2006 Honda Accord Exl Fully Loaded With Tech Package on 2040-cars
Webster, New York, United States
My name is Aaron DiCicco. I am In the process of purchasing a new 2014 Honda Accord, which is the only reason I am selling this car. I have been the owner since I purchased the car with 6,000 miles on it back in 2006. The car has been and continues to be a great car. It is fully loaded. It has never been in an accident. All maintenance records have been kept (and can be faxed or emailed if need be) and the oil has been changed every 3,000 - 4,000 miles. I have used only one mechanic throughout the life of the car and he is willing to talk to the potential buyer to certify that the car is in great working shape. Tires, break pads and rotors were replaced approximately 18,000 miles ago. I have waxed the car every year and clean the inside routinely, evidenced by the one/two minor rust spots on the outside and impeccable condition of the inside. The car has a timing chain, not a timing belt, which does not need to be replaced. Kelley Blue Book = $8600 for a private sale and Trade in Value is = $7100. The car has a GPS system, but is currently not working due to the fact the software needs to be updated (from what we were told from the dealership - which would cost $200 to have it removed and sent to be looked at and potentially fixed). I live in Webster, NY (outside of Rochester) and can be contacted via email (aaron.dicicco@carestream.com) or by phone 585-797-7253. Calling my phone is the best way to communicate. I am an honest person and really want this car to go to someone who I know will be able to drive it for many years to come. Seller will have to pick up in person or arrange and pay for shipping. Paypal, certified check or cash is accepted. Car Fax is also available which should be attached to this listing. If it cannot be seen, I can fax or email upon request |

New Odyssey ads feature Honda Vac, star power
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Honda has released a string of new ads highlighting its refreshed, 2014 Odyssey minivan. While the Japanese brand hasn't started bragging about attaining the first Top Safety Pick+ for minivans, it's all too happy to brag about another first - the world's first van with a built-in vacuum cleaner.
In three spots, anthropomorphic children's rubbish discusses the merits of the new minivan, only to be sucked up by the built-in vacuum, which is only available in the top-end Touring Elite model. There's also quite a bit of star power floating around for those that watch a lot of TV. Neil Patrick Harris from Doogie Howser, MD and How I Met Your Mother voices a character in one of the spots, while Rainn Wilson from The Office stars in another. Take a look below for all three ads from Honda.
2019 Honda S2000 roadster rumors swell
Thu, May 19 2016Our friends over at Car and Driver have been speculating about a possible S2000 roadster from an unnamed insider source. While there's not much to go on, it certainly squares with a steady drumbeat of sporty car innuendo surrounding the company. Let's briefly connect the dots and see if a Honda S2000 might be on the way by 2018, as the rumor says. The little roadster pictured above? Definitely not what a new S2000 would look like. That's the S660, which is sold in Japan and shares some components with the N-Box and N-One microcars. As we told you last year, after some hints that it would come to the US, Honda's brass decided it was too small. That was disappointing, but probably the right call. On the other hand, Honda finally brought out the 2017 Acura NSX, which may have its flaws but still represents a unique platform that the company spent a great deal of yen building ( in Ohio, by the way). It's that bit that the rumor hinges on: Honda's willingness to develop unique platforms for its sporty models. It'd need that for an S2000 revival, because there's certainly no Honda model that could donate its underpinnings at this moment. Honda execs have been clear that the company is under pressure from dealers over the lack of verve in the company's lineup. American Honda Executive Vice President John Mendel told Automotive News last year that dealers "want anything in the sports car world. They're going, 'Gimme a sports car.' They want a retractable hardtop; they want a high-horsepower $20,000-sports car. Because that's the nature of what they do." Honda is allegedly going to utilize some sunk cost by employing the new Civic Type R's engine in this roadster. That 2.0-liter turbocharged four makes 306 hp in the Civic, and would make slightly less than that in the S2000, according to the rumor. At this stage, these rumors are mostly wishful thinking fanned by the flames of dealer pressure for sporty models. We hope Car and Driver's insider has it right, because the S2000 was a phenomenal car that deserves a follow-up – and Honda deserves more fun cars in its American showrooms. Honda Fit loses Recommended rating from Consumer Reports
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Thanks to its poor performance in the most recent round of Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash testing, where it received the lowest overall score in the small-overlap test, Consumer Reports has bumped the Honda Fit from its "Recommended" list. When a car gets bumped from the magazine's coveted ranks, it's usually cause for concern. This is not one of those times.
As there is a new Fit barreling towards dealerships for an on-sale date this spring, we wouldn't pay too much credence to the current car's demotion. It's expected that the next-generation Fit should pass the test with flying colors, as CR is quick to point out that newer Hondas have traditionally done very well in the tricky small-overlap crash testing.
Of the subcompact cars tested by the IIHS, only the Kia Rio, which netted a "Marginal" score overall, is a Consumer Reports "Recommended" vehicle.
