Denali 2500hd Duramax 4x4 Lifted 10" American Force 24" Wheels 37" Toyo Diesel on 2040-cars
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
You are bidding on our personal 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD. We bought this truck brand new on April 24, 2014 from Vera Cadillac-GMC in Pembroke Pines, Florida. It has been in its stock condition up until last week, when the modifying began. This
truck is onyx black with ebony interior. It is fully loaded minus with everything from heated/cooled seats to the 8" LED gauge display. The only options we did not get are the sunroof and overhead DVD. We also added the rear bench underseat storage
from GM Accessories Division and the center console storage insert.
Vehicle modifying seems to run rampant in this family, so as soon as we purchased the truck, we went and contacted Full Throttle Suspension in California. The guys there set us up with their 10" lift in a raw metal finish. We opted to add their rear traction bar setup as well as their quad reservoir rear shock setup. We opted for all chrome reservoir shocks with black billet clamps. We had the entire lift kit powdercoated gloss black at Fusion Powdercoating in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We also contacted American Force Wheels and placed an order for 24"x12" Liberty SS8 wheels in full polished finish. We mounted Toyo Open Country M/T 37x13.50x24 tires on them. Once all the parts were ready to install, we contacted California Custom Sport Trucks in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to complete all the custom work on this truck. We've used them for several builds of ours and have been customers for the past twenty years, so rest assured everything has been done right! Once the truck was at the shop, we had them put on a set of Amp Research retractable steps to make it easier for folks to climb into the truck. This truck is daily driven by my wife, who carts around a 5 year old and a 9 year old who can get into the truck without any issues. They also added a BakFlip F1 tonneau cover to cover up the bed so I could haul our sports gear around without it getting wet. Once the truck was off the lift, Josh at The Diesel Cartel ordered us a FloPro 4" exhaust setup and an EFI Live tuner from Kory Willis at PPEI. California Custom Sport Trucks installed it all. This truck now has just under 2,500 miles on it, which will change since we daily drive it. It has absolutely ZERO issues, runs flawlessly, and has had no mechanical issues. If you are interested in this truck, you can contact me directly or through ebay. My name is Robbie and my number is 954-418-2636. I will not respond to text messages as it shows a complete lack of interest and is a waste of my time. If you are interested, call me, we don't bite. This is not a scam, this truck is the real deal and so am I. You can come down to sunny South Florida and see it in person if need be. I will not ship it personally, that it up to you. You can come here and pick it up in person or you can arrange to have her shipped. The truck must be paid for entirely and all funds cleared BEFORE you arrange to pick it up. I require a $2000 deposit which is non-refundable for any reason. The remaining balance will need to be settled up with shortly thereafter. The remaining balance is ONLY accepted via direct WIRE TRANSFER! I will not hold the truck for anyone, it will go to whoever pays for it in full. There is a lein on the truck, which will need to be satisfied prior to the release of the title. I can arrange payoff information to the financing company or the new owner once we get to that step. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. I have tried to be as descriptive as possible
when doing this listing. If I erroneously
left anything out, I apologize. But
please ask any and all questions PRIOR to buying this truck. Don't ask me what the reserve is. If you want the truck, bid on it and hope you get it. I will entertain private offers. This truck is listed locally and I reserve the right to terminate this auction at anytime. |

Leak reveals GM's 2017 heavy duty diesel trucks to get 910 lb-ft of torque [UPDATE]
Tue, Sep 27 2016UPDATE: Chevrolet officially announced specs for the 2017 Silverado HD and the rumors were true. The truck's new Duramax 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V8 puts out 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Chevrolet says the new motor produces 19 percent more torque and 12 percent more horsepower, while producing 35 percent fewer emissions. Overall, the new engine is a big improvement over the current motor, which generates 397 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque. According to Truck Trend, GM's newest heavy duty pickup trucks will pick up quite a bit more power and torque. The publication spotted a recent GM Powertrain ordering catalog that had the engine specs for the 2017 model year and managed to get some screenshots before the catalog was taken down, and they can be viewed here. The screenshots revealed that the 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8 powering the Silverado and Sierra heavy duty models will boast 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. This is a substantial gain over the current models' 397 horsepower and 765 lb-ft of torque, and as Truck Trend points out, it exceeds the Ford Super Duty line's horsepower output of 440, but comes short of the 925 lb-ft rating. Truck Trend credits part of this output gain to the new intake system GM will introduce on the 2017 heavy duties. The intake gets 60 percent of its air from a scoop on the hood, with the other 40 percent coming from behind one of the front fenders. GM doesn't reveal horsepower figures in the press release about the scoop, but it does say the cooler air helps with maintaining the engine's output, and that the scoop does produce a ram-air affect, providing more air at speed. As we know, more air plus more fuel equals more power, but there's likely more to the power increase in this engine than only the intake. GM 6.2L EcoTec V8 rated at 21 mpg by the EPA
Wed, 02 Oct 2013General Motors is already laying claim to best-in-class power for its new 6.2-liter V8 that will be offered in the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra this fall, and now it has released fuel economy numbers for the big engine. Available as an option on the Silverado LTZ and High Country (shown above) models as well as the the Sierra SLT and Denali trims, the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 will return 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 mpg on the highway on rear-wheel-drive trucks; these numbers drop by one mpg each on four-wheel-drive models.
These estimates are in addition to the engine's 420 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque and max trailering capacity of 12,000 pounds, and considering all that power it's not terribly far away from the fuel economy of GM's equally new 4.3-liter V6 and its rating of 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. This announcement comes just days after a report indicated that GM is unable to keep up with the demand of the 5.3-liter V8 in the fullsize Chevy and GMC trucks due to supplier issues. GM's official press release for the 6.2-liter V8's fuel economy is posted below.
Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
