I’m selling my 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax Crew Cab 4x4.
I have owned this truck (in Texas) since day one and it has been very good to me over the years. All maintenance records were logged and the majority of general repairs/fluid changes were done by me. Since 2004 I have always used Shell Rotella T 15w 40 motor oil, Mobile 1 Synthetic 75-90 for the front/rear axles and Wix filters. I let the local auto lube place nearby take care of the Coolant and transmission flushes. This truck has never been in an accident and the body/frame is in excellent condition. The Texas title for my truck is clean and clear, there are NO liens against it.
The Engine/Transmission/Axles have not been modified in any way. I never added any type of programmer or high performance parts to the drive train. (Other than a K&N air filter)
At 105K miles I added a 4” Rancho Suspension Lift Kit with 20”x12” USA Forged wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler tires. Recently (4k miles ago) I put on a new set of 325/60 R20 Nitto Terra Grappler tires and added a full size matching spare wheel & tire that fits under the truck in the factory location.
In late 2011 I completely renovated the interior with Heat/Sound Insulation throughout the entire cab and doors, New carpet, Headliner, All new foam padding for the seats and finished it off with Dark Graphite Katzkin leather.
The Truck also comes with AMP electric steps, Viper Alarm with Remote Start and much more.

GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado diesels finally heading to dealers
Fri, Jan 1 2016Customers who have been waiting to receive their diesel-powered Chevrolet Colorados and GMC Canyons should be relived to hear that GM will finally start to ship them out of the Wentzville Assembly Plant. "The highly anticipated 2016 GMC Canyon diesel has begun shipping to dealers," a company spokesperson confirmed to The Detroit News. The trucks originally had a fall launch date, but a final review forced a delay in deliveries. The 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel in the midsize trucks produces 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and the company touts the engine's low emissions. The Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board even put the mill through extra scrutiny with a real world test in the wake of VW's diesel scandal, and the Duramax passed with no problems. At that time, a Chevy spokesperson told Autoblog that the models' launch was on track. The Duramax engine adds $3,730 to the price of a comparable V6 model, but they're the most fuel-efficient pickups on the market. The EPA estimates the twins at 31 miles per gallon highway, 22 mpg city, and 25 mpg combined in two-wheel drive form and 29/20/23 with four-wheel drive. Buyers likely can't wait to finally experience these pickups after reading a heap of positive reviews. The Colorado diesel recently earned Motor Trend's Truck of the Year award. GM also sheds parts from its pickups to boost payload ratings
Thu, 31 Jul 2014The row between Ford and Ram over who boasts the best-in-class tow rating for heavy duty pickups has revealed a number of things. Chief among them is a report that Ford removes items like the spare tire, jack, radio and center console from its vehicles in a bid to lower its base curb weight and therefore keep the truck's gross vehicle weight rating down.
For those that need a refresher, GVWR is the vehicle's curb weight plus its maximum payload. A lower GVWR allows Ford to station its F-450 among the so-called Class III pickups, despite the fact that internally, it has the makings of a more brutish Class IV truck.
Ford explains away these deletions, saying a customer could order their vehicle in such a manner. It has also come to light that Ford is not the only automaker to engage in such practices.

For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
