You are bidding on a very clean 1996 GMC Pro Street Sonoma. NO expense was spared building this truck. Would cost tons of money to replicate. This truck has won numerous trophies and awards at car show. I want to explain how I ended up with the truck and why I'm selling it. I bought the truck from a older friend who was a big car show guy. He spend all of the money making the truck what it is today. My intention was to put a LS V-8 in the truck and drive as a summer car. I recently was engaged and have unfortunately abandoned my plans of making this truck a V-8. Here is a quick list of what you need for the swap. You would basically need a motor, ECU, headers, and motor mounts. It's not an expensive or extensive swap either way. I was fine with the way it drove now and had enough power to cruise around and have fun. So if your not a motor head the truck looks and sounds fast, just don't push your luck with a cammed up V-8 at a red light.
The paint is in almost perfect shape. The racing stripes are painted on the car and carry over the whole truck. Stripes do have a metallic flake. There a few very minor scratches/marks on the paint. Spoiler a one off custom from sheet metal. The pro street set up was done professionally (See Pictures)
Tires: Mickey Thompson Front: 195/75/R15 Rears 31X16.5 R 15 LT On Weld racing wheels. Tires are almost new.
Suspension: Lowered with a 4 link rear with coil overs - Done Professionally
Rear: GM 10 Bold Rear with 4.11 Rear End Gears (Obviously shortened done Professionally)
Motor: 4.3 Liter V-6 Runs Great and Drives nice. No noises or issues. - This truck is really set up for a V-8... Still has A/C and Power Steering
Trans: Rebuilt 4L60 Trans (Pressurized) Aggressive Shift
This is truly a one of a kind truck. You will not be disappointed. I will be happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking.

Disabled man realizes dream of driving with converted pickup truck
Tue, Sep 22 2015A man with a devastating illness is mobile once again thanks to a heavily modified pick up truck. He hopes he can help others in his situation gain the freedom of mobility they need to lead a normal life. Chris Sauerbaum has a physical disability resulting from chronic inflammatory polyneuropathy, a form of muscular dystrophy where the sufferer's immune system attacks their nerves. Sauerbaum lost both of his legs and is bound to a wheelchair. After 11 years of trying, he finally has a vehicle that he can drive. "You might as well be driving a Lamborghini," Sauerbaum told the York Dispatch as the driver side door extended to a lift to accommodate Sauerbaum's wheelchair. "Everyone comes up and talks to you. You come out looking like a Transformer." It wasn't easy getting transportation that fit his needs. First he bought a Chrysler PT Cruiser, which wasn't large enough to handle the equipment needed to convert the car for a legless driver. In 2013, Sauerbaum and his wife Heather Sloat appealed to local businesses and friends for donations. They raised $10,000 and were able to put a downpayment on a GMC Sierra. The truck then underwent $91,000 worth of upgrades. It was completely outfitted for Sauerbaum, with a large lift to bring his wheel chair up to the driver's seat and joysticks doing the work of peddles and the steering wheel. New York's Office of Vocational Rehabilitation paid for the conversion. "Think of it as a big remote controlled car. An 8,000 pound R/C car," Sauerbaum told the Dispatch. After a week and a half of learning the controls, Sauerbaum was able to drive with confidence again. He will no long need to rely on his wife to get him two and from work, an 80-mile trip each day. Sauerbaum and Sloat hope to start a nonprofit called Drive for Independence that will assist other wheelchair-bound people with the costs of getting a converted vehicle that suits their needs. "It's just one piece of the puzzle to get people to work," Sloat told the Dispatch. Related Video: Weird Car News GMC Driving Ownership Truck Videos disabled ms
GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado diesels finally heading to dealers
Fri, Jan 1 2016Customers who have been waiting to receive their diesel-powered Chevrolet Colorados and GMC Canyons should be relived to hear that GM will finally start to ship them out of the Wentzville Assembly Plant. "The highly anticipated 2016 GMC Canyon diesel has begun shipping to dealers," a company spokesperson confirmed to The Detroit News. The trucks originally had a fall launch date, but a final review forced a delay in deliveries. The 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel in the midsize trucks produces 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and the company touts the engine's low emissions. The Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board even put the mill through extra scrutiny with a real world test in the wake of VW's diesel scandal, and the Duramax passed with no problems. At that time, a Chevy spokesperson told Autoblog that the models' launch was on track. The Duramax engine adds $3,730 to the price of a comparable V6 model, but they're the most fuel-efficient pickups on the market. The EPA estimates the twins at 31 miles per gallon highway, 22 mpg city, and 25 mpg combined in two-wheel drive form and 29/20/23 with four-wheel drive. Buyers likely can't wait to finally experience these pickups after reading a heap of positive reviews. The Colorado diesel recently earned Motor Trend's Truck of the Year award. We also came away impressed with it during our First Drive and liked the Canyon during our Quick Spin. Related Video:
GMC introduces Canyon Nightfall Edition for the steathly and stylish
Thu, Jan 8 2015It may be just now arriving at dealers, but the 2015 GMC Canyon has just received its very first special edition trim, although the stealthy Nightfall Edition is, in the greater scheme of aesthetic upgrades, pretty basic. GMC has blacked out the truck's grille and side steps, added a spray-in bedliner as standard, fitted new 18-inch "Dark Argent" wheels with black inserts, a polished exhaust tip, remote start and automatic climate control. Naturally, the Nightfall Edition is only available with Onyx Black paint. Customers interested in the blacked-out pickup will need to choose between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, although they'll be freed the burden of picking a trim level or body style, as the Nightfall is limited to the mid-grade SLE with the four-door crew cab arrangement. "The new Canyon Nightfall Edition expands the Canyon lineup and gives style-conscious customers another choice," GMC's vice president of sales and marketing, Duncan Aldred, said in a statement. "Importantly, customers get the great looks of the Canyon Nightfall Edition and its unique content at a greater value than ordering the features separately." GMC has not released any information about the price of the Nightfall Edition, or when it will arrive in dealerships. Scroll down for the full press release announcing the newest member of the Canyon family.
