in January, Honda is touting its Earth Dreams Technology engine, which we take to mean some sort of four-cylinder, gas-powered mill. Expect excellent fuel economy from the new car, and according to the Japanese brand, "leading-edge connected car technologies."
2014 Honda Accord Hybrid [w/video]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Delivering On Promises
The 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid should surprise no one. Its look is something we've seen since the non-hybrid versions went on sale last year. Its powertrain, mostly, we are familiar with from the already-on-sale Accord Plug-In model. And the overall vibe of the car? Well, it's an Accord, which has been a strong seller in the US for three decades, so much so that there's a very good chance you've been in one at some point, whether you noticed or not.
Honda's first attempt at an Accord Hybrid, released in 2005, put dynamic performance first, but it didn't match the public's maturing perception of what a hybrid is all about: fuel economy. The 2005 version was capable of a measly 28 miles per gallon combined, 25 in the city and 33 on the highway. Remember those numbers, and that the first-generation Accord Hybrid lasted all of three model years before being axed.
