2009 GMC Sierra 3500 Food/Catering/Coffee Truck

Ready to start your own food truck business? Or add to an existing business! This mobile catering truck is ready to feed even the largest crowds!

Pizza Oven, Cold Drink/Food Compartments, Coffee Urn, Full Steam Table w/Griddle,

Refrigerated Salad Display, Condiment Station, Prep/Sink Area, and more!

The possibilities are endless. I had purchased this truck with the dream of starting a part time food truck (weekend festivals/fairs/etc.) during slow economic times. The idea was great, but the local ordinances are not. I would not be able to invest enough time to make it worthwhile. Also my other businesses (used car dealership, sign shop, truck accessory store) have recently gotten busy. After much thought I have decided to sell the truck and put my dream on hold for now. Whoever buys this truck will get a great deal and a great piece of equipment. If you have a business logo or idea I can also give you a great deal on lettering/graphics to really get things going.

I have tested the gas appliances and everything seems to work great. The only exception is the coffee urn may be missing a filter or something. I am not sure. Mechanically the truck runs great and I just did LOF and six brand new tires . At 80000 miles the suspension could probably use new shocks, but that is not critical. As you can see from the pictures the stainless equipment is very clean. There are a few small dents/scratches in the doors, but it still looks excellent. You will be saving over $30000 on this truck over buying new!

This food truck is being sold as is/where is. I try to describe it as it is, but I may not know everything about this vehicle. I was ready to start working with it, so it certainly is not junk or mis-described. I would encourage prospective buyers to either see it personally or ask lots of questions, which I will answer as quickly and honestly as possible. I have been in the auto business for 20 years and have a stellar reputation (which I would like to keep!) I have sold several high dollar vehicles on Ebay or over the internet with 100% happy customers. Recently I sold a Hummer H1 and a Lotus Elise sight unseen to 2 VERY happy buyers. I am a reasonable person and expect a buyer to be reasonable too. This vehicle is NOT brand new, so keep that in mind and everyone will be happy and live longer (just thought I'd add the last part LOL).

HAPPY BIDDING!

Next Chevy Silverado could get this built-in tailgate step

Thu, Feb 2 2017

General Motors just received patent approval for a tailgate step in a pickup bed. And given the timing, don't be surprised if you see this on the upcoming 2019 Silverado pickup (not the mention its GMC Sierra twin), expected to arrive in late 2018. According to the patent, granted in December of last year, the whole mechanism is housed in the tailgate assemble. The magic happens when a portion of the top half of the tailgate swings down and a step folds out. There's also a handle that locks into position to help climb up into the bed. As trucks get bigger and taller over the years, it gets harder and harder to access the cargo bed. Ford's solution with the 2009 F-150 was a step that slides out from the end of the tailgate. Back then, Chevy made an ill-advised ad highlighting the feature for Ford. And while Howie Long mocked the F-150's "man step" Ford saw almost a third of its trucks with the option in the first year. The GM design seems to improve on Ford's idea as it appears to be wider and has a back to the lower step. That is, you don't have to worry about stepping through the ladder-rung design as on the F-150. Ford's tailgate step later spread to the F Super Duty, and other cargo access assists have proliferated through the truck world. On the most recent redesign, the Chevrolet Silverado took a trick from the Avalanche and added cutouts to the corners of the rear bumper that act as a foothold. Ford also offers a deployable side step, Chevrolet has running boards that scoot rearward with a kick of the boot, and Ram offers fixed wheel-to-wheel side rails. Nissan is in on the game too, with an optional folding step that tucks under the rear bumper. We don't expect Chevrolet to comment on when or if we'll see this feature in the showrooms. But given that engineers are already hard at work on the next Silverado and the timing of this patent lines right up with the new truck's development cycle, we'll be disappointed if this patent stays in the file cabinet. GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival

Wed, 12 Nov 2014

Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.

GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.
