Great truck for the farm, snow plowing, hauling wood, fifth wheel/travel trailer towing, slide in camper or daily highway use. Minimal 4 wheel drive use, and never towed more than a 1 ton trailer.

Added front hitch for a cargo carrier, good for moving trailers around as well. Has a K&N performance air filter intake, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system. Original intake/air filter housing included.

Has a clear Maryland title.

I special ordered this truck through the Armed Forces Exchange Military Sales program in early 2001 and took delivery April 2001 at Osan Airbase in South Korea. The truck was built in Detroit MI to USA specifications. I shipped the truck back to the USA in 2006 when transferred to Virginia. It is now located in Havre de Grace Maryland and interested buyers are welcome to inspect and test drive. It is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells before the auction ends.

This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied.

The truck has been part of my life for the past 13 years and I will miss it. Please ask questions and check my feedback. All questions will be answered and additional photos will be sent upon request. About me…..I’m a retired Army Warrant Officer (CW4) helicopter pilot and a former U.S. Marine. I currently work at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland as an Airborne Reconnaissance Aircraft Logistician. Thanks for looking!

2015 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon order guides reveal added power

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

General Motors' Fleet Order Guide system is often the canary in the coal mine for interesting changes on new models. The recent guide for the 2015 Corvette unveiled all sorts of changes that weren't yet known about the sports car. Now, it's time for the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon to take their bow in the spotlight, and they look worth the wait. The new midsize trucks are getting a touch more power than first thought, as well as some very nice features.
Extended Cab models of both trucks come standard with a 2.5-liter, direct-injected four-cylinder rated at 200 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 191 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. That's a bit more than the 193 hp and 184 lb-ft originally reported for the duo. The standard transmission for the extended trucks is a six-speed manual, but the Work Truck trim is also available with an optional six-speed automatic. Towing for the four-cylinder is rated at 3,500 pounds.
Crew Cab models come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 hp at 6,800 rpm and 269 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm, with a six-speed automatic. That's also somewhat different than the originally reported rating of 302 hp and 270 lb-ft. Towing for the V6 is rated at 7,000 pounds.

2019 GMC Sierra spied sporting just a thin wrapping

Mon, Nov 6 2017

A new Chevy Silverado is on the way, and along with that comes it's fraternal twin, the GMC Sierra. We've seen spy shots before, but, like the Silverado we saw a few days ago, this is our best look yet. Nearly all of the loose-fitting camouflage has been removed, giving us a decent view of the bodywork. A brief look shows that the Sierra and Silverado will have significant styling differences for this generation. In the past, GMC trucks have been little more than rebadged Chevrolets. That's been changing in recent years, and the divide seems to be growing larger. The grille looks much larger than the Silverado's and there appears to be a small inlet right where the hood meets the front. From the side, we can see that the two trucks have different fenders and beds. The wheel wells on the GMC are squared off at the rear. Compare that to the round wells on the Chevy. Out back, the design is far more similar. Both trucks appear to have rear-facing exhaust outlets. The taillights, too, look to have close to the same shape. A big bulge in the center of the tailgate likely hides a large GMC badge. We still don't have a firm reveal date, but look for some further news this auto show season. Related Video:
