THIS IS A RE-LIST...........LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.............FROM TOBACCOVILLE NC 27050

1989 Honda Accord LX 4 Door. 188000 Miles.  Location Tobaccoville, NC 27050

4 door Honda.  Power windows and locks.  A Good Daily Driver that can be purchased Cheap !!!
The car runs good, and everything works accept whats listed below.  This car was my emergency backup car, in case mine or the wifes broke down, we could drive this one until our cars were fixed.  This cars runs and handles good.  I believe it to be very reliable transportation for somebody just the way it sits,  with just a few things it could actually be a nice car.

It needs a power steering pump,  again, it can be driven but the steering is harder without the pump.
It needs a carburator rebuild.  It will run just fine but hesitates on take off and idels fast until it heats up, then it runs very normal.
The Air Conditioning does not work, the radio does not work.  It has both, ive never looked into why they dont work.
The glove box is broken at the bottom hinges.
The front windshield has a crack.

Thats it these are the only issues with the car.  Everything else works.
The car has New Tires, a New Battery, and New Rear Struts.

Again, this car is a great daily driver just the way it sits.  The only reason i'm selling it is because we picked up another good back up car from a family member thats a little newer, so i will sell this one cheap.

The car is also listed for sale locally,  So i reserve the right to pull the auction at any time......EVEN THE LAST DAY.  But unless it sells for a asking price of $1200 here locally,  i will let it go for whatever the auction brings,  its starting price is only $600.

Avaliable to look at in person or test drive before the acution ends.  Please call me at 3369832506 and ask for Mike for more Info or questions.

This car gets 30 plus miles to the gallon on regular gas.  Its for sale local pickup only.

I will stake my  100% feed back that this car is accurately listed, with all known flaws noted and detailed above.  I would have no problem jumping in this car and driving to work tomarrow, for as long as i needed, any time i needed.

Mugen works up 2014 Honda Fit

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

It turns out the Mugen really is fast. Just yesterday we got our first official look at the JDM version of the all new Honda Fit. In both Hybrid and minty-fresh RS trim, the Japanese Fit is more complexly surfaced and angular than in any of the previous generations. Mugen has apparently been working with the new Fit body for a while, as the tuning house has just released some images and information about parts for the new hatchback.
Suddenly the original Honda styling seems somewhat restrained.
Mugen has crafted body kit parts to work with both the Hybrid and RS models, right from go. Though detailed information is still a little sparse, we're told that parts include: two types of front spoilers, a bumper and a chin spoiler, side skirts, and a carbon fiber rear wing (for the RS).

Wolff: Honda will emerge as strong F1 force

Sat, Feb 13 2016

Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff has no doubts that Honda will make a success of its Formula 1 return, despite the Japanese manufacturer's disappointing time last year. Honda endured a troubled return to F1 in 2015 as it struggled with reliability and a lack of power from its new turbo V6 hybrid engine. But having made gains over the campaign, and a significant revamp of key elements of its power unit over the winter, Wolff thinks that Honda is on course to deliver. "Honda is a huge organization with lots of resource, and they were the power unit with the most impressive development curve through 2015," Wolff said in an interview with his Mercedes team's YouTube channel. "Even if it was a very difficult year for them, it was still very good what they achieved in terms of how they progressed through the season. I have no doubt they will be a strong competitive in the future." Wolff's comments come despite Mercedes engine chief Andy Cowell saying last week that he was not convinced that Honda's 'size zero' concept was the right approach for the current regulations. Manor step As well as predicting good things for Honda in the future, Wolff has predicted promising results for the Mercedes-powered Manor team in 2016. "Manor will make a big step up and not only because of the engine," said Wolff, who helped secure a drive at the Banbury-based team for Mercedes junior driver Pascal Wehrlein. "There is a good bunch of people coming together: impressive individuals, with the right budget and right attitude, and Pascal in the car. "I have confidence that the car and driver will have highlights and be a solid midfield runner." Latest Honda promo film is a Never Ending Race against emissions

Sun, Feb 16 2014

A new Honda promotional video shows clips of a hazy, smog-choked Los Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s, and then gives the company credit for its lead role in cutting vehicle-emissions by a factor of one thousand since 1970. Self-serving? Sure. Then again, this LA-native reporter born in 1970 can't help but be somewhat appreciative. The nearly five-minute video takes a tour through Honda history, showing the Japanese automaker using its experience designing race cars to help develop smaller engines such as its four-cylinder CVCC. An early proponent of California's Clean Air Act, Honda recounts its low-emissions history with the first production low-emission vehicle (the 1996 Civic) and the first production ultra-low-emission vehicle (the 1998 Accord), and says it's approaching "near zero emissions" for its new cars. For anyone keeping track, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said late last year that Honda's 2013 model-year vehicles averaged an even 27 miles per gallon, and that's with a fairly limited number of hybrids and plug-ins sold. That number was up from its 26.6 mpg in 2012 and second only to Mazda's 27.5 mpg among the major automakers. The overall 2013 average was 24.0 mpg.
