2013 Gmc Sierra Extended Cab Black Onyx / Graphite Z71 4wd : 10k Mi. Perfect on 2040-cars
Royal Oak, Michigan, United States
Probably the cleanest black truck on eBay - a very pampered truck.
2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab with SLE trim package. Black Onyx exterior paint over Black Graphite cloth interior. Purchased new in January 2013. 5.3L Vortec V8 (Flex Fuel) with 6 speed automatic transmission. 4WD transfer case, selectable from the interior. 20" chrome six spoke wheels. Details on the truck include: Locking tailgate, Fog lamps, Trailering equipment (receiver, lighting). Full size 17" steel spare. Interior features include dual A/C controlled temperature, Bluetooth connectivity, Steering wheel Audio controls, 6 speaker audio system with radio / CD / MP3 / Satellite. OnStar and Sirius equipped (not currently subscribed). Rear window defogger. Tire pressure monitoring system. Vehicle is equipped with remote starter. Prior to delivery truck was undercoated (Ziebart) and had spray-in bedliner applied. Bedliner is similar to Line-X in durability and hardness and shows no wear. Heated seats in driver and passenger seat. Also installed are rear wheel liners to reduce effects of water and dirt on rear suspension. At 625 miles, clear paint film protection was applied to the front 18" of the hood, front 12" of the front fenders, front bumper, front sides of the side mirrors, doors and lower section of the bed below the trim strip, as well as the top of the bed rails. Headlights and fog lights were also protected with film. Work was done by a very reputable installer in Troy, MI and is nearly impossible to see. Truck was always garaged, and hand washed to avoid swirls and spiderwebbing marks in black paint. Paint looks as if it was brand new. Truck was waxed and detailed regularly. The truck was only used for minor towing of a 1800 lb motorcycle trailer 8-10 times. It's an incredibly stable, smooth vehicle on the road. The transmission shifts very smoothly and doesn't have that 'jerky' shifting when trailering. Brake feel when towing is outstanding - smooth and controllable. The truck was used 99% of the time for commuting, and parked indoors when at work. Vehicle was serviced for minor peeling areas on frame coating at dealer (Sep 12 2013). All documents, delivery papers, owners manual and window sticker. Warranty is active and transferrable. Total price at delivery was $39,300, and at 10,300 miles the truck is basically brand new. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I can always provide additional pictures or details. Truck title is held by local Credit Union, which is able to release lien and title after receiving their balance. Again, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking. |

2014 GMC Sierra Regular Cab revealed
Thu, 16 May 2013Despite initially launching in just the Crew Cab configuration, the lineup of 2014 GMC Sierra and 2014 Chevrolet Silverado trucks will eventually grow to include three cab sizes and three bed lengths. Oddly enough, our first look at the Regular Cab bodystyle has arrived in a General Motors press release discussing the aerodynamics of the new truck, with an image showing a Sierra Regular Cab testing in the wind tunnel. GMC's website says that Regular Cab and Double Cab models will be available by summer.
While it really didn't take too much imagination to figure out what the two-door version would look like, this Regular Cab Z71 looks pretty sharp with its standard-length (6.5-feet) bed - a longer bed will also be offered. In regards to the aero tuning of the 2014 Sierra, these images show just how far GM has gone in maximizing the truck's fuel efficiency and reducing its noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) levels. Interestingly, the press release shows visual evidence that keeping the tailgate up is best for aero - there's always been some Mythbusters-level contention about such things -but GM also says that adding tonneau covers (preferably soft) and running boards can also help improve the overall aerodynamics. Scroll down for all of this aero info in the official press release.

GMC Syclone pickup returns via Special Vehicle Engineering
Tue, Apr 16 2019The original GMC Syclone was a 1991 mid-size Sonoma pickup turned muscle truck. Its heavily modified 4.3-liter V6 sported a turbocharger, intercooler, and modified internals, raising output to a Corvette-baiting 280 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The engine was paired with a four-speed automatic, rear-biased all-wheel drive, and four-wheel antilock brakes (the coming thing). With an all-black livery and a lowered ride height, the Syclone looked the business, and backed up those looks with a 0-to-60 time of 4.3 seconds and a 13.4-second quarter-mile, according to contemporary magazine testing. Given all the recent interest in high-performance pickups, it's amazing that GMC hasn't revived the Syclone. But where manufacturers leave an opening, the aftermarket steps in — in this case that's Specialty Vehicle Engineering, which as CNET reports is resurrecting the nameplate for a build of 100 new Syclones, based on the GMC Canyon, which will update the idea a lot more horsepower. The 2019 Syclone takes as its starting point the extended-cab version of the Canyon. The engine is again a V6, this time a 3.6-liter fitted with a supercharger and a custom cat-back exhaust system, upping output to 455 ponies from the stock 306. SVE's Syclone can be had with rear- or all-wheel drive, and it, too, features upgrades to the brakes and chassis. Six-piston front calipers are fitted in place of the standard four-piston units, and the slotted front rotors are upsized from 12.2 inches to 13.6. The suspension is lowered by two inches up front and five inches at the rear, with stiffer traction bars, bushings, dampers, and a heftier rear anti-roll bar. Unlike the original, the modern Syclone can be had in colors other than black — any of the standard Canyon hues are available — but the appearance is customized with rocker-panel extensions, body-color grille and rear bumper, and a composite hood insert. The interior gets embroidered logos and badges, including a numbered plaque on the dash. The price for the Syclone is $39,995 — that's for the package, on top of the cost of the truck. But at least ordering is easy: The Syclone package can be ordered through select GMC dealers.
