1999 Honda Crv Cr-v Ex Awd Great Condition No Repairs Needed!! on 2040-cars
Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States
I'm selling my 1999 Honda CRV EX AWD. This CRV is an automatic, all
wheel drive, has power windows, power locks, keyless entry, A/C, heater
blows hot air, cruise control, CD player, has a clear title, etc. Within
the last 10,000 miles, the following items have been replaced by a
certified technician:
Timing belt, drive belts, drive belt tensioner, water pump and coolant Driveshaft Transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, power steering fluid and brake fluid All four tires Front brake pads and rotors Distributor cap rotor plug wires and spark plugs Valve adjustment and idle air adjustment Front lower ball joints Front strut assemblies Stabilizer links and bushings Headlight lens restoration Only reason I'm selling the CRV is because I'm looking to purchase a new one. There is nothing wrong with this CRV and does not have a single oil leak or any leak for that matter. There are a few very minor rust spots which are cosmetic only. I drive the vehicle every day so the mileage will go up. Don't bother low balling me because I don't have to sell. I realize other CRVs on Craigslist or eBay may be slightly less but I know for a fact not many are in this clean of condition cosmetically and especially mechanically. Any reasonable offer will be considered. CLEAN WISCONSIN TITLE. Would be an excellent vehicle for anyone to drive in this weather as it handles excellent in snow. Stay away from the 02-06 CRVs as most of their entire A/C systems do not work and suspension issues (check on the internet). Email me with a phone number if interested or text/call. CRV is located in Green Bay. Just remember what else is out there and what you're getting for a lower price; you're getting leaks, rattles, clunks, and recently people complaining about others rolling back odometers which is illegal. Buy this CRV and have no issues. If you don't want to pay $3,995 cash this vehicle is not for you. |

Takata airbag recalls add another 5 million vehicles
Fri, May 15 2015The Takata airbag inflator recall expanded by about 6.5 million vehicles recently when Toyota and Nissan announced global expansions to replace the faulty parts. You can add another 5 million more as Honda and Daihatsu also broaden their replacement campaigns. Although in this latest case, none of the affected models are in the United States or Canada. Honda is recalling 4.89 million more vehicles globally, and Daihatsu has about 260,000 to repair in Japan, according to Automotive News. With these latest expansions, all of the affected automakers have needed to fix about 36 million vehicles globally for these faulty airbags since 2008. Some of the first instances of these problems were found in an Isuzu campaign in 2001. This latest round of recalls was sparked by a study from Takata that found the inflators' propellant could be affected by moisture over time. While the automakers received this information in March, it took time to determine the number of vehicles in need of repair and where they were located, according to Automotive News. To make sure all of the affected vehicles in the US are repaired in a timely fashion, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is reportedly considering a strategy to force things to speed up. Honda and Toyota are already using outside suppliers for the parts they need. Honda Urban SUV concept previews Fit-based crossover
Mon, 14 Jan 2013We've been hearing a lot of rumblings this year about a new crossover based on the Honda Fit, and now we finally get to see what this B-segment CUV might look like. Called the Urban SUV Concept, Honda's new small crossover has made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show, but we'll have to wait until 2014 to see the production version on sale in the US. Honda says the production version of this concept, whatever it will be called, will slot below the CR-V in terms of size and price.
In terms of this concept's styling, there is plenty of the new Honda Accord in its face, and it looks like a more rugged version of the Nissan Juke, as well as a more practical alternative to the Hyundai Veloster. With its short overhangs, the concept measures 169.3 inches in length, making it about eight inches longer than a Fit hatchback and nine inches shorter than the CR-V. Honda confirmed that its new crossover will debut a telematics system for Honda, and it will use one of Honda's new Earth Dreams engines; we previously reported that this engine would be a 1.5-liter I4 paired with a continuously variable transmission.
The next-generation Fit is expected to debut before this new crossover model, and both models will be built at Honda's Celaya, Mexico assembly plant, which is scheduled to open early next year. A new sedan is also expected to round out the lineup of Fit-based products. For more information about this new Urban SUV Concept, scroll down for Honda's official press release.
Honda Recalling 900,000 Odyssey Minivans
Mon, Mar 17 2014DETROIT (AP) - Honda Motor Co. is recalling 886,815 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. because a fuel pump cover can deteriorate and cause a fuel leak. Odysseys from 2005 through 2010 model years are involved. The recalled minivans were made between June 23, 2004, and September 4, 2010. According to documents posted Saturday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the cover on the fuel pump strainer can wear down from exposure to high temperatures and acidic chemicals, like those found in fertilizers. Fuel leaks can cause a vehicle fire. Honda says no fires or injuries have been reported. Honda dealers will repair the vehicles for free, but the company says replacement parts may not be available until this summer. It will notify owners of the recall next month.
