Up for auction is a really nice 2010 GMC SIERRA 1500 CREW CAB 4X4. It has a 4.8 liter v8 engine producing 302 hp. The engine runs perfect with no noises or leaks of any kind. The transmission also is in perfect condition shifting threw all the gears and again no leaks. This truck has power windows, power brakes, power steering, power mirrors, dual and side air bags, cd sirrus radio, factory alarm with remote, onstar, anti lock brakes, power door locks, tilt wheel and 4x4 transmission. This truck runs and drives great. The exterior is in nice condition with only minor dents one in the drivers side rear door and the roof which i will provide pictures. The paint has plenty of shine and it looks great. The interior is in great conditio and carpets have no stains or tears, the only thing the whole interior has is a cigarette burn in the middle seat thats it. I purchased this truck in the winter after we had a snow storm so I was not able to notice a little frame damage on the right side. I still went a head and decided to fix it because it was so nice but later I find out that it had a NY 907 salvage certificate which has to go back to the state of NY for inspection which only cost $200 but what really takes a toll on me is the fact that I use a financing company to buy these vehicle and I cannot afford to wait that long for a appointment so here it is. Im selling the truck for what I have into only without my labor . I will give all receipt of all the parts that where use to fix the vehicle to the winner. The only thing this truck needs is the left and right air bag curtains, seat belts and air bag control module reset. The truck drives great and can be driven anywhere. I would recomend to have the frame pulled which I do not have the equipment for. I'll word this in more simple words the truck runs and drives perfect and truck does not drive sideways it drives nice and straight so it deserves to be finished. If you have any questions please email or call me at 484-529-6121 or the shop at 610-377-3163. This trucks book value is around $26,000. This truck will be sold with a 907 NY certificate and all the receipts for the parts used to fix. The truck had both fenders, hood, grille, bumper, radiator support, right side headlight and all the brackets to hold. Thanks for looking and good luck. I will assist international bidders and can delivered the truck to PORT NEWARK, NEW JERSEY for a small fee. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME.

Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
GM considering new powertrain options for large SUVs
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Aside from the new General Motors offerings, there's not a whole lot of action going on in the fullsize SUV segment. That doesn't seem to be stopping GM from pushing the envelope in the market as Automotive News is reporting that the automaker is looking to introduce some new powertrain options into the Chevy Tahoe (and Suburban), GMC Yukon (and Yukon XL) and the Cadillac Escalade - all have been redesigned for the 2015 model year.
Now, we already know that GM and Ford are collaborating on nine- and ten-speed transmissions for a broad range of applications (including the big SUVs), but this new report says that GM is also considering other options as a way to one-up the competition and, of course, to optimize fuel economy. AN quotes Jeff Luke, executive chief engineer for GM trucks, as saying that "interesting powertrain technologies" are coming including a return of a hybrid SUV and possibly even a diesel engine. Although it sounds like the latter could come down to how customers respond to the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel.
2018 GMC Terrain Drivers' Notes Review | Summon the Druids, it's a better Equinox
Fri, Mar 2 2018We've had plenty of time in the all-new Chevrolet Equinox, testing it with all three of its available turbocharged four-cylinders: the 1.5-liter, the 2.0-liter performance upgrade and the diesel fuel economy upgrade. Finally, however, we get a turn behind the wheel of its brother from a different corporate mother: the 2018 GMC Terrain. This duo is certainly one of the most disparate pairings in GM's long badge-engineering past, with virtually no visual similarities inside and out. They're even less similar than the last Equinox-Terrain, which themselves were a far-cry from the Blazer-Jimmy days. They're largely the same under the skin, however, including their selection of engines. For the 2018 Terrain, we sampled the 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel good for 137 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. It's an unusual powertrain to be sure, as no other compact crossover SUV in this country offers one (though Mazda has been threatening to do so for years now), but boasts an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 28 mpg city, 39 mpg highway and 32 mpg combined with front-wheel drive. It's basically the same with all-wheel drive. The as-tested price of the SLT Diesel was a rather hefty $39,605. It did, however, have most options, including the Infotainment Package II and Driver Alert Package II that together include all the extra entertainment and safety gadgets. Contributing Editor James Riswick: Let's be honest, the main difference between the 2018 GMC Terrain and its Equinox sibling is the way they look. As such, I can definitively say I prefer the Terrain. It's far more cohesive and better proportioned than the rather dumpy Equinox. It also avoids the garish over-adornment of the last Terrain even if the floating roofline D pillar has passed its expiry date. I think the interior looks better too. As for the way it drives, the 2018 Terrain demonstrates great improvements from one generation to the next. The steering in particular is greatly superior in its feel and feedback. Body motions are also kept nicely in check. Is it a Mazda CX-5 or Ford Escape beater? No, but it's far more confidence inspiring now. So that's the good. Now, the extremely bad. This diesel engine vibrates so much I can't imagine anyone taking one for a test drive and choosing it over the 1.5-liter gasoline turbo. You feel it through the wheel, the pedals and the seat of your pants constantly. It's particularly bad when stopped and even present when just cruising on the highway.
