1997 Honda Accord with a 2.2L vtech with a MANUAL transmission. it has 136k miles on it and climbing as its my main source of transportation. it was painted a couple years ago by 1 day paint and they warranty the paint job for five years. the car has rota rims with pirelli p7 tires which have plenty of tread left on them. the timing belt was done a few thousand miles ago and should never have to be replaced again. i also put slotted and drilled rotors in the front, all pads are ceramic. i have replaced the head unit with a dual and have replaced the door speakers and 6x9 with aftermarket speakers. i also have a 10 inch sony explode subwoofer that is practically new. the headlights are halo headlights and the tail lights are an ebay special, the cold air intake is a ebay special as well. i did have a performance exhaust on the car but just recently had something quieter put on, but the tubing from cat back is all 2 and a quarter inch piping making it easy if you wanted to put one back on it. there is very minor damage on the car, as you can see in the pictures there is a dent in the trunk from a trashcan and a mark on the bumper from some lovely person. this is a one owner car and has been in my family for a good portion of my life and i have done my best trying to take care of it but i have outgrown it and would like to pass it on. asking 5250, if you have any questions you may contact me through craigslist email only and i will respond as quick as i can. only serious offers will be considered.

Senna's McLaren drives Honda up the wall
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Honda is getting excited for its imminent return to Formula One with McLaren. So excited, in fact, that it got its new/old friends from Woking to loan it one of its old F1 cars. But not just any old F1 car...
On display at the Honda stand in Frankfurt this year is the 1988 McLaren MP4-4 in which the legendary Ayrton Senna drove to fifteen out of sixteen grands prix that season to take the championship in spectacular style.
Honda provided the engine for that car, a 1.5-liter turbo V6 with upwards of 600 horsepower to propel less than 1,200 lbs. Of course this being a static display car, it's likely been stripped of its engine, gearbox and most other internal mechanical components. But that doesn't make the sight of it any less memorable.
Honda celebrates the life of Ayrton Senna the best way it knows how
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Honda is returning to Formula One in 2015 with McLaren, and when that engine maker and that F1 constructor are mentioned together, two other words are never far behind: Ayrton Senna. There are engine suppliers, constructors and drivers that have bigger numbers, but those three form a triumvirate that came close to defining F1 in the eighties.
Honda Japan has produced a commercial called Sound of Honda that celebrates Senna at a race that turned out to be one of the most momentous of his career for good and bad reasons: the 1989 grand prix at Suzuka where he won, then was stripped of, the driver's championship.
The commercial has a terrifically simple premise - there's no CG, no old footage of Senna, no one says a word, it's just sound. And it's pretty damn good. Check it out below.
Honda Civic poised to get new Earth Dreams engines
Mon, 24 Jun 2013When Honda executed its emergency refresh of the Civic for 2013, it didn't do any massive powertrain reworking. But that doesn't mean new things aren't already in the works for Honda's compact. According to Automotive News, Honda has confirmed that it will offer the Civic with a new Earth Dreams powerplant sometime in the future, though details on timing and exactly what sort of engine are unclear as of this writing.
The confirmation comes from Honda's executive vice president and regional director for North America, Tetsuo Iwamura, who says that the Earth Dreams engine will come when the Civic is re-engineered or redesigned, not during a refresh. There is also no mention of whether these changes will apply to just the standard Civic, or if the Si and Hybrid models will receive some Dreamy new tech, as well.
The entire Earth Dreams group of technologies encompasses more than just naturally aspirated engines with direct injection. A turbo-diesel engine is also part of this suite, as are new continuously variable transmissions and new gasoline-electric hybrid powerplants. Honda launched its 2.4-liter and 3.5-liter Earth Dreams engines in the redesigned 2013 Accord.
