2005 GMC YUKON DENALI AWD

NAVIGATION/ENTERTAINMENT/3RD ROW SEAT

TAN LEATHER

EXCELLENT CONDITION

2005 GMC Yukon Denali in great shape inside and out. 113K miles with the majority of those on the highway. It's the weekend trip vehicle not the daily driver and the wife wants a car instead. It's still "tight" with no squeaks, etc. Loaded with separate front x2 and rear AC, full power, navigation, full entertainment package including the amazing Bose 10 speaker stereo with subwoofer and rear screen/tv with separate dvd player for the rear occupants. Third row seat. Factory towing package. Everything works as new and this vehicle has been well maintained. Oil changes at 4-5k mile intervals. New 1000amp Gold battery November 2012. Tires are in great shape with less than 30k miles so there are many miles left. The paint is shiny and in great shape and the non-smoker interior shows better than average wear. We park away and walk so no door dings! 2 small quarter sized scratches on either under side of the rear bumper but you'll have to bend over to see them. This vehicle is kept clean and the leather maintained. The third row seat looks and is same as new. No children so nobody to put back there. The carpet and floor mats are like new. We keep them upside down so they never get used. As seen in the pictures, the headphones included with the entertainment package are brand new having never been used. Both keys with remotes, manuals, etc. My feedback rating is 100% with over 1000 transactions. Serious interest buyers feel free to call me @ (256) 656-8795 anytime. If there is something you want to see let me know and I will send pictures. It is available for viewing and I encourage it. Located in N. AL/35811. Please ask any questions you may have and please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. $500 deposit via Paypal due within 48 hours of auction end. If upon inspection, it is not as advertised the deposit shall be refunded and the transaction cancelled. The reserve is set below the value so bid away. It is available for sale locally and if it is sold this auction will be cancelled. Thank you for looking, Aaron

GM tells NHTSA pickup truck electronic glitch is 'inconsequential'

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

General Motors has been enduring some serious problems with recalls recently, and it is hoping to avoid launching another major safety campaign. 200,921 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups are under the microscope due to a rare problem with their instruments, an issue GM calls calls "inconsequential to motor vehicle safety." The Detroit-based automaker believes that the glitch is so minor that it has filed a petition with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration asking the government safety watchdog for permission to pass on recalling the vehicles.
The fault at issue can occasionally cause the instrument cluster to reset when drivers use the steering wheel controls to browse songs from an external media device connected to the truck's USB ports. If a song's title information exceeds 2,000 bytes, according to The Detroit News, then the instrument panel can reset, which in turn causes the gauges, shift position indicator and cruise control telltale to turn off briefly. When rebooting, other instrument panel lights may briefly illuminate without their functions actually being activated. GM claims that if this does happen, the instrument display lights go out for about 1.5 seconds and the bulb check lasts a further five seconds. However, this snafu has no actual affect on the truck's operation. The glitch is present in trucks built between January 29, 2013, and October 28, 2013.

2020 GMC Acadia refresh brings a new engine, AT4 trim level

Mon, Feb 18 2019

It's mid-cycle refresh time for the GMC Acadia, and the updated 2020 model kicks off its changes with a new face. It has a square-jawed grille seemingly pulled straight off the Sierra full-size pickup, and the size is amplified by the slender new LED headlights on either side. At the rear, the LED taillights are taller and more chiseled. A new AT4 trim level adds more visual distinction with black trim and wheels, plus all-terrain tires to make it a little more capable off road. The AT4 also boasts standard all-wheel drive. Under the revised skin, the Acadia hides one of two carryover engines, or a new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4. This new engine makes 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque with the help of a twin-scroll turbocharger. To make it more frugal, it's able to deactivate two of its four cylinders. The turbo engine is standard issue on the SLT and Denali trim levels. The carryover engines include a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter 4-cylinder making 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque, and a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 making 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is standard equipment on the AT4 trim. No matter the engine, all 2020 Acadias get a 9-speed automatic transmission. The new transmission also ditches the current Acadia's mechanical shift lever in favor of an electronic shifter with the Terrain's mix of buttons and triggers. It does free up space between the seats, but the button arrangement is still as strange as it was when we first saw it in the smaller crossover. There are a handful of other little upgrades to mention. The suspension has been revised for greater comfort; the infotainment has been revised with a bigger screen, USB-C inputs and customizable profiles; and wireless phone charging is now an option. The updated Acadia goes on sale this fall, and pricing will probably be announced close to launch.

Google Earth helps sheriff's department find stolen car [w/video]

Sun, 29 Sep 2013

A stolen-vehicle case opened back in March was recently solved with the help of a property owner using Google Earth, a virtual globe and mapping service similar to Google Maps, ABC News reports. The man, who remains anonymous, found the stolen GMC Yukon while he was surveying his property in George County, Mississippi, using the map service and, judging by the top-down satellite image, thought he found a "shooting house" on his hunting grounds.
When he drove out to the suspicious structure, he realized it actually was a sport utility vehicle wedged in thick brush about 70 yards from the nearest road, so he called the police.
Law enforcement officers had arrested a female suspect in the case earlier based on eyewitness accounts, but didn't prosecute her because the stolen SUV hadn't been found. Ben Brown, a lieutenant detective with the George County Sheriff's Department, says that he ran the plates and confirmed the SUV was the stolen vehicle the department had been looking for.
