Up for sale is...

My 2007 GMC Savana 1500 Cargo Van. I am the original purchaser of this truck. I bought it new on 10/17/2006 from Bergey's GMC in Franconia, Pa. When I purchased it, I added an Adrian Steel commercial bin package for use in my appliance repair business. I also had the rear cargo door glass professionally tinted to keep "curious eyes" from seeing inside the cargo area. I have taken very good care of this truck and have obnoxiously maintained it since the day I bought it. Most used cargo vans listed on these sites are trashed inside, and downright abused. As you can see by my pics, my truck is incredibly clean inside. PA state inspection/emissions just completed. This truck runs 100% and needs nothing. The only reason I am selling it is because I bought a Ford Transit Connect and now use it for my business. I just had the van professionally detailed.

Bid with confidence. I have the clear title and all original purchase/maintenance records in my possession. (CarFax will show more than 1 owner. I sold this van to a friend with a payment arrangement and transferred the title to him. In turn, he could not afford to pay for it, so he returned the truck and transferred the title back to me).

This van has the following optional equipment:
-Adrian Steel Commercial Bin Package/Bulkhead ($2,200 expense)
-Professional Window Tinting ($145 expense)
-Locking Rear Differential ($325 option)
-AM/FM Stereo, 4 Speakers ($150 option - yes, a radio is an option on these vans)
-Fixed Glass, Rear & Side Doors ($130 option)
-Interior Door Panels for Rear ($95 option)
-Cloth Seats ($50 option)

Recent maintenance performed on this truck include:
-New Battery (cost $60)
-(4) New General Grabber HTS Premium Tires (cost $550)
-Front Wheel Alignment *will ensure good tread life for new tires* (cost $60)
-New AC Delco Wipers (cost $25)
-Transmission Flush Service *preventive maintenance* (cost $75)
-Air Filter *preventive maintenance* (cost $36)

If you have any questions at all, please call or message me @ 215...768...1997. Ask for Eric. Thanks for looking.

On Mar-29-13 at 11:06:03 PDT, seller added the following information:

Notice:

There are some blemishes on the exterior of the truck. On the passenger side of the hood and fender there is very light damage. Behind the side cargo doors near the wheel well there is also some very light damage.

I will be adding several high quality pictures soon.

2015 GMC Canyon

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

As discussed earlier today, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is a new standout in terms of midsize trucks. But the Colorado wasn't the only pickup the General Motors team brought to San Diego for us to sample. Also along for the ride was a pack of GMC Canyons, the slightly more expensive and polished platform-mate to the Chevy.
There's no question that the Canyon and the Colorado are a lot alike under the skin - almost entirely, in fact - so GMC has worked to first create some daylight between the two trucks by way of sheetmetal. This is most obvious from the front view, where the blocky and blingy GMC grille replaces the more subdued tone and shape seen on the Chevy's nose. Projector headlights with LED running lights come as standard, and, again, with the squared-off look that is typical of the brand. 16-inch aluminum wheels come stock on the GMC, too, with the 17-inchers seen on my photo truck offered as standard equipment on the top-trim SLT.
GMC considers the Canyon to be the only premium truck in the segment (which is clearly true), and the team has spent a ton of time and effort to get the interior correct to prove out that point. "Any trim that looks like metal, is metal," I was told at the product briefing, a certain indication that the company is serious about bringing a new class of buyer to a truck segment that it hopes to redefine.

GM announces net 220 job increase as Trump visits Michigan

Wed, Mar 15 2017

GM announced today that about 900 jobs would be added (or, importantly, retained) ahead of President Trump's arrival in Michigan, where he is expected to discuss his plan to roll back fuel economy standards. The timing of the announcement is almost certainly not coincidental, as appending it to a Trump visit gives it a higher profile and dovetails with the President's jobs agenda. It's less likely the decision itself was made for those reasons, but the free PR boost is a nice bonus. As for those 900 jobs themselves, they aren't all new jobs. The only net gain is approximately 220 jobs at the Romulus Powertrain Plant, which produces the 10-speed automatic transmission that's proliferating through the company's lineup. The 180 jobs at Flint Assembly and 500 jobs at Lansing Delta Township are retained jobs – that is to say, spots the company found for workers who would otherwise have been laid off. By the way, the Flint jobs will help with production of heavy-duty pickups, and the Lansing jobs are to produce the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave. Finding jobs for manufacturing workers in the auto sector, whether new or retained, is admirable. No matter how GM couches it, the company has created or retained a total of 7,000 jobs this year, and its total reinvestment in US production is around $1 billion. But these decisions are business ones, not political ones – timing the announcements to make them seem inspired by economic policy, or the political situation, is simply smart PR. 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE spy shots show new bumpers and tailgate

Mon, Mar 12 2018

When the new 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 debuted two weeks ago, GM's truck division showed off just the two top trims, SLT and Denali. While the Denali might be the flagship Sierra, it's not likely to be the volume seller (though Denali models makes up almost a third of total GMC sales). These new spy shots show off the midrange SLE trim. It takes a more conservative, toned-down appearance compared to its brash brethren. The most obvious visual changes come at the front and rear. That big grille remains, but there are just three horizontal bars rather than the busier design from the SLT or Denali. The fog lights have been removed, too, though the C-shapped LED accent in the headlights has carried over. Out back, the SLE trim makes do without the trick MultiPro tailgate (it's limited to SLT and Denali models). It also has a different bumper as the exhaust exits just behind the right wheel. Badging on the fenders indicates that the truck has the updated 5.3-liter V8, meaning it's paired with an eight-speed transmission. The 6.2-liter V8 gets the new 10-speed auto. A 3.0-liter diesel inline-six will be available sometime down the road. GMC hasn't announced pricing, fuel economy or power ratings, but expect to see something in the next few months.
