A one owner fully loaded Accord,I purchased this car from a freind who was the original owner,  for my daughter,  who later decided to keep her car. As I bought this car from my freind, I can attest that he always took meticulas care of this car, all highway miles, always serviced by Honda, all maintenance done by the book. My friend also installed a light duty hitch for a bicycle carrier, car was never towed with.  I hate to sell it, but don't have a use for it. I have all the original glovebox manuals and window sticker, 2 sets original keys, valet key, lock key for wheels. Car is in great condition overall, especially given my selling price.

I just finished all of the following work as I had not planned on selling this car: new windshield, new spark plugs, new air filter, new radiator and heater hoses, antifreeze, radiator cap, new hood lifts, new Firestone Indy 500 tires, oil change with filter, new wipers, complete inspection by my mechanic.

As I said this car was always serviced by Honda, here are the major maintenance items completed recently: Tranmission service/front end alignment at 231,585 miles; new battery 10/12;new timing belt and thermostat at 192,000 miles - not due again until 297,000 miles; new front rotors and pads at 212,000 miles, new rear rotors and pads at 218,000 miles, new fan belt.

This car drives as close to a new car as you can get, eveything works including navigation, ice cold AC, all controls and windows, quite motor, no rattles, tight car , etc. Also, a rust free, always garaged car. Car is fully detailed ready to go! Also, all factory floor mats are included, I have front mats protected by a new set of rubber floor mats.Passed NJ inspection.

TERMS: AS NICE AS THIS CAR IS, IT IS STILL A USED CAR. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO WARRANTY, NO RETURNS. $500 PAYPAL DEPOSIT DUE WITH 24 HOURS, BALANCE EITHER CASH IN PERSON OR WIRE TRANSFER, NO CHECKS. CAR WILL BE CLEARED TO LEAVE AFTER ALL FUNDS CLEAR, I HAVE A CLEAN NJ TITLE. EXPECT NORMAL WEAR FOR A CAR OF THIS AGE AND MILEAGE. INSPECT CAR IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS BEFORE YOU BID. Honda fielding 11 entrants at Pikes Peak, including 532-hp Odyssey

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

Is it possible for a minivan to be more exciting than an Acura NSX? Well, Honda is trying to find out by entering a 532-horsepower Odyssey into the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with IndyCar racer Simon Pagenaud behind the wheel.
Starting with a stock Odyssey, Honda dropped in a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 producing an estimated 532 hp and 460 pound-feet of torque as well as racing suspension, tires and brakes and one of the biggest roll cages you're likely to ever see. If this van looks familiar to you, you aren't alone - it's a veteran of the Tire Rack One Lap of America.
In addition to this super minivan, Honda will also be entering a first-gen NSX, CR-Z hybrid, Fit EV and Acura TL into the competition as well as five motorcycles and an all-terrain vehicle. Scroll down for the full details on Honda's comprehensive assault on Pikes Peak.

NHTSA investigating 550k Pontiac G6 models, 320k Honda Odysseys

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

According to two separate reports in The Detroit News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching investigations into 550,000 Pontiac G6 (pictured above) and 320,000 Honda Odyssey (pictured right) models. The G6 models are all from the 2005 to 2007 model years, while the Odyssey minivans are from the 2003 and 2004 model years. The two NHTSA probes are not related.
In the case of the G6, this is an upgrade to an original investigation that started in February after NHTSA received "hundreds of reports" that the brake lights on these cars may malfunction. According to The Detroit News, the lights may come on when the brake pedal is not depressed, and likewise, the brake lights may not illuminate when the pedal has been pushed. General Motors was able to provide NHTSA with a significant number of warranty claims, including 1,100 reports that could potentially relate to this problem, one of which indicates a vehicle crash.
For Honda, the NHTSA probe concerns airbags that may deploy unexpectedly. The government agency received six complaints from 2003-04 Odyssey owners saying that the front airbags suddenly went off without a crash. The Detroit News reports that three of the six owners sustained injuries from these incidents. Additionally, NHTSA has received 41 complaints from owners saying the vehicle's airbag warning light had illuminated.

Honda shows facelifted Euro Civic hatch with new Sport variant

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

Honda has released the details on its freshened Euro-spec Civic ahead of its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, whose media days are set to open next week. Aside from a fairly pleasant visual upgrade for both the standard Civic as well as the Civic Tourer, Paris will also see the arrival of a new Civic Sport model.
The new Civic wears a sportier front fascia, while the rear end is home to a new, stylish set of LED taillights. Honda has also revised the rear bumper, side skirts and spoiler. In the cabin, a new, Android-powered infotainment system called Honda Connect takes its place in the center stack, providing typical functions like radio, media, navigation and Bluetooth, as well as the ability to browse the Internet. The entire system is confined by a seven-inch display that offers pinch, swipe and tap functions that should be familiar to smartphone owners.
The big news, though, is the new Sport model (shown above). While this isn't a Civic Type R - with its 1.8-liter, 140-horsepower engine, it's not even a decaf Type R - it does deliver some more aggressive looks to the Civic line. There are standard 17-inch wheels, as well as a new, sportier Type R-inspired front fascia and a color-coded rear spoiler. Alongside that 1.8-liter gas engine is a 118-hp diesel mill that displaces 1.6 liters.
