For sale we have a 2005 Gmc Sierra 3500 SLE 4x4. This Dually was a recent trade in for a newer chevrolet at the chevy dealer. The truck is a 1 owner truck. I personally drove it from NH to our facility in CT for 4 hours and I gotta say that the truck drove like brand new. The LLY 6.6L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine fires right up with no injector issues, no blow by, no head gasket, just a healthy engine. The allison automatic transmission shifts smoothly thru out all the gears with no issues. The 4x4 engages in and out as it should. Front tires have plenty of tread, rear ones are in fair condition. Outside body is in good shape for its age with few nicks and marks and 2 cracked around the rear wheels. The interior is clean and well kept. The truck has the SLE trim with most of the power options, cold ac and warm heat. The front-end of the truck is nice and tight and the truck is very smooth down the road with excellent handling and amazing torque! No check engine lights on dash no service reminders no stories!

GM announces net 220 job increase as Trump visits Michigan
Wed, Mar 15 2017GM announced today that about 900 jobs would be added (or, importantly, retained) ahead of President Trump's arrival in Michigan, where he is expected to discuss his plan to roll back fuel economy standards. The timing of the announcement is almost certainly not coincidental, as appending it to a Trump visit gives it a higher profile and dovetails with the President's jobs agenda. It's less likely the decision itself was made for those reasons, but the free PR boost is a nice bonus. As for those 900 jobs themselves, they aren't all new jobs. The only net gain is approximately 220 jobs at the Romulus Powertrain Plant, which produces the 10-speed automatic transmission that's proliferating through the company's lineup. The 180 jobs at Flint Assembly and 500 jobs at Lansing Delta Township are retained jobs – that is to say, spots the company found for workers who would otherwise have been laid off. By the way, the Flint jobs will help with production of heavy-duty pickups, and the Lansing jobs are to produce the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave. Finding jobs for manufacturing workers in the auto sector, whether new or retained, is admirable. No matter how GM couches it, the company has created or retained a total of 7,000 jobs this year, and its total reinvestment in US production is around $1 billion. But these decisions are business ones, not political ones – timing the announcements to make them seem inspired by economic policy, or the political situation, is simply smart PR. GM to offer 2 years free maintance on most 2014 models
Thu, 06 Jun 2013A day after Ford announced it was scaling back the complimentary maintenance program for its Lincoln brand, General Motors has gone in the completely opposite direction, offering most of its 2014 lineup with free maintenance. Since 2011, Cadillac models have all come with a four-year/50,000-mile complimentary maintenance program, but Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles will now come standard with free maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles for the 2014 model year.
The program will give vehicle owners and lessees free oil changes, tire rotations and 27-point inspections following the recommended maintenance schedule laid out in each vehicle's owner's manual. We contacted GM to see which vehicles were eligible for the program, and a spokesperson got back to us with the following comment:
"All 2014 models are eligible, it's just that the included services vary by model, e.g., Spark EV would not need oil changes, Corvettes don't recommend tire rotations."
