YOU ARE LOOKING AT A VERY NICE GMC SIERRA DURAMAX. THIS IS A VERY LOW MILEAGE CREW CAB 4X4 DIESEL, AND I BELIEVE IT WILL BE THE CHEAPEST ONE ANYWHERE WITH THIS LOW OF MILES.
ALL OF THE GOOD. IT IS A ONE OWNER, SOUTHERN TRUCK (FROM TENNESSEE) THAT OBVIOUSLY HAS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF. IT HAS NEVER SEEN ANY SALT. THE UNDERNEATH IS JUST AS CLEAN AS THE OUTSIDE. THERE IS NO BALL IN THE BED. THE TIRES ARE ABOVE AVERAGE. IT STARTS AND RUNS AND EVERYTHING WORKS JUST AS IT SHOULD. WE JUST REBUILT THE TRANSMISSION, PHOTOS ATTACHED
THE BAD. IT HAS A BAD INJECTOR. WHAT PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME, IS THAT YOU SHOULD REPLACE ALL OF THEM. THE PARTS ARE $2500 TO $3000 PLUS LABOR APPROX. WE DO NOT HAVE A LOCAL DIESEL MECHANIC SO MY LOSS WILL BE YOUR GAIN. I HAVE $19568 IN THE TRUCK, AND IF THE INJECTORS WORKED RIGHT IT WOULD BE WORTH THAT ALL DAY. I WILL SELL IT FOR $13850. THIS WILL GIVE YOU ENOUGH TO SPEND ON THE TRUCK AND STILL BE IN IT GOOD. IT HAS SOME DINGS RIGHT BEHIND THE REAR DOORS ON THE CAB. 5 OR 6 ON EACH SIDE. ONE OF THE FOG LAMP LENSES IS MISSING.
THIS TRUCK IS SOLD AS IS, THE CUSTOME WILL PAY FOR 100% OF ALL REPAIRS.
THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE. PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. WE ARE A ILLINOIS LICENSED #214 AUTO DEALER AND HAVE BEEN SINCE 1929, SO REST ASSURED YOU WILL GET THE FACTS FROM ME. $500 IS DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF END OF SALE. THE REST IS DUE WITHIN 1 WEEK. PLEASE CALL ME BEFORE YOU PICK IT UP SO WE CAN HAVE ALL PAPERWORK READY.
DO NOT BUY IT NOW IF YOU ARE NOT REALLY GOING TO BUY IT. IT COST ME MONEY IF YOU DO AND A LOT OF HASSLE. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES ON THIS TRUCK. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU LOOKING AT THIS TRUCK, I KNOW IT WILLBE A GOOD ONE FOR YOU. GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

GM issues CUV stop-sale due to Goodyear tires [UPDATE]
Thu, Jan 22 2015UPDATE: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that only 6,281 tires were installed on the CUVs, when in actuality, there were 6,281 CUVs affected by the stop-sale order, totaling 25,124 tires. The story has been edited to reflect this. General Motors has issued a stop-sale order on some 6,300 of its Lambda platform crossovers due to a pending recall on their 18-inch Goodyear Fortera HL tires. The affected vehicles include all three flavors of GM's large CUV platform, consisting of the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. Goodyear is recalling a total of 48,500 Fortera HL tires after discovering "very small" cracks in the tread, found during internal testing. Of the affected tires, 32,100 were made for GM, Goodyear told Automotive News. According to GM, 6,281 CUVs were fitted with the questionable rubber, totaling 25,124 of the company's 32,100 tires. The remainder were stocked as replacements, a GM rep told Autoblog. The remaining 16,400 tires were built specifically for the aftermarket. Goodyear reports that the cracks do "not indicate a safety issue." Meanwhile, a GM spokesman told AN that stop-sale "will eventually lead to a non-compliance recall by GM." GM recalls trucks and SUVs for brake pedal problem
Thu, Feb 11 2016The Basics: General Motors will recall over 473,000 North American examples of the 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado HD, GMC Sierra HD, and police pursuit versions of the Chevy Tahoe. These include 426,573 vehicles in the US and 46,837 in Canada, according to Reuters. The Problem: The brake pivot nut can loosen over time, which can render the pedal inoperative. This would be a danger to drivers trying to stop the vehicles. In some cases, the "Service Engine Soon" light might come on. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The Fix: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt, and if necessary they will apply adhesive to it and reinstall the part with increased torque. If You Own One: "We expect to start customer notifications shortly," GM spokesperson Tom Wilkinson told Autoblog. If the brake pedal becomes loose or inoperative, it could interfere with the accelerator pedal, and/or the driver may be unable to safely stop the vehicle through application of the brake pedal, potentially affecting stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt installation to determine whether the vehicle has already received the production remedy. If not, the dealer will add adhesive to the nut, and reinstall the nut at an increased torque. Note: This condition may result in the "Service Engine Soon" light illuminating, and brake lights may stay on longer than expected. GM can't keep up with most popular pickup orders
Mon, 30 Sep 2013With the market for pickup trucks at its best since before the recession, General Motors can't afford any hiccups with the launch of its new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, but it sounds like the popularity of V8-powered trucks is causing some supply-chain issues. Bloomberg reports that GM is experiencing a shortage of 5.3-liter V8 engines because an unnamed parts supplier has been unable to keep up with demand. This is leading GM to restrict the number of V8 Silverado and Sierra trucks that Chevrolet and GMC dealers are allowed to order.
Although it's unclear how long it will take to resolve the parts shortage, GM doesn't have much time to sort it out, as a new Ford F-150 looms on the horizon. At launch, GM's fullsize trucks were offered only with a base 4.3-liter V6 and the 5.3-liter V8, but a burlier 6.2-liter V8 will be available soon. Interestingly, at least at the moment, GM truck buyers don't seem as willing to downsize to V6 power as buyers of the F-150, which gets some 42-percent of its sales from trucks equipped with its EcoBoost V6 engine (not including the normally aspirated base V6).
Working out the kinks in the Silverado and Sierra's supply chain couldn't be more important to the health of the company. Full-size pickups are a huge profit driver - in 2012, the trucks were said to make up about two-third of GM's total profits.
