1999 GMC Yukon SLT Here is a very nice 99 Yukon. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Look at the Autocheck Score. Make sure and check out the Video below. This is a great running truck. It has the 5.7L 350 engine which is a great motor that is reliable, puts out plenty of power, and gets decent gas mileage. Someone has taken care of this truck as you can tell. It fires right up and runs great. I did have the transmission replaced so that shouldn't be a worry. It is a nice driver and just cruises down the road. Everything on the truck feels tight. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure you watch the video I do a complete walk around of this truck inside and out and even take it for a test drive. The exterior of this SUV is nice. It is black in color and the paint has a very nice shine to it. There is a little bit of the clear coat peeling on the top surfaces as you can see but nothing major. The body is straight as can be and hardly a dent or ding anywhere. All of the chrome on the bumpers and grill is in very good condition and just shines in the sun. It does have a nice set of aftermarket black nerf/step bars to make it easier to get in and out of. The factory wheels are in great condition and don't show much for road wear. It has a nice set of Dunlop tires that I would say have about 85% tread left. These are nice tires that have a lot of miles left on them. Options: Automatic Transmission 5.7L 350 V8 Power Windows Power Locks Power Seats Leather Cassette/CD Player Factory A/C Rear Vent Controls The interior is in very good condition on this Yukon. It has the light grey leather interior that goes great with the black exterior. The front seats do show a little wear but nothing major and aren't all tore up. The back seats don't look like they every got sat in much and show almost no wear. The carpets are in good condition but do show some wear and have some stains that would come out if you shampooed it. There is lots of room in the back and the back seats folds down to give you more if you need it. This truck is fully loaded with all the options. Check out the video I go through and show you everything working or not. This is just a nice truck that is clean and a good runner. It is hard to find these in nice clean condition anymore so don't miss out. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. 2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
GM tells owners not to use SUV wipers due to fire risk
Sun, Oct 11 2015General Motors is recalling 31,685 examples of the 2016 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia because a short circuit in the windshield wiper motor can potentially lead to a fire. Due to the danger, the company is asking owners not to use the wipers until the problem is fixed, according to The Detroit Free Press citing the Associated Press. A manufacturing defect in the wiper motor cover means that the electrical terminals can come into contact and cause a short. The part could "melt, smoke, or catch fire," according to a statement from GM. The company will get them fixed immediately, and dealers will replace the cover. If there's bad weather at the time the owner specifies to get the recall work completed, the automaker will come pick up the crossovers. Depending on parts availability, the automaker will supply a rental car for customers, as well. The issue was discovered at the factory. According to the company's statement, only 6,405 actually made it to customers, and they were notified immediately by overnight letter. The rest were in dealer stock. The affected crossovers carry build dates between August 18, 2015 and September 24, 2015. Of those, there are 29,295 in the US and 1,073 in Canada. GM Statement: General Motors has told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it will recall approximately 29,295 2016 model year Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia SUVs in the U.S. because the front windshield wiper motor may overheat when in use because of a manufacturing defect. In some cases, the front windshield wiper motor cover may melt, smoke or catch fire. The approximately 6,405 customers who have taken delivery of these vehicles were notified by overnight letter and are urged to contact a GM dealer as soon as possible to arrange a service appointment. These customers should not use the front windshield wipers until they have been repaired. If weather conditions prevent driving the vehicle without using the windshield wipers, GM will arrange to pick up the vehicle for servicing. If repair parts are unavailable, GM will provide a rental car at no cost until parts become available. The total population, including Canada, Mexico and exports, is approximately 31,685. About 25,280 of these vehicles are in dealer stock and will not be sold until repairs are made.
2015 GMC Yukon Denali
Tue, 25 Mar 2014Automotive enthusiasts often wonder aloud - ourselves included - why General Motors would choose to keep GMC while sending Pontiac (and Saturn, and even Oldsmobile before it) into the great automotive graveyard in the sky. The answer, as is so often the case, is profit. It's much easier for GM to rake in money hand over fist by rejiggering the trucks, crossovers and SUVs that it would already be developing for Chevrolet and making them a bit more luxurious and *ahem* "Professional Grade" with new grilles, badges and unique packaging for GMC.
While it may sound like we're being cynical, we totally approve of GM's fullsize SUV strategy. The least-expensive way to get into the fold is with the Chevrolet Tahoe, which starts at $45,595 with a 5.3-liter V8 engine and a cloth interior. Bumping that same Chevy to LTZ trim and its $59,995 sticker price lands a much nicer leather-clad interior and more techno-bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at. But it still looks like a Tahoe, and it still comes with the smaller 5.3-liter engine. Or, you could do what we'd do: Walk into your GMC dealer and take a look at the Yukon Denali. Here's why.
