Up for world wide  no reserve auction is this stunning 1971 GMC Seirra Custom Camper 2500  2wd . Let me be very clear THIS IS a C-20 3/4 ton truck. This truck is super clean and very nice. Has a  factory GM 350 V-8.  Very rust free truck.  All original true survivor with 134K miles. The Truck runs and drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor. One of the nicest driving trucks I have had in a long time. You could drive this thing across the country with out a problem. This truck has been very well cared for. The truck is in great original shape.  The steering and ride are great. This truck is turn key and ready to roll to the local  show and shines this summer.
It is one of the those original type of older trucks that when you shut the door it shuts just perfectly like a brand new car. The rockers are all rust free along with the rest of the truck. Let me be clear here. The paint on this truck looks very cool and original with great patina, keep it this way for the survivor look or paint it for a great restore. It does have it's blemishes here and there but it really just ads to the character of the truck. The optional extra trim package just really finishes the look to this already great looking truck. This truck has been in rust free Washington State its whole life. There is tons of history with the truck in a documented hand written ledger. Also comes with some receipts from when is was bought brand new.

In 1971 the GMC and chevy trucks came with the upgraded disc brakes. These trucks have a big following from the 1967-1972 and the 71' and 72' being the most sought after years.
The interior is absolutely amazing!!!! The seat still has the original factory designed print. The carpet is all original which shows but no rips or tears. The dash is in great shape as you can see. Headliner looks perfect. You really have to drive her down the road in order to fully appreciate this truck. The window has not cracks or chips and is original! The gas tank was taken out and redone which is about the only thing thats not stock. ( no body wants a 40 year old gas tank getting dirt in the lines) The truck still has the build sheet behind the seat (see pics) As I am writing this I just realized I did not check to see if the cruise control works but if you are serious and want to know I can go test it for you. Everything else works like it should. If I was to keep this truck for myself I can't think of anything I would do to it to improve it. It is a very stock great looking peice of classic American automobile history. I have taken over 90 pics of this truck but if you still need something I missed please ask and I will try and get it to you within 24 Hrs or less.

I try and be very honest and descriptive when typing up ads on e-bay and I hope by my feedback you can see that. If I have missed something please call or email me the question. Please don't assume anything its much easier to call and ask. It's tough to write everything about a truck in a couple paragraphs. If you need a shipping quote please leave your zip code I get pretty good rates.  I can do airport pick ups or have a mechanical inspection upon your request. If you like old trucks as much as I do you will love this one!!! I do have the car listed locally and will end the auction for the right price.  70% of my listing end before the auction from a phone call with a fair offer. If it makes it the whole week I ask the buyer to make the deposit in a timely manner if you are unable to call or preferred  PLEASE call at the end of the auction. There is a negotiable $150 doc fee on the deal.   Feel free to call and we can work something out. Washington State free and clear title.

Inevitable GMC Canyon Denali spotted testing

Mon, Feb 16 2015

Practically every other model in the GMC lineup already offers a more luxurious Denali option, so why not extend that to the Canyon midsize pickup? It's hardly a surprise to see the brand doing just that, especially since the standard model seems to be proving quite a success. This Canyon was recently spied testing wearing camouflage over its front end. The truck still needs to breathe, though, and the opening in the obfuscation makes it quite easy to spot the Denali's chrome mesh grille, rather than the horizontal slats of the standard model. Also, just peeking out of the bottom part of the masking is the lower air intake, which appears to be completely lined in chrome now. At the sides and rear, the styling is identical to the current look of the pickup, at least for this prototype. While our spies didn't snap any shots of the interior, it seems safe to anticipate the usual Denali upgrades there, including better materials and additional tech features. Of course, expect a bump in price at the same time to pay for the improvements.

GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado diesels finally heading to dealers

Fri, Jan 1 2016

Customers who have been waiting to receive their diesel-powered Chevrolet Colorados and GMC Canyons should be relived to hear that GM will finally start to ship them out of the Wentzville Assembly Plant. "The highly anticipated 2016 GMC Canyon diesel has begun shipping to dealers," a company spokesperson confirmed to The Detroit News. The trucks originally had a fall launch date, but a final review forced a delay in deliveries. The 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel in the midsize trucks produces 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and the company touts the engine's low emissions. The Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board even put the mill through extra scrutiny with a real world test in the wake of VW's diesel scandal, and the Duramax passed with no problems. At that time, a Chevy spokesperson told Autoblog that the models' launch was on track. The Duramax engine adds $3,730 to the price of a comparable V6 model, but they're the most fuel-efficient pickups on the market. The EPA estimates the twins at 31 miles per gallon highway, 22 mpg city, and 25 mpg combined in two-wheel drive form and 29/20/23 with four-wheel drive. Buyers likely can't wait to finally experience these pickups after reading a heap of positive reviews. The Colorado diesel recently earned Motor Trend's Truck of the Year award. We also came away impressed with it during our First Drive and liked the Canyon during our Quick Spin. Related Video:

Chevrolet considering midsize crossover to slot between Traverse and Equinox

Mon, Jan 9 2017

Crossovers are the new hotness, and automakers are looking to cash in by offering a size and shape for every customer. With Chevrolet's debut of the new 2018 Traverse in Detroit, which grew ever so slightly compared to the first-generation model, there is now a midsize-crossover-sized hole between the three-row Traverse and the compact Equinox. When asked about that obvious space, a Chevrolet spokesperson told us the company is looking into the possibility of expanding its crossover lineup. It should be a relatively simple thing to do, since all it would take is reskinning and rechristening the GMC Acadia with a bow tie, and we all know how much GM loves platform sharing. Although they're now different sizes, the new Acadia and Traverse still use the same platform; the Acadia is now on a short-wheelbase version of the C1XX while the Traverse uses long-wheelbase C1XX parts. A short-wheelbase Chevy built on the C1XX likely would be differentiated visually from both the Acadia and the larger Traverse. It may seem like flooding the lineup with more and more models would cannibalize sales of existing ones, but Chevrolet said it would rather have customers stay within the brand rather than going to another automaker. There have been whispers that some form of the Blazer name (possibly TrailBlazer) may make a return on a midsizer, but if it does don't expect an old-school body-on-frame SUV like the old one. In the end, if Chevy builds it, customers will come. Related Video:
