Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Car has been in my possession since day one.  Bought at dealership locally.  I've fixed some major components in the last 2 - 3 years.  Just a list.
  1. Starter, 2013
  2. Air condition compressor and condenser, 2013
  3. shocks, 2012
  4. rear wheel bearings, 2011
  5. rotors, 2011
  6. thermostat, 2012
  7. serpentine belt, 2012
  8. Timing belt last fall 2013 at Browns Honda,
  9. radiator, 2013
  10. battery, 2012
  11. air filter and oil at regular 3-5,000 miles.
  12. Leather seats in decent condition,
  13. no major scuffs or marks, (driver's side is obviously more worn.)
  14. Navigation works great as does the XM radio.
  15. I also installed a aftermarket iPhone connection so that you can listen to pandora and iTunes on your phone.
  16. all three motor mounts 2012
  17. DVD navigation player in trunk replaced 2012
  18. New windshield (2013)
Noticeable other items:

  1. Front hood as some chips in paint that I have added some silver touch up paint to.
  2. Left driver side read panel bumper has 3 marks in it.
  3. Bumper has several scratches.
  4. Trunk does come Honda rubber organizer
  5. Tow hitch on back with electrical hookup
  6. Center console cover stays up. Quick fix to replace ($120)
  7. minor marks on interior in back
  8. small dent in front hood near latch
  9. small dent on top of rear drivers side rooftop.
All power seats, windows work
Cruise control works
Navigation, works
AC is ice cold
Heated seats work
Engine accelerates as normal.
Tow hitch was used sparingly to haul a small trailer for large items to the dump.

The only items that I would recommend in the next 10-25,000 miles,
1. Power steering pump works, but mechanic said it might need to be replaced
2. brake pads have about 20,000 miles left.
3. Tires have about 15- 20,000 miles left.  I've put 20,000 miles on them.

Other than that its a great used car.  Email me if you have any questions.

Ford F-150 bumps Camry from top of Cars.com American Made Index

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

With July 4th just around the corner, what better time could there be for Cars.com to announce that the Ford F-150 is the Most American car of 2013? This may be especially true since it was the Toyota Camry, a car produced by a company based in Japan, that had held the top spot from 2009 to 2012.
Cars.com compiles its Most American list by considering the amount of parts each vehicle uses that come from America, where it's final assembly takes place and how many units per year are sold. "While the assembly point and domestic parts content of the F-150 didn't change from 2012-2013, vehicle sales are responsible for bumping the F-150 to the top spot," according to Patrick Olsen, Editor-in-Chief of Cars.com.
As far as automakers go (as opposed to individual models), Toyota retains the top spot it held in 2012, with General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Honda (in that order) rounding out the list. The motivation behind this list each year, according to Olsen, is "to help car shoppers understand that 'American-Made' extends beyond just the Detroit three" and because "a study we conducted in 2012 indicated that 25 percent of shoppers surveyed preferred to buy American."

Ward's reveals annual 10 Best Engines list for 2013

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Ward's Auto has released its annual 10 Best Engines award winners. The 2013 list covers the full width and breadth of the internal combustion spectrum, from a spate of efficient four-cylinders to the most powerful production V8 on the planet. As always, the entries must be available in a production vehicle in the first quarter of 2013 with an MSRP of less than $55,000. The supercharged 3.0-liter V6 from the Audi S5 held on for the fourth consecutive year, and BMW earned two spots on the list with its turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbo 3.0-liter inline-six.
Ford pulled in two awards for its 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and and the supercharged 5.8-liter V8 from the Shelby GT500. Honda matched BMW and Ford with two wins of its own. Wards awarded the 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the Honda Accord Sport as well as the 3.5-liter V6 from the Honda Accord. Chrysler, General Motors and Subaru each garnered a spot on the list as well for the 3.6-liter V6 in the Ram 1500, the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Cadillac ATS and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder the Subaru BRZ, respectively. Honda giving away free Civics in Forza Horizon to celebrate launch

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Just a friendly reminder from Honda: The Honda Challenge Pack DLC is now available for Forza Horizon. To reward you for the trouble of pressing a few buttons on your Xbox controller, you'll get the 2013 Honda Civic Coupe, an HPD Rally Fit and a 1986 Honda Civic Si Coupe in your garage, and you'll get them free. The event of the new DLC has also kicked off a photo contest that will reward someone with an Xbox 360 console wrapped in a Honda Civic Si theme.
Otherwise, the word "Challenge" keeps coming up because of the chance to run an online race against IndyCar driver Scott Dixon. The track for that digital throwdown has already been decided by Xbox players who voted before January 8. Yet it's not too late to hop into the Honda section in Xbox Live and lay down a time fast enough for a shot at the title "The Driver That Shellacked Scott Dixon," and meeting the man in person.
Check out the press release from Honda below, and the sweetness that is the 1986 Civic Si in the gallery above.
