2009 GMC Yukon SLT 4WD Has every option available on the SLT model. Summit White exterior, Cocoa/Dune interior. Leather, Heated front and second row seats, 2nd row quad seating, 3rd row seat. Navigation (Touchscreen) and DVD systems, Bose Stereo, OnStar, XM Radio. Backup Camera in Navigation System, parking sensors, Autoride Suspension. Sunroof, roof rack, running boards, towing package, 20" polished aluminum wheels. This is an everyday driver, so miles will increase until sold. I purchased this vehicle with 28,500 miles on it and it has been serviced at the local GMC dealership ever since. The Yukon has some minor wear and tear, such as a few rock chips on the hood. It also has a scrape on the front driver's side bumper and a tear in the fiberglass on the back passenger's side bumper. I've had these quoted to be fixed. Will cost approximately $800 to repair. The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

2016 Green Truck of the Year, Commercial Green Car of the Year finalists
